Lousiana fish house in Pinehurst never misses. It's delicious everytime. The redfish is my favorite dish with a side of gumbo and veggies. The service is amazing. Always take care of us. We go at least once a week. If you haven't tried it you must. The wings are my nephews favorite he said they beat out wingstop and Buffalo Wild Wings by miles. I tried Louisiana Fish House based on Yelp reviews. It's in a small strip center along 249, and is fairly unassuming. I was in a hurry, so I just ordered a shrimp po-boy. It was on good bread, and nicely dressed with a good remoulade, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. Very good! I hope to go back when I have more time! read more

This is a great fried fish spot. One of my favorite places to come for lunch. Highly recommend one of their fried fish combos.

My husband had been wanting to try this place forever, and this Sunday we finally were able to stop by for lunch. He loves gumbo more than anything so we started with that to share, which was excellent! I got the Red Fish as my meal, and he got fried shrimp. The Red Fish was delicious and large enough to take home half as the left overs. His fried shrimp were legit the best I have ever had. The batter was perfect and the seasoning was on point (I also stole some of his giant onion rings and hush puppies which were awesome). We will definitely be back to try more items. The customer service was amazing as there was one gentleman who basically took your order, ran your food out, and also waited/checked on you to make sure you had everything you needed. What a great little find. We wanted seafood and was seeing what was buy us and found this. As we were walking up another couple was coming out so we asked them how good it was. They loved it and were regulars so they told us their favorites. Being our first time we had a lot of menu questions and the guy taking our order did a great job of asking questions and making recommendations based on what we told him. The food was tasty. We had the grilled red fish tacos. The sauce was a great balance of savory, tangy, creamy and a little heat. The coleslaw was fresh and crunchy, not soggy and delicious. This place was surprisingly delicious. The food came out fresh and hot! We ordered the red fish tacos with hush puppies, cole slaw and dirty rice. All of it was great. The hush puppies were amazing! Tony took our order and was very polite. He came by after to pick up our plates and make sure our food was good. It's a small little family friend spot. Shrimp Etoufee. Dish presentation was great before I mixed it up. Service was great, food is good. Atmosphere for this chain is weak. Has no effect on the food, but I always feel like I'm in an over commercialized chain. Register staff was good. They checked on me a couple minutes after the food arrived. Large portions, good taste. Shrimp tasted fresh without an over fishy or frozen aftertaste. My only gripe is that this chain's atmosphere is fast food looking. Pricy meals for a Taco Bell atmosphere. I ate it all w/3 pieces of toasted buttered French Bread! My son got his Fried Catfish PoBoy with Cajun Seasoned Fries, his dietary staple and he ate the entire sandwich/fries. Hubs, watching his dietary consumption, had Grilled Catfish with Cole Slaw and Red Beans and Rice, but notices his did spread their delicious target sauce all over his catfish before he began eating it. Nothing left for him either. We went at about 5:30 so it was a lot of take outs then, but usually they are a full house...very nice people....very good food. read more

The staff is honestly the best part of the experience. They earned more than three stars. I had been working and running around and forgot to eat a lunch, so about 230 ish I stopped in, I had a few question about what I was looking at to eat. I ended up with the shrimp and tenders ( 5&3 ) with fries and jambalaya rice. Overall not bad for the price. The shrimp were good and fried well. The cocktail sauce is more like a Mexican or texted style, not the traditional horseradish style. It was still good, just not what I was lookin for. The chicken tenders were good, nice and juicy, most definitely cooked to order. And tasty. The fries were a seasoned fry style with what appears to be that lite coating on it. I am just not a fan. I believe in fresh potato fries. And nothing but. That's just my tastes. The jambalaya rice honestly tasted like a Mexican rice with A few thin sliced pieces of andouille thrown in. I was just not a fan. The staff was very attentive and we conversed quite a bit since it was an off time. I would have the shrimp and tenders again, and I would try some other sides though. After reading the reviews, I thought I'd give it a try. TAKE OUT I had the seafood burrito. I opened the container and saw a huge cheesy sauce covered bomb. It was supposed to be covered in crawfish, but had two tiny pieces. Guess that's their version of covered. I also ordered a small dirty rice. The burrito overall was just plain gross. The cheese sauce had nice favor, but once you got inside, yuck. It wasn't even warm and I live maybe 5 minutes from there. There were two pieces of what I think were blackened catfish, a couple of shrimp and gross jambalaya rice. It tasted like yesterday's garbage. After 3 or 4 bites, it went into the trash. The dirty rice was decent, but no higher than 2 star. The restaurant itself seemed clean, open and nice. Oh, they also charge extra 3% for using a credit card. Something they should mention, which I didn't catch until I got home. Maybe other things are decent, but based on my experience - 2 stars read more
