I've went to this cleaners a few times thinking maybe it was just a mistake that was made. I was Wrong. I've picked up dry cleaning that had stains on it that were not there when dropped off. I had uniforms that were damaged and they didn't take responsibility. This happened on numerous occasions. Do not recommend this cleaners for professional clothing. I brought in a shirt for a button restoration and cleaning. She said it would be ready Monday. I left my phone number and was told I would be called with updates. Not only was the shirt not reported it was not cleaned either. I got a call the shirt was ready to pickup, with NOTHING DONE TO IT. Additionally the worker laughed and pointed at me when I was visibly shocked. I'm still shocked this is how a business operates. They didn't even clean it. Crazy. read more

This place will lie and swindle you into fees after they dropped the ball on their own timeline and services. They will also tell you they do the alterations when in fact they send the clothes to a completely separate business, who will then butcher your clothes, lie about it all and completely ignore any conversation about the matter. They'll leave all correspondence to 16 year kid who knows nothing. They'll dodge you completely. Really professional. They assured me my garment was not cut, it was. They assured me I needed said alteration in the first place, I did not. So they took my garment apart, and put it back together for no reason at all. I wouldn't trust my socks at this place. I've been coming here for years. I bring my comforters very often. For the first time today, I was charged an extra $10.00 for tiny black hair removal on my comforter. This was never disclosed to me when I dropped it off. It is not part of the waiver you sign in case anything is ripped etc. If I would have known this in advance I would have made sure every hair was removed before bringing my comforters in. Good information for anyone that may leave a hair on their clothes or blankets! read more

Terrible Customer Service I dropped off some curtains to be hemmed by the tailor and would not have bothered had I known Lost Pines Cleaners subcontracts the job. There is no in-house tailor. This would not usually seem like an issue, but Lost Pines takes NO responsibility for the tailor services. In fact, they use the subcontracted tailor service as an excuse for terrible customer service. I was told I could pick up my curtains on Friday after 5:30 p.m. I arrived on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. to find out that the "tailor had an emergency" and the curtains would not be available until Saturday at noon. It is a 40 mile round trip and I couldn't imagine lingering in Bastrop for three hours to wait on the curtains so I went home. My next opportunity to come into town was today, Wednesday afternoon. When I picked up the curtains I found out that the owner of Lost Pines Cleaners declined to offer a discount or even an apology for my inconvenience and squarely set the blame on the tailor. Lost Pines "can't give a discount because the tailor is not part of their business". That is quite possibly the lamest excuse for poor customer service I have ever heard. I have not had the opportunity to use Lost Pines Cleaner's dry cleaning services but I guarantee I will not even try after this experience. I will also not take any future alterations to them since they farm out the work and take no responsibility for it. Instead I will take my business to a proper alterations shop. I was a fan of this place and was taking clothes there every week. We all know that going to the dry cleaners is not cheap. I dropped my husbands jeans off at this dry cleaning place, this is just one pair out of the many that I took there. Three in total were ruined from the same bunch. This pair in particular was folded in a way that the damage was concealed also they were put in a plastic garment bag. I have included the pictures of the damage also the response I received from the owner. She claimed that these had to be old work pants but this was the second time I had this pair dry cleaned at this place. read more

I took a dress I purchased from goodwill for $15 in to be hemmed. Its a thin, single layer of fabric at the hem area. I was told that the alteration cost started at $35, which i commented was very high. The employee told me that the price goes up with multiple layers, complexity, etc. but since mine was a basic hem on a single layer of fabric, it wouldn't likely me more than the base price. I reluctantly said ok and left it at that. My partner wen to pick it up for me and the cost was $61.62?!?!?! WTF??? He paid it, I would have just let them keep the damn dress, but he didn't want to make that call for me so he just paid the extortionist price and left. I'm so angry that the cost was nearly double the base for a VERY simple hem and they didn't give me the courtesy of a call once they determined what it would actually cost to see if I still wanted the work done. I would rather drive back into Austin to my old dry cleaner for any future alterations I need. They were reasonably priced and knew the meaning of customer service. I will NEVER give my business to Lost Pines Dry Cleaning again. read more

Disappointed.. took two dress shirts and some pants here before noon on a Friday. I asked if they would be done by the end of the day the next day. The attendant responded that they do not clean on fridays and my TWO SHIRTS AND ONE PAIR OF PANTS would not be done until Monday, the day of my very important interview. I guess I'm just wondering why they wouldn't accept business from a new customer who won't be returning. I'm a fairly understanding guy but I'm shocked that they didn't have enough time to clean my clothes but were fine being on their phones and bumming around their shop.. oh well, guess I'll be wrinkled at my interview. read more

I picked up my weekly cleaning from Lost Pines Cleaners on Friday 1/15/2021 and on Sunday I noticed one of the shirts had a tear on the top of the right shoulder and then found that the other 6 shirts that had just been laundered at Lost Pines had the exact same damage in the exact same spot. I took the shirts in Monday morning and the lady said she would have the owner call me , I did finally get a call on Wednesday morning from the owner and she said I must have defective shirts and I should contact the shirt manufacturer. Really? I have had the same brand of shirts for many years and these shirts that were ruined have only been laundered 3 or 4 times and always at Lost Pines Cleaners. read more
