Beef fajita meat with cheese enchiladas (paid $1.99 for flour tortillas instead of corn).
    Ms. Wong ..

Soldi 3 stars and would even give it a 3.75 if I could. Good food. Great portion size. Service was good. Lots of tables inside and plenty of parking outside. I do believe they have outside seating when the weather permits. The meat was well cooked and flavorful. The salsa and chips they serve when you arrive are tasty. We paid extra for flour tortillas for our enchilada because my parents don't like corn tortilla. It was $1.99. I did ask when we ordered for our drinks to be put in a to go cup since I wanted to take it home instead of drink it there. They did charge for the cups. The drink was included in the lunch special price of $11.99. Some of the lunch specials came with two items which is great for when you can't decide what you want. My Guisada and enchiladas also came with a side of tortillas. I could choose between corn and flour. They had a napkin dispenser at the table which is nice so that we didn't have to call the waitress over for more. It was a comfortable dining experience. We will come back to eat again. They do charge $1+ for credit card so I advise you to pay in cash.

I'm very grateful that they accommodated my large family well. Also, the live music was a great time and we were entertained. However, the food was not it. My quesadillas had so much cheese that it was overbearing. I may be back if my family needs another large accommodation but that would be the only reason.

    Side pancakes with the omelet

This amazing little place has been around in my life for years. I have no idea why I didn't review it sooner except. It was here before Yelp, and I just never did. Please forgive my lapse in getting it done sooner! The authentic Mexican food is not spicy but very real. Good homemade ingredients that melt in your mouth as you take your first bite! The tortillas literally melt in your mouth. The bacon is thick and flavorful. The pancakes are light and fluffy, like the omelets. The menudo is just spicy enough and comes with all the sides and fixings you could want. The tea is just sweet enough. Today, I ate the M3 Monster Taco. I could only eat the one taco. This has a tortilla filled with beans, eggs, bacon, and cheese. The friend I went to breakfast with had the bacon omelet and the pancakes. The food was fabulous and piping hot! Came with green salsa and, of course, pancake syrup. For the evening crowd there are drinks and the normal fare to eat in tue evening time. I have usually only gone here for breakfast. The inside of the restaurant is slightly dark, but that is part of the ambiance of the location. It has servers who literally have been there for years. For some reason, Yelp can not process the pictures I took today. I will try to get them uploaded as soon as I can.

Cheese enchiladas with bean and cheese chalupa

The food is always consistently good. They have the best puffy tacos. Today I was craving cheese enchiladas I asked for onions on my enchiladas. They were scrumptious. Bean and cheese chalupa was tasty. The place always has a nice lunch crowd. Restrooms are always clean! If you have ever been here you need to try it.

Buenos......Gracias por tener el espaciales con soda., estoy buscando por mi hijo que es autista y rellenar una sola vez. . Service: muy amables y con sonrisa. Ambiance : normal necesita música. Se extraña

Don't order eggs added to your plate. I understand the $1.50 extra egg charge but $6 extra is ridiculous.

Ridiculous to add $6 extra for eggs. I can understand the 1.50 extra but come on. We all are paying more but don't abuse the situation.

We really enjoy this place. There has been some changes over the years. Some good changes, some not so good. I made it out here for lunch one day, and was really surprised by the size of the plates that we were being served. So we decided to come for dinner, we got to sit down fairly quickly, even though they were busy. I ordered a michelada, which was okay, I've had better. Also ordered a sweet and unsweetened tea, and a water. Chips and salsa came to the table before the drinks. Staff is friendly and attentive. I ordered my to go plate, the Madero. Two cheese enchiladas with rice and beans, and a side of beef fajitas. My favorite, unfortunately when the plate came, the only thing that was hot, was the plate, the rice and the beans, the rest was cold. So I didn't eat the enchiladas and the fajitas . Maria had the green enchiladas, with chicken inside, with rice and beans. Her meal was nice and hot. And very tasty. Yum. She shared with me, cause I didn't eat my food. Eric got the Santa Anna plate, and unfortunately, his plate was similar to my plate, his enchiladas and fajitas were cold. He did eat his puffy taco and his chalupa. Liz had the quesadilla with asada meat. This quesadilla was huge, her food was nice and hot, and she let me have a slice of her quesadilla. It was very tasty. The only thing I didn't like about it was, that they use meat with a lot of fat still on the meat, and when you have to chew the meat like chewing gum, it not fun. The cheese made this quesadilla taste good. So we let the wait staff know about our meals being cold, so the Alex the manager came over, apologized and made our plates over, but to go, nice and hot. He also gave us a discount on our meal. We will still come back, one of the good things that changed was that the plates are huge. Not like other places that have downsized everything.

    enjoying the food!

Good food. Lunch specials are worth the price. Breakfast tacos are good but on ocasión they do skimp on them.

About 20 mins after getting there it started filling up, and by the time I left, around 5:30, they were about 2/3 filled! So, make reservations if you can, this seems to be a popular place! Service was pretty good... We sat in the couch/lounge area next to the bar and went to the bar for our drinks. They have a decent happy hour, which we took advantage of. We ordered chips and salsa ($1.99) they came quickly. The salsa was tasty and not too spicy. I had Shrimp Nachos. There were plenty of them, lots of cheese and the guacamole was excellent, not a lot of stuff added to it. My husband had Carne Asada. It came with beans, tortillas and cheese enchilada. When he asked about barracho beans, Anthony brought them right away. The ice tea was strong and tasty and he kept our glasses filled. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The building is new. It's very open with high ceilings, lots of windows and cement floors. There was plenty of outdoor seating. There were only a few parking spaces by the entrance. There was free parking on nearby side streets or paid parking in lots behind the restaurant. We would definitely go back when in San Antonio again. The drink menu looked fun! And they have a rooftop bar.

I didn't need extra fat from avocado after the corn cakes since it doesn't add much flavor to the dish. The corn cakes are good and I will order again but not as good as some other cornbread. It came with 2 cakes. One was undercooked and one has a crispy crust. The undercooked one was my favorite. It is more moist with soft in the middle. Tuna Al Pastor has a kick but nothing special. Tres Leches was beautiful. 4/5. I like the fresh fruits to cut down the sweetness. The cake was a bit in the dense side. The icing on top was thick. I wish it was a fluffy whip cream to cut down from all the sweetness. Overall it's still a better tres leches than other places in the area.

We sat on the back patio for dinner on a day when it was 100 degrees out and there were fans all over to help keep the air flowing, which helped immensely. They have some interesting cocktails, such as their jalapeño cucumber margarita which is made with ghost pepper infused tequila. Their salsa tray is nice too, they have 4 to select from and you get three in this appetizer, but we ordered the 4th as well and all were pretty nicely done. The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. Save room for dessert, they have amazing churros! Overall, this was a decent visit. Service was nice too. I'd recommend stopping in.
