Not impressed. We were able to get street parking (free) right away and got seated immediately, so I was thinking things were on the right track. The setting was fine. Nothing special but nothing wrong. Service taking our orders was fine, but after that we were left alone, even to get the bill. The food however, was grossly disappointing (even worse considering the price). It came out within a few minutes (which bothers me; certainly not fresh) and lacked any flavor. My flautas were not cooked right. My wife's tacos were so so. And same for my son's chili relleno. All highly disappointing. I don't see myself going back.

Missed my connection at DCA and ended up at a nearby hotel for the night. Nothing better to cure the air travel blues than some delicious Mexican food and a margarita. I ordered the queso and chicken chimichanga and a blackberry margarita. Everything was delicious! Food was hot, I regretted not ordering a large margarita (though it was my early am flight deterred me). Service was great! The only downside was that the restaurant was pretty warm. All in all a good experience though.

Large party of 15, service was great. Food came out in good time and everyone enjoyed their food, with the exceptionof 1 person and they took it off the bill easily. It was only a matter of taste, nothing wrong with it.. Most of us had the birria tacos and they were delicious, the consomme was flavorful.

A great place for lunch in Crystal City! Our server Jeronimo was very kind and attentive and took great care of us. I loved how quickly the food came, and the quality was great too! My only gripe is that I wish the fajitas came with more tortillas. Flavors were great, chips were delicious... overall awesome!

Wifey and I moved my son into his summer apartment in Arlington and we needed some dinner. We were actually going to get sushi, but the margaritas people were drinking on the outside patio changed our minds. We were going to eat outside, but it was getting a little late and chilly so we opted for inside and we had menus, water, chips, salsa and our drink order in in no time. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with explaining the portion sizes for us. I ordered the beef, chicken and chorizo fajitas and a LARGE Mango Margarita. Wifey had the Chicken burrito and a regular margarita and my son had the Enchilada combo and a strawberry margarita. My only complaint about the meal was the large mango Margarita didn't seem to have a large amount of tequila in it as the flavor of the tequila was missing. Otherwise, all of our meals were delicious. The salsa was a little watery, but had nice chunks of tomato and onions and a nice spiciness to it. I never had chorizo on a fajita platter and now I don't m ow if I can ever NOT have it again...very tasty. I'm sure we'll be back down to see my son soon, and if I'm craving Tex-Mex I know where I'm going!

Beef burrito with rice and beans, Pico and guacamole. Chips thin, salsa a little watery but there's chunk if you dig. Modelo on tap

Here for a business meeting staying at the Hilton just a few minutes walk away from this place. A true five star rating, the food was great, the presentation, atmosphere, decor, just an all-around great experience. I had the beef burrito which came with a generous helping of refried beans, Spanish rice, pico, and guacamole. The chips were very thin if you like them that way, the salsa was a little watery but lots of Chunk in it if you dug in. Cold beer on tap was great and a giant glass. Whole thing cost about 35 bucks with the tip.

Came here after leaving from visiting my dad at the hospital close by. I was familiar with the area but have never been here so we decided to try it. The margaritas were top tier and not watered down. I don't like to taste my tequila so it was sweet. I ordered the Mexicano Pollo which came with shrimp on top and cooked with cilantro. It was flavorful and healthy like I wanted it to be. Bae got the chicken and steak tacos. Both were good but we liked the steak better. Would definitely go back and try something new.

Solid "Mexican food" place in Crystal City, their Margs are huge, their food is consistent and hot. If you need a fix, try this place.

Popular Mexican restaurant in Arlington wanted to check out. Ordered a variety of items as the menu was large and varied. The salsa was some of the best I have ever had, full of tomato and onion. Chips good. Tortilla soup good and special tamales. Margarita not impressive. Way too sweet so couldn't finish it. Great service and attentive staff. Recommend spacing out appetizers and entrees as all the food came around the same time. Would definitely visit again. Loved the ambiance with lots of indoor and outdoor seating

Exceptional service with exceptional food. Be sure to stop by, there are 4 locations in the dmv area.

3.5 stars overall. A cute location with a nice outdoor seating area. What we got: The salsa and chips (complimentary) were alright. 3* My first bite was one of disappointment and I wish I could recall exactly why. Maybe because the salsa was a bit watery. The onions in it are fantastic and it has a decent kick to it, but everything else is lackluster. Regardless, it was not a raving start to the meal. Los Tios Chicken (Pollo Los Tios) dish with side of black beans - 4* when it first came out my eye narrowed on the vegetables that reminded me of defrosted frozen veggies. And while they don't taste like defrosted veggies, they aren't super fabulous either. But then you take a bite of the chicken and oh boy! The taste buds are happy! The chicken was both moist and dry (how is that a thing??) The sauce the chicken comes in was amazing. And rice is cooked in butter (and I think onions) and was fabulous. The black beans were alright (tasted better if you dipped the chips from the salsa in it).

Great drinks + good food + good service = Great Time! I missed Happy Hour, but the drinks were still reasonably priced. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. With parking right in the back, everything is a win!!

Los Tios Grill is a colorful Mexican restaurant on the busy and hip 23rd St strip in Arlington, Virginia. There's plenty of indoor seating and a reasonable amount of outdoor seating as well. The complimentary chips and salsa were delicious! You can tell they were made in house. The tortilla chips were so light and crunchy. The salsa had a wonderful flavor. Frozen BlackBerry margarita was super thick and really good! My server highly recommended this choice and I appreciate it because I enjoyed it. I chose the chicken quesadilla off of the lunch special menu. Absolutely yummy and the accompaniments (fresh guac, sour cream and chopped tomatoes and onions) made it that much better. My server Wilber was incredibly attentive from start to finish. Nothing but high marks for this place and I look forward to coming back here in the future.

My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.

This place is located in a convenience store, so when you're approaching the address, it's not very obvious that this place is located inside due to the lack of signage. This place has limited hours and I believe they open early for breakfast and close at 4:00 p.m. I originally wanted to call in my order, but didn't see a decent menu online and/or prices, so I made my way there. I got there maybe about 20 minutes before they closed as I saw the chairs up on top of the tables in their seating area. I immediately just ordered the carne asada tacos, the pork pupusas and the cheese pupusa. I took it to go, brought it inside my car and because I didn't eat lunch and it was almost dinner time, I literally picked up the cheese pupusa and ate it in my car. It was piping hot and delicious. I didn't even put the little salad / hot sauce on top as I was really hungry. Overall it was really good. Of course, I moved on to the taco and thought it was kinda small, but thought to myself I should have ordered one more. I think it was comparable to the price that I paid, but for someone that was hungry I knew that maybe four wouldn't not be enough but thankfully the pupusas filled me up. I didn't finish my food completely as I drove home because I wanted to really sit down and try the food. My overall feedback on the tacos is to probably ask them to make my tacos medium rare if at all possible. Secondly, I would probably order at least five and maybe four pupusas. I think that would satisfy my craving and I would be full. I love supporting small businesses so if you are in the area, please stop by and try out this place.
