Irish Eggs Benedict

For a place with a clear full client list we got seated surprisingly fast. And what an experience! Diners being a special passion of mine it's pretty hard to be truly impressed. The food quality and quantity and the old fashioned diner feel is all there! So many experiences never get written about because they're mundane. Take my effort here as an indication that this is a place worth adding to your travels!

The staff were very attentive and friendly. Service was fast and food was amazing. Everyone was nice even the customers. It's a typical diner.

Western omelet

Very happy about the portion!! Great service and bathroom is clean! Love cash only! We will come back again.

Eggs over easy with sausage , wheat toast and home fries.

Great breakfast joint, delicious food, generous portions, reasonable prices, friendly service. We went on a Tuesday morning, and the place was fairly busy. We got seated right away and the food came out promptly. I had eggs over easy with sausage, wheat toast, and home fries. Everything was perfect. What more can you ask for ?

Corn beef & cabbage. HUGE !!!!

Love this place! I usually get the specials. Pot Roast, Chop Suey, Turkey Dinner, Fish & Chips. The meals are massive and tasty. Love the clam chowder. It comes in a HUGE bowl. The Home-made hash omelet is wicked good. The ladies that run the place are always super cool. Great fresh food. Even if there is a line, it moves ultra fast.

Eggs Benedict--w/ ham, and tomatoes. English muffin hiding underneath. Delicious.

My absolute favorite diner around. You get more than your money worth in food. And the service is outstanding!

The food was very good. They have gluten free Bagels, green tea and fruit parfaits. I enjoyed the home fries too. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. I got eggs, home fries, bacon, toast, and 1 pancake. There's a small parking lot and service was very friendly. I waited only a few minutes and my order was taken quickly. The eggs and toast were good. The bacon was okay - just normal bacon and not overly smoky. The home fries were also good. A little smaller portion, but they were cooked well. The pancake was super fluffy and tasted really yummy with the syrup. My only gripe was that it was cooked near or on something with garlic and parsley so about a third of it didn't get eaten. I went to bite into it and it was maple garlic town in my mouth and that threw me off. However, I was nearing on full anyway so I kind of was like eh it happens. I did let the server know before I headed out for future orders and stuff but I didn't want an extra pancake or anything since I ate a good bit of it. She was super nice about it as well. I got the check and left cash on the table. It was about $21 for the meal and 2 drinks. It's a cute little spot and I would go back probably just for the pancakes and the nice service.

The corned beef hash was excellent, and even as a picky pancake lover, I enjoyed mine. My partner ordered the country breakfast, but we received the wrong order with different specifications. We didn't notice immediately and started enjoying the hash. It took the servers about two minutes to realize the mistake and attempt bring us the correct order, they had hoped we hadn't started eating the hash meant for another customer. Although the mix-up was understandable, it was a bit frustrating not to get our raisin toast or runny, sunny-side-up eggs as expected. We stayed with the wrong order and our was brought back to the kitchen. The biggest drawback, however, is the outdated ambiance. I appreciate the vintage, long-time diner charm, but the decor needs some attention: the cups are showing wear, the shades are dusty, and the hallway to the bathroom feels cluttered. The bathroom itself could use a thorough cleaning, the soap dispenser was empty, and the backup pump wasn't working properly, making the space feel less sanitary. A small renovation to refresh the space while preserving its classic appeal would really enhance the overall experience.

Service was friendly, but slow. Food was poor. Clientele was friendly and setting was cozy/small (a…read morebit tight). Classic small town diner setting. We visited Sunday morning at 10 am., which is a busy time for most breakfast spots. Locals suggested the French toast or country breakfast were the recommended ordered. We will try it again, but our first experience was not very good.

The restaurant is very clean. I've met the owner twice as he tries to get around the diningroom before you leave to make sure your experience was a good one & personally thank you. I feel that in itself makes a big difference in quality control & guaranteeing he is hearing his customers & perhaps can make changes before it becomes a business-changing problem. (Sometimes a few bad reviews spread like wildfire & changing rumors back to the truth can hurt the bottom line). There is a delightful waitress you'll be glad to have serve you if you are lucky enough to be seated at her table. "Grandma (name)?" is a very happy way to start your day. She knows the menu well & can make you smile on your worse days. The menu has plenty to choose from & the portions sizes..epic! Eggs Benedict is 3 egg size. Pancakes & French toast orders are enough for today & tomorrow without adding eggs or meat. But their prices are similar to other places lessor size plates. There is an ramp at the entrance for those with mobility issues. There are a couple of handicap spots too. I do not know if the restrooms are wheelchair friendly as I didn't check it out yet. Even on a packed Sunday morning, the kitchen was quick moving the food out.. the waitress was right on top of refills too. Definitely worth stopping in & giving it a try but bring your appetite. Eating like a bird, I think, is frowned upon.
