I've been disappointed with my old nail place-- rushed, uneven/inconsistent nail shape, and what pushed me to go find a new nail place was that when she put the top coat on, it was uneven and you could see the brush marks once the polish was cured. I was done after that. I found Lotus nails through yelp. They had great reviews but only a few. I also went on Facebook and they had more reviews on there and all the recommendations gave them 5 stars. I reached out and was able to book an appointment the next day. The nail salon was easy to find. They had lots of colors to choose from but I wanted one in particular-- OPI's Russian navy. It's my absolute favorite and my old nail place didn't have it. Ruonie was the girl that did my nails and I was telling her I was looking for this color and asked if they have it and they did! Check plus. She was very gentle in wrapping and taking the old gel polish off. It wasn't rushed at all and I like that she didn't scrape off the polish after 5 minutes of wrapping. Ruonie was super meticulous and what I mean by that is she shaped my nails and it matched my other hand. She cut my cuticles so well and even... never have I had someone take their time and do such a great job. The best part is that the polish was so even and nicely done, not even thick, I can't even. It's right down to my cuticle and none of it on my skin! You can tell she's a PRO. Legit quality work. I have been going to Lotus nails for 4 years and they always do an amazing job. Ruoni is usually who does my nails but the whole team is super nice and thorough. They take time and care to get all my cuticles and my gel polish always lasts 3 weeks or more. Tien and Ruoni do amazing designs. Nina and Ratha are also amazing and always listen to their customers needs. I've seen them remember specific colors their customers chose in the past. The whole shop is super clean and they even have the disposable liners for pedicure baths. I have never had a bad nail apt. So happy I have this place a chance! I had been reading awesome reviews for a while and kept saying I was gonna try it out and just kept going local. Finally after continuously being disappointed I decided to come here and so glad I did! I got the dip powder with short tips and they're GORGEOUS!had them for about a week now and not a sign of lifting!! Even on a bummy day it makes me feel a little bit better to see a nice fresh set of nails. All the women there are extremely friendly and really take their time... cute location and very boutique like, you don't get that rush rush feeling they even know most people by first name. I went for my first time last Friday and I am so happy I did. Everyone was really kind and will definitely be going back again.

$48 for a gel manicure with 2 nails in powder requested (she gave me 4 before I rralized and stopped her) seems exorbitant. I checked that with my regular manicurist in Palm Springs, where nothing is cheap, amd she gasped. She did a nice enough job but $48 is crazy. read more

An amazing place for a relaxing pedicure! The business is run by two lovely sisters. I got a herbal pedicure a few weeks ago. For the first time in all my pedicure experiences did the herbal pedicure actually involve application of real herbs in lieu of something out of a package! I left with soft, supple feet! Took a chance to step into a NEW Nail spa ... And YES YES YES! I will be back! The sisters Racha and Runa were absolutely wonderful and very warm in their reception. A family run business by these two Cambodian sisters who speak very fluent English and DONOT chatter away in their native language like many other nail salons. The place is very beautifully designed and the decor is subtle yet soothing. State of the art massage chairs making the pedicure experience enjoyable. I turned up without an appointment on the Friday before New Year and was greeted with a welcoming smile and made to feel like a really valuable customer.
