I ordered at 8:30 pm. Was told my to-go order would be ready by 9:03 pm. 9pm came so I sent my nephew in to get the order. 20 minutes go by and the order still isn't out. I come in to see what was going on. There were 2 chicks at the bar and one other couple. No one else except for staff. The bartender was flirting with the chicks and ignored me for an additional 10 minutes. He was the one checking orders out, btw. When I finally got the order, I told him and another waiter who walked up that this was unacceptable and I wouldn't be back to this location. The 2nd waiter just laughed and said "see you tomorrow"! I honestly do not know where to begin, me and my small party went here after a tournament and we were all in a good mood. Unfortunately this is one of the worst los tres amigos (LTA) I've ever been to. The men's bathroom look like it was barely hanging on by some level of miracle. The weight staff service was absolutely horrible, if I can even call that having service. The server barely came, and he actually tried to bring our food to another table. Not only that, but the other table seen their waiter more than five times between our waiter visits, it's almost like he completely forgot about us, and I had to manually ask for refills. One of my party members food came out, not only burnt, but not even mix together like it's supposed to be. The food is definitely not up to par to LTA standards. And then there is the overcharging, I cannot believe I was charged $1.50 for onions and four dollars for salsa, and don't get me started on how much they charge for sour cream. It seems like every single thing we ask for was some extra charge, we have never felt more nickel and dimmed. Their menu is even less than other LTA's. One things for sure if you want some good LTA I highly suggest just going to the next town, and if you are just desperate, there's always Taco Bell. I even waited more than 25 minutes with no one around at the front counter trying to ask how much was their ice cream and it too was overpriced at over four dollars for just a bar of ice cream... no thanks I'll pass! read more

In Jackson on business trip went to Los Tres Amigos for dinner and very impressed. Had Fajitas Del Mar which was very good and cooked perfectly. Pretty large portions. The chips and salsa were also very good. The service from the waitress was excellent and she was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for authentic Mexican food. read more

Stopped by for a late dinner with friends. We sat out on the patio, which was so nice! I wish I could remember our server's name; she was friendly and very efficient. The food was fine - standard American Mexican food. I liked the Queso dip; the guacamole had very little flavor. I went to this restaurant with some coworkers . I had ordered the taco salad (which was just some shredded chicken and lettuce-very disappointing ). The menu price was $7.25. I was charged $9.99. My coworkers were overcharged as well for their lunches. When I pointed out the pricing discrepancies to our server, she called the manager over. The manager explained that their prices went up and they didn't receive new menus. She said that they wrote the new prices on the menu but they got wiped off when they cleaned the menus. She explained that as long as this sign was posted they could basically charge whatever they want (really?). We didn't want to make a commotion and ended up paying the inflated prices. I found this place while looking fo a different place. I'm from the west coast so still trying to acclimate to the time zone. Everything seems to be closed early out here. Anyhow, restaurant was very nice. Not crowded but it was almost closing time. I was greeted by a very nice young lady who quickly took my order. No Stella or angry orchard so I had to go with corona. Not a big deal. The Decor is very nice reminds me of restaurants in Mexico. They really did well with capturing the Mexican culture. I ordered a shrimp burrito with rice and beans. (Included toppings that were specifically asked to be left off) Soup was spilled in the bag (partially delivery driver's fault, but since it's soup it should have been bagged separately.) Very good Mexican food on West Ave. in Jackson. They took an old Ponderosa and gave it Mexican flair. The service is fast, and the food is tasty. They also serve alcohol. This an alert people, for the new orders called in or ordered online for pick up, when you go to pick up your order, and pay with your debit / credit card they will sneakily charge you for the tip if you decide not to leave one. This is one bad experience I'm now having to go thru, after I got home and called to ask why there was an additional $7.41 extra charge on my bank statement, which is exactly 20 % of my total order cost, manager says they dont see it on there side, I've got to go in and dispute the charge, I believe the cashier is sneaking in the charge before the manager gets to see the receipts. Now I've got to go back and discuss and dispute everything, NO ONE one should have to go thru this ever. Its' not even the dollar amount that matters, its the point of them scamming customers ..... It seems like I have eaten here about once for every other place I've eaten at combined in the past few years, so why would I have not written a review?. At Los Tres, ya gotta know what to get. I avoid almost anything prewrapped in a tortilla. I generally avoid chicken and ground beef. Paul! What the hell does that leave? A combo with chiles rellenos, and I'll get a tamal, which has shredded beef... or an enchilada, okay... ground beef. I love the whole battered pepper thing covered with red sauce and stuffed with that great white cheese sauce that comes with several of their dishes. I've found three good dishes with pork (carnitas). You can get something actually called carnitas, which comes with too few tortillas and several toppings. Treat each wrap with cholula... excellent. You can also get the carnitas in three tacos... same as #1 with tacos. The third is chile verde with carnitas, which had a great green sauce and too few tortillas. ... And one of their best dishes. Fajita especial amigos. Omg. Enough food for two meals. Carnitas, shrimp, chicken, chorizos, an out-of-this world sauce, and too few tortillas. Can't forget molcajete! Supposedly a favorite of their Latinx customers. I've had and enjoyed it a few times. Loaded with different meats and chorizo... and too few tortillas. So go... enjoy! And spare them at least one more star... they deserve it. Speedies sitdown food in town served by the friendliest servers. And I guess ask for more tortillas? I don't know why I never do. read more

The music was perfect and the food was amazing to listen to, BUT theirs one thing the waitresses should sit in a table in the back to eat their "in break food" I think it was rude that the waitress went to break and didn't bring the food to us and asked us if we needed anything before Goin to break..... Not professional in her part.... Why smile and welcome if you can't complete the job.... Finish what you start. Period.... My first time back since they rebuilt after the big fire. It's beautiful inside. We waited about 30 seconds to get seated. We got free chips and salsa and it was very good. They have hot sauces if you want it hotter. No sooner did we order the food and it was being served. Wow, I can't even get a burger at McDonald's that fast. Food was delicious. Waitress was fast and kept checking on us. I just had a taco bowl salad because I had a big breakfast and wasn't very hungry. My wife had the Burrito Amigo. She must have been hungry because she ate the whole thing in no time flat. Food prices are comparable. Drinks are a little expensive for my taste but who wants poor people coming there to get drunk?
