To start they completely messed up our order. We ordered a taco salad no onion and two cheese enchiladas no onion. When we received the food they gave us nachos with onions and the enchiladas were bland and just gross. Will not be eating there again. read more

(Although they have restaurants around the east valley, this one is my favorite) One of the best Carne Asada Burritos you will find Senior taco and filibertos will satisfy the crave in a pinch, but Los Favoritos will truly satisfy. After a grueling workout at the gym we were starving on our drive back home and spotted this little Mexican restaurant tucked in a bit back from the road. Hubby quickly pulled into the parking lot. It's super small inside. Pretty much a food-to-good type place. Just 2-3 two chair tables in fairly tight space. They offer lots of yummy options. Even serve breakfast burritos all day! And their burritos are huge!!! Hubby always orders the same things where ever we might go. Boring. I always like to try different things. I mean who knows, other wise you may be missing out on something you turn out to absolutely love. Hubby gets the chicken burrito. Again, burritos are huge! But filled with shredded seasoned chicken, which isn't a bad thing, unless you like your burritos with a bit of some other tasty foods tucked inside. Like Mexican rice, lettuce, shredded cheese and such. Now don't get me wrong, the chicken is tender, juicy and full of flavor. Just want to be clear that that's all that's rolled up in this burrito. Once hubby ordered the bacon and egg burrito (What?! Surprise! I guess he decided to mix it up a bit). Anyhoo, this burrito did not disappoint by any means. Very good Mexican. I had the Carne Assad's burrito. Best one I have ever had. Ground the steak up the way I like it. Also chips and salsa was spot on. Place has about 5 tables inside and two outside. Probably best for take out like the locals do but I ate inside and it was pleasant. Will defiantly come back for the Chorizo breakfast. read more

We used to eat at the other Los Favoritos located on Gilbert Rd. in Chandler all the time when we lived in the area. After moving to Apache Junction one year ago we were so excited to find another Los Favoritos close by. This establishment is hit or miss from the quality of their food to the service you receive. One thing that is important to note is that if you don't like re-fried beans don't eat their. They like to put beans into everything they make even when you ask them to not add them. I went there after reading the Yelp reviews and because it was only a few minutes away from my families condo! I had the Carnitas and Fish taco one day and a Chorizo breakfast burrito the other day. All were really yummy and the ladies working there were very nice! If you're in the area it's worth a try and it's cheap. They also serve the breakfast burritos all day, a plus! read more

There are other taco shops to eat at in AJ/East Mesa, but none are as affordable or have as much character as Los Favs. The California burrito is cheaper and far superior than at other shops. Chicken tacos as well. Get some green sauce and dig in! read more

This place was good. I had a Super Vegetarian Burrito with potatoes and it was good. Could've had a bit more beans, but that's ok, Since a Vegetarian Burrito didn't normally come with potatoes. Burrito was $4.37. Good cheap eats. I'd return for sure. read more

I am absolutely disgusted by a post here by Valerie B. I go to this restaurant as a "GRINGO" quite often and cant believe she would display her narrow mindedness on the internet. The cashier at Los Favorites happens to be one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I wish black hearted people would stop displaying literary diarrhea online and reflecting thier own prejudices. Every time im in Apache Junction I choose to stop by this restaurant. Not only is the food seasoned better than any "bertos" but the service is always spot on. I have been going here for more years than I care to admit and it only gets better with employees like her. It's OK. I went there for lunch with coworkers. I was a little annoyed that we all ordered similar things and added Sour Cream, however, I was the only one charged for it, after I ran my debit card so I used change to pay. When we sat down to eat, everyone who had not been charged extra had sour cream and I did not. Only non Spanish speaking person... Just saying. Yes this place is forsure on a top of the list of places to go and have a great food and a fast style that is fresh as you order it, it is in that that you will then just be more able then to have a blessing of hard work and well a team work that is life in a plate of food that is going to be a means to take a road trip and have this place make lunch and be able to see the world of the life of the desert, not in the city; as this is one of many places that have some food that will bring you on a path of finding the means to go about your day and maybe have this be a place that goes on your to go to next, getting rotation on; by well, you can even call it in abd the pick it up and go have a picnic. Sounds like a very nice day and a day worth spending being able to find time to enjoy life in the out side world or even maybe just have this be a pit stop of your drive that you take and learn the area of the superstition and maybe even climb this Superstition Mountain, we'll hike it, tell you get to the very top, you have to climb up about about a 10ish, foot climb, I don't know about the size just it's something to think about, being able to see the view that can be the topper of well a well put together meal that will be food that is sure to be a fav. read more

Not impressed with this location. There was no ice in the ice machine. There were no napkins, nor were any given to me when they gave me my food. I ordered super nachos and there was nothing super about it. There was hardly any carne asada in my nachos. Very disappointed! I won't be coming back to this location.
