The restaurant is located in the back of the venue. There is a small bar and seating both inside and out. We had drinks at the bar before moving to our table for our meal. Drinks were great, food was outstanding. It arrived hot and very flavorful. Horse Feathers is off the beaten path, but definitely worth the drive.

We arrived at 7:15 and were confidently told it…read morewould be a few minutes. 5 min later we were seated at a tiny table in the bar area with two glasses of warm water already on the table. The bar had a family of 4 sitting there with two minors and all were dressed appropriately for a McDonald's and not a nice restaurant. I asked the hostess about the outdoor reservation after realizing this table was going to be a problem. They said they'd try to get us outside, and would move us when a table opened up. A few minutes later, two people walked in without a reservation, asked if they could sit outside, and were seated outside. We then asked about this, and they said the other couple asked to sit outside and the hostess said this to us with a straight face! So now I'm fascinated. What exactly is the reservation doing here? Is it ceremonial? Did I reserve the opportunity to watch someone else get the table? We decided to stay anyway and ordered two drinks and an appetizer. 25 minutes later, we had no drinks and no appetizer. At that point, you have to admire the consistency. They didn't honor the reservation, they didn't bring the drinks, and they didn't bring the food. Nothing we requested made it to us. So we left. I assume somewhere around 9:00 our drinks arrived at an outdoor table occupied by the couple who just walked in.

The trio with the pico and the mango salsa are average, the guacamole is not good. Guacamole seemed old, bland and out of a tube. Not worth it. The east and west coast oysters aren't too bad.
