I have NEVER seen a Chile Relleno cooked in a bowl of Tabasco sauce and soaked soaked in it. The beans and rice were so soggy and tasted like something from a can brought at the 99 cent store from 10 years ago. Thank god I had heart burn pills handy. I felt like I was on Episode of Chief Gordon Ramsay, worse restaurant in Texas version. We ate here two weeks ago and the food was ok. Went here for lunch, quite a good size crowd when I walked in. Sat in a booth, got chips delivered real quick, my drink order came next and was done just as fast and then ordered our entrees. One fish tacos and a burrito. The fish tacos were the best she's had and same as charro beans. They were good. The burrito came, covered in cheese, and was just as delicious. I'll be back. Great food and service with fair prices. This place has a great atmosphere if you are looking for something with a more intimate setting to carry on conversation over a meal. The servers are very attentive and they have lunch menu w/ specials going on 7 days a week. The beer is cold and the food is fresh and hot, nice place to stop in if you are on Louetta Road. The place is slightly unwelcoming to big groups, upon ordering a drink I was carded a total of 3 times because my 21st was a month ago. Had two mojitos and my friend had a margarita and we can both say that this place isn't the place to drink since both our drinks didn't taste like there was any alcohol in it. Ate here with my son, wife and best friend. This is the 5th time eating here. Ordered the nachos, way too much cheese. Nachos tasted stale: my sons taco was way to hot on the inside, burnt his mouth biting into the taco. I went with my family Saturday August 13 2016 @ 6:00pm. The food was horrible. The top shelf margaritas made with orange juice. I tries the Los Generals plate for $32.99 the quail didn't taste like it was freshly made, it tasted like it was made prior days. Chicken poblano & shrimp bruschetta was burnt. I ordered ground beef enchilada for my kids & they gave me steak enchilada. The manager change it to a cheese enchilada still my kids didn't eat it (reminding my children love enchiladas). Great margaritas, chips, salsa, friendly staff, great service, inexpensive, all the things you expect from a Mexican Restaurant in Houston. But best of all.. the Fish Taco's are freeking fantastic.
