I'm very upset that they can't get my order right. They are good at making tacos but, I paid for what I asked for and I haven't received the order I've been asking for. I've been here 3 times and the first time was perfect I got the barría tacos with consume I had no complaints! The 2nd time I asked for barría tacos with consume I got the order, went back home and realized I didn't have consume in the bag. I came back with the order to get the consume and they wouldn't give it to me, I even asked if I could buy it and the guy said "no you can't buy it!" eventually, I bought it. I was angry about that and I wasn't leaving until I got the consume and he kept saying I didn't buy the right one like what??! it was like $18!! The 3rd time, I came in I get the usual 3 barría tacos with the consume, I also asked for horchata and a flan. I got all that stuff but the tacos, it wasn't even barría I paid $26.22 to get regular tacos that just had steak in it. It didn't even have cheese! the tortilla wasn't even fried! And the meat wasn't even the right meat! it was just a small tortilla with diced steak! They pretty much have taken my money at this point and I'm not happy, I'm also not coming back. Order was wrong bc they came w everything and an extra taco? only the chorizo was made right Called to dispute and they said can't do anything about it, told the employee over the phone I told the front desk girl cilantro only very specifically and when he asked her she said she didn't hear anything. The service is good, the young lady that took our order was kind and well informed. It was kind of one of the staff to bring us our food since we sat outside. I did nonetheless have to go back in, since there salsa bar inside is where one gets the limes and salsa. The food was good, and reasonable for Temecula eateries. My hubby and I shared the tacos and realized that maybe we should have ordered 3-4 tacos each. At $3.5-$4 a taco, expect to pay around $20 per person with a drink. The seating inside is limited and the music is a bit loud. While eating outside, the cars are in your face. Be prepared and grab lots of napkins since the tacos a finger linking good. read more

So here's what happened... I wanted a great breakfast burrito on a random Tuesday in Temecula--home of mediocre food. Problem is, I've been burned before. Too many places claim to have a good one, and I wanted a GREAT one. I took a chance and went to Los Tacos, with no expectations on it being edible, let alone good. I wanted a small burrito, which this is decidedly not. It's giant, it's filling, and it's absolutely, perfectly, mouthwateringly delicious. I'm slightly concerned that it may have been the cook who made everything taste amazing, and not just the restaurant--I've only ever been there once. But assuming it's the restaurant, it was so perfectly executed, I'm also almost afraid to go back out of fear of being disappointed. But go back, I will. I had the breakfast burrito with bacon. It was a large amount of crumbled bacon, and it was mixed up wonderfully with the well seasoned eggs, perfectly crispy and seasoned potatoes, just cheesy enough, and it was wrapped in the biggest tortilla I've seen. Their salsas topped it off. They were flavorful--spicy but not overwhelming, and although I forget which one was my favorite, I'm looking forward to figuring it out again. read more

I'm giving them one star because of the staff was very nice and polite, but the food had not no flavor. The only flavor I tasted was my beans and low-key my rice. I was very disappointed. I had got a fajita bowl mixed with corn Asada and chicken all condiments no flavor whatsoever. Indoor Seating is limited in this small place, so get it while you can. There are seats outside if you can stand the chill. Went on a Saturday night and it was busy. The cashier was taking care of incoming customers as well as the phone. She knew her customer base, speaking Spanish with Latinos and then switching to English with others. She was very nice and helpful. Ordered the Birria Tacos with consommé, quesadilla con carne, and a mix of tacos (tripa, cabeze, al pastor and carne asada), and a large Horchata. The Horchata hit the spot! Birria Tacos were my favorite, dipped in the consommé, on a chilly night. The Serve Yourself salsa bar had a good variety of sauces and other condiments. The Tripa (intestines) were surprisingly tasty. It was fried, so it was crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. Cabeza wa also very tender, but I didn't care for the flavor. I don't know if it was because it was towards the end of the day, but the al pastor and carne asada were tough. Service was fast, despite it being busy. Despite being disappointed with the al pastor and carne asada, the birria tacos and horchata made up for it. read more

Just moved from San Diego to Temecula. I decided to try this taco shop down the street from my new place. Coming from San Diego I wasn't sure what to expect from a taco shop in Temecula. Wow! I was so impressed. I got the local burrito. It's delicious. A must if you want to try a bomb burrito. They have a great menu and it's a very nice and clean spot! This was the 3rd and final order from Los Tacos. We placed an order for 1 burrito tradicional pollo asada, 1 dos amores burrito with a side of chips and a grande basket of chips. We were told the order would be delivered within 30 minutes, wrong it took an hour and that was Los Tacos fault. The basket of grande chips turned out to be a few stale chips (and I mean only a few) at a cost of $5.40. The $14.25 dos amores burrito turned out to be a flour rolled taco. It was a joke... As for the pollo asado burrito. My wife took a couple bites and said I have to order something different - it was that bad. This place was actually pretty damn good when we first tried it back in 2018. Now we live in the area and it could be the worst of all the taco shops we have visited. Save your money and go some place else. This was their third strike. They are no longer an option for us. read more
