We sat at the bar for dinner. It didn't seem like that happened all that often as our server seemed new or unsure what to do with us. The drinks were great, though, and so was the food. I had been wanting to try quesabirria tacos. This was my first time having tacos in this style. So good. Zero complaints. Another fun bit, the food is delivered to the tables by a robot that plays the Macarena song. It was fun and the kids around us really got a kick out of it.

Send Help! Alright...let's talk about this very odd dining experience. I've been to a different location and thought this would be the same but it definitely was not. Arrived on a Saturday around 6:30pm and was greeted quickly. Our party of two was sat immediately and I should have realized the first red flag being that there was hardly anyone there on a Saturday and wait staff were just sitting around and on their phones... Our waitress was very nice and she did her best, I will give her that. She stated it was her first day which I'm not so sure it was but let's give her the benefit of the doubt. We tried to order two large margaritas on the rocks, one lime and one strawberry, with a top shelf tequila. She came back to our table not once, but three times trying to get this drink order! Apparently it's impossible to order the large margarita with a top shelf tequila without it being insanely complicated. First time was to let us know they didn't have the tequila we asked for which was on their menu. She stated the bartender said they didn't even know it was on the menu (next red flag). Then the second time she came back, she was asking if we wanted all four shots in the margarita and if not she could serve us two of the tequila shots on the side. Wait what?? We just want the margarita with a nice tequila? Why is this so hard? So the third time she comes back, essentially with the same questions about if we want all of the tequila and they have to make it from scratch instead of use a mix and all this stuff and were we okay with that. I realized this was not going to end well so I promptly changed my order to the strawberry fresh fruit margarita instead (again, tried this at another location so I knew I liked it). Drinks arrive......yikes. So my mom's lime margarita tasted overwhelmingly of peach schnapps. How?! That wasn't anywhere near the what the drink was? My strawberry fresh fruit margarita tasted like chemicals. If you've ever had fernet, that's what it tasted like. So awful so I gave up and sent it back and stuck with soda. For dinner we had ordered tacos and a burrito bowl. The burrito bowl was decent, however my mom ordered it with pickled red onions which the waitress seemed unsure of. When it arrived there was just a mound of chopped raw red onion. Aside from that she said it tasted good. My carne asada tacos on the other hand were quite literally tasteless. I've had these at the other location and they were good so I was disappointed but not surprised after the drink debacle. We also kept getting bowls of chips that were all broken into tiny pieces :( It was a rough experience but kudos to the waitress as she kept a great attitude despite the challenges. Probably going to steer clear for now.

Got invited for lunch by some group members that frequent here. The interior appeared clean and well managed. Our waitress Eileen was so nice. The frozen margaritas were yummy and I love the variety of flavors they offer. We got the sampler as an appetizer for the table. It was okay. Nothing to brag about Now, I'm a sucker for a good tamale so that's exactly what a ordered; pork tamale lunch with black beans. I felt the same as I did with the appetizer, it was okay, nothing to brag about.

    This is my dinner

Order take out from Canton Los Tres Amigos. Ordered the Pollo Toluca which is supposed to be a grilled chicken breast with Mexican sausage and cheese sauce. What I got was a grilled chicken breast with watery cheese sauce. Called the restaurant to complained got Oops sorry about with a laugh.

"Authentic Mexican Restaurant" is listed on their front lawn sign. I am not sure if that really holds up, but I do know Los Tres Amigos has been around for over a decade now. They have even expanded as a local chain within the surrounding communities. There were ample spaces in the private parking lot. The inside dining room had a colorful, almost gaudy, decor. We sat on the outside patio where there were several covered tables available. When I walked in through the front entrance, there was a poster on the wall showing two new items, tacos de birria and quesabirria. I was surprised that this place even carried such offerings because this was not an area of the country that I expected to follow such a food trend. Therefore, I had to order those tacos to sample how they compared to where I now reside. While we were waiting, complimentary chips and salsa were provided. The latter was served in small plastic urns that I normally associate with hard liquor at the bar. My platter had three tacos with corn tortillas and a cup of consomme on the side. Lime slices, hot sauce, and avocado crema were included as garnishments. The stewed beef was moist but could have used more seasoning. The cup had a few chunks of beef in it as opposed to straight broth so that was a nice touch. I thought the quality and quantity of my food were a little above average so I rated the experience with 3.5 stars.

Zero stars this visit. Coming back to this place after few years.. totally disappointed. Extremely biased and partial staff. They choose who to serve first and give good treatment.. does not matter who comes first. We did not even get water nor silverware without asking.. We waited nearly 30 minutes after seating for someone to come take the order. After 1 hour of waiting some one comes out and says one of the vegetarian modification request cannot be made. They are just starting to cook the order?? What's the h&ck? I was about to walk out if not for the free chips that we ate.. ok fine.. finally we got the order.. everything was bad.. terrible... literally everything. Waste of 60 bucks, disappointed family. This is the last ever time I will be going to this place.

Peach Cobbler Factory has been in business for about a year now in this western suburban Detroit strip mall where parking is never an issue. The inside of the suite was bright and spacious, however there were no seats or tables. Maybe they used to have some stools and high-tops in the past? A faux green wall was on the right, but it seemed out of sorts when nearly all places with such a social media friendly feature also have seating. There were over a dozen cobbler flavors, and each order included ice cream. The surprise was the variety of other desserts that were available. Cinnamon rolls, cookies, banana pudding, pudding shakes, brownies, Belgian waffles, and churro stix were offered. Some of these items were on display in plastic cases at the service counter. By using such a specific business name, it undersold the diversity of sweet treats that you could purchase here. A Mango Peach Cobbler was what I decided to buy. Because everything was packaged to go, the cobbler was served in one takeout container while the cinnamon vanilla ice cream was scooped into its own styrofoam cup. A cobbler is a fruit filling poured into a large baking dish that is covered with a batter/crust before being baked in an oven. It's essentially like a deep dish pie. I didn't detect much mango flavor, but the peaches were very sweet. I wished the cobbler portion size was larger for the $9 price. The ice cream was a nice touch if you wanted to eat the cobbler a la mode.

It didn't become a big melted mess, so it was nice that they're kept separate. Unfortunately, though, the ice cream itself wasn't great. My husband didn't mind it, and we both enjoyed the cinnamon in it, but to me it was watery and just not something I'd eat again. The cinnamon roll was really bad. It was extremely dry and lacked flavor. The only thing that made me take more bites was the Nutella on top. The employee who took our order was kind, and the store was clean and bright. But I would not come back here.

Food: I tried two things; Cookie butter bubble tea and the pandan waffle. I love anything cookie butter so this bubble tea hit the spot exactly how I needed it to! It's probably the best thing that tastes exactly like the actual butter/biscoff cookies in a different form. I love it so much I'm planning on using it as a reward as I accomplish my 2023 goals! It is extremely sweet, so I suggest telling the cashier to make it less sweet. The pandan waffle was also delicious, it is a regular waffle but they use food coloring to make it look wacky. It is sweeter like cake but still crispy on the outside. They have a large variety of tea and toppings options so I'm sure you'll be able to find what wets your whistle. Service: Service was great. Since it was my first time at this cafe, the cashier was very forthcoming with information. She was the one to suggest that I make my bubble tea less sweet. Ambiance: The cafe is pretty small on the inside. It has some seating but isn't a place to hang out and have a drink, so just grab what you need and leave. It is cutesy like most places that serve these types of drinks. The menu can be overwhelming since there are many options but as previously mentioned, customer service was great at info with the drinks. Overall great place and I can't wait to visit again. Some of the best hot chocolates I've ever had are from chocolate shops (makes sense) so I had high hopes. The price was quite reasonable I think for a premium hot chocolate, $4.99 for a dark hot chocolate with Mayan spice (cinnamon, cayenne, etc.) added. There was an option to add whipped cream and marshmallows but I opted out. The cocoa was excellent - delightfully chocolatey and definitely spicy - it definitely had a kick. I would order again in a heartbeat - maybe it's a good thing for my body that I don't live that close to Plymouth. They also have a nice array of chocolates, very similar to classic chocolate shops. I bought a couple of dark chocolate covered cherries and dark chocolate honeycomb chips for my mother and she loved them and she can normally be very picky about these type of chocolates. She said they were very fresh and the cherry flavor of the chocolate covered cherries was excellent. These were probably her favorite chocolates she's had in the last ten years or so.
