Enjoyed breakfast tacos from this place. Over a period of two days, had a mix of the options available. The order was custom made quickly and correctly! I appreciated that they marked the tacos so that we weren't guessing as to the type. Tried the machacado and egg, nopales and egg, potato/egg/bacon/beans. The machacado was my favorite, but the potato egg combo was very good as the bacon was thick cut. I will need to try their happy hour menu next time. read more

We were so disappointed with this Mexican food, after hearing and reading about how good it is. NOT! Sauces so bland and no spice. Nothing special about chips. Fajita meat and fixings and queso and guacamole not good. Everything bland and not seasoned. Only good thing to say is the people working there were very nice except that we were stared at by one of the guy waiters the whole time we were there. read more

Went here today for Cinco de Mayo with my niece and great nephew. The happy hour food was delicious! We had the taquitos, street tacos, bean and cheese nachos, and queso along with margaritas. We had our holiday Xmas party here yesterday. They have a lovely outdoor seating area. Luckily the rain stopped as the inside space would not have accommodated us. It's pretty small. The waitstaff was super friendly! They kept bringing out apps, queso, and flautas. There was more food than we could eat! I also must let everyone know that I won the ugly sweater contest AGAIN. We decided to give this place a try since the management and menu has changed. The chips and salsa were good. I enjoyed my $6 frozen margarita from the HH menu. I had the chicken verde and it was delicious. Others had nachos, queso and shrimp mexicana. Service was good. Interior is rather plain. read more

The menu had great options for my kids and husband that don't like spicy Mexican food, while I had plenty to choose from to get my algo picoso fix. The service was good, very friendly and welcoming. It was a slow morning so there weren't many patrons in the restaurant, but I loved the playlist (Mana! And others) that took me back home to El Paso. Would have loved to watch futbol instead of tennis on the tv, but that's not a big deal. We will be back again! read more

Maria and her sister, Mariaela, i've created a wonderful authentic Mexican restaurant. The chips are amazing. The green jalapeño salsa is to die for. My fajitas were so hot. I had to have them pull off. They were well marinated and seasoned. My wife had the chicken today and it was delicious. If you haven't eaten here yet, you need to come! This is a relatively new little restaurant tucked away on the corner of the strip center at 360 and 2222. I've tried three times now and I'm definitely impressed. It's bright and clean inside with a cute patio area just outside under beautiful oak trees. I'm looking forward to warmer weather to enjoy the outside. Prices are a little high for Tex-mex, but definitely worth it. The breakfast tacos are big and generously filled. They have both caldo de rez and pollo and both are delicious. The pollo actually had too much chicken for me, but I like to enjoy the veggies. They make their own corn tortillas that are a bit dry but have a good corn taste. Service is good if the place isn't too busy. Bennie is friendly and efficient and remembered me after my first visit. A little Spanish is helpful but definitely not required. And the salsa is nice and spicy. read more

Amazing experience! I saw a post on instagram that a new location of Los Pinos Jalisco was opening, and I knew I had to go try it. They did not disappoint. The location is out west, perfect if you are coming back from a long day at Travis lake. They have a patio with nice coverage too. We ordered a beef fajita torta, a machacado and nopales breakfast taco on corn (homemade and delicious), the mini tacos with pastor and beef, and some birria tacos that the owner recommended. The breakfast and birria tacos were to die for. Amazing taste, the birria was better than the one they serve in Guadalajara. Very impressed, definitely coming back for more. So happy we chose this restaurant to try out today! read more

Had my first experience at Los Pinos 360 yesterday and believe that I have found a true gem of a Tex Mex restaurant. I started with the basics - cheese enchiladas with chile con carne. They were some of the best I've had in Austin having lived here since 1985. I thought they were better than Enchiladas Y Mas, Eldorado Cafe and Cruzteca, which are still among my favorites. The rice and frijoles were terrific as well. I highly recommend your trying thia place. Out and then you can decide for yourself. They have done an amazing job outside and makes enjoying their tasty happy hour - quintessential! The interior is simple, clean, and service is fast. The Parrillada Mixta is a mountain of flank steak, char grilled chicken, sausage, chorizo and grilled shrimp. Topped with succulent onions and peppers. The margaritas are fresh and vibrant. Popped by for happy hour, and it was HAPPY! Was busy, but not overwhelming. Great outdoor area that is split in 2, so its both kid and adult friendly! We only stopped by for drinks and had a variety of their marg, poloma and a mexican martini concotion. The service matched the greatness of the drinks, really fantastic combo! Super friendly and engaged service who made great recommendations and watched our drink levels to make sure they never got too low. Highly recommended new local happy hour spot! Being from California, I have been searching hard to find the unique flavors I was accustomed to. This place nailed it! I was happily surprised by the deliciousness of my loaded Chili Con Queso appetizer and Birria lunch plate. And, for dessert, coffee and Sopapillas. The sauce from the shrimp borrachos should be it's own appetizer dip. Kids enjoyed the kids menu and it was nice to sit outside under twinkle lights and a beautiful Oak tree. Great experience. Excellent Food and great service! Best Salsa I've had in town, and honestly the best burrito I've had also. I ordered a Shrimp burrito and added steak, with all the fixings inside. It was phenomenal. This place is under new ownership. Give them a try and support this local business. They told me me they have Happy Hour daily from 3-6:30pm, and I'll definitely be back for that. Not a great experience, food was terrible. The tortillas were rock solid, tacos were very bland. Nothing tasted fresh, including the guacamole. They recently opened so that might have something to do with it. Too many nearby restaurants at a similar price point to try again. read more

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon as I've been wanting to try this place. I ordered take out. The lady up front raved about the tortas (pork) so I ordered. It came with fries. I got home 20 mins later and couldn't believe what I had ordered when i opened the box. It was a smashed, burnt sandwich and a lump of cold fries stuck together that just crumbled when pulling apart. There was an abundance of mayo on the sandwich and hardly any pork, just little bits and pieces. To spend $14 (or any amount) on this is beyond disappointing...especially given I ordered one for my husband too. Needless to say, I will not be returning and do not recommend. I truly hope this was a single oversight whoever put it together. read more

I've been there twice and had the birria tacos (barbacoa-beef tacos with a cup of spicy broth for dipping) and the pozole, a hearty pork stew, and both were excellent.
