Then there's my friend's stuffed baked potato which was incredible. I bet I ate half. The burgers are a solid choice, too. I settled on a cheeseburger and rings. All great...especially for a lounge. While I've never really seen food come out in partials quite like they do, maybe they were busy and/or understaffed. At first, only one of our entrees came out, it was then five minutes before two more were served. Finally, after ten minutes all five had arrived. Ten minutes seems like an eternity to wait when you're looking at your buddy carving up his dinner. Other than that, there's outdoor seating. Shade. Hootch. And a wonderful wait staff! Can't ask for too much more. We'll try them again, should we ever be back in these parts. 06/21

It's a very inconspicuous location, squeezed in between two truck depots. The building looks--inside and out--like it could be someone's workshop. At least if someone hung cool original art on their workshop's walls and set up a pool table. When we stood in front of the bar looking at the draft menu, a couple sitting nearby offered to scooch down so we could get barstools. Friendly folks=good start. We tried samples of a black IPA and rye IPA. Both were good, but we went with the rye for a pint. Nice and hoppy with just a little sharpness, good body. Had a bit of a drive in front of us, so we got a crowler of the black to go. Interesting beer selection, with two strong Scottish ales and many IPA variants. Plus alcoholic fruit slushees if that's your thing. We're mulling a run to Jackson purposefully to sample more of their offerings.

I came in today to be sat at a sticky table. I let it go as these seem to be the original tables and thought maybe they need to be refinished. I ordered tequila and forgot to ask what the house is... BAD mistake. Mr. Boston is the house. The ONLY reason I even know what that is, is because my family lives in a college town and some of the college bars sell it for $2 dollar shots. I would have never guessed that a bar for adults would serve Mr. Boston. Last the salad. The dressing still tastes homemade and the salad itself was delicious. It was just work once I started finding the rotten pieces on my fork. Would I come back? Maybe in a few years to see what's changed but it's definitely not in my list of places to visit. If you have another choice... do that.

She had ordered an appetizer and was munching on that when I got in, I ordered a burger which came out quick. I must have been hungry as it was gone as quickly as as it arrived. I didn't take in the moment as it was a long day of travels but from what I know about the surrounding area this would be a good choice for a date night out if you are looking for somewhere to go.
