At first, only one of our entrees came out, it was then five minutes before two more were served. Finally, after ten minutes all five had arrived. Ten minutes seems like an eternity to wait when you're looking at your buddy carving up his dinner. Other than that, there's outdoor seating. Shade. Hootch. And a wonderful wait staff! We tried samples of a black IPA and rye IPA. Both were good, but we went with the rye for a pint. Nice and hoppy with just a little sharpness, good body. Had a bit of a drive in front of us, so we got a crowler of the black to go. Interesting beer selection, with two strong Scottish ales and many IPA variants. Plus alcoholic fruit slushees if that's your thing. We're mulling a run to Jackson purposefully to sample more of their offerings.

We sat at the bar both days and were lucky to have Cassandra, who was super sweet, friendly, and made the experience even better. The first day I got the Whiskey Burger, and the next day I tried the Bourbon Steak. Both were good, but that Bourbon steak with mashed potatoes was my favorite. The drinks, on the other hand, weren't great. Not strong at all, but for $5-$6 a drink, I can't say I expected much. Definitely worth skipping the cocktails.
