After recently returning to Florence I had the opportunity to give this bar a try and was blown away by the nightlife and attention to detail with each shot. There are 3 components to Ebys- the Latin food bar across the street, the Ebys bar, and the shot window located near the bar and outdoor seating. There is usually a long line while everyone waits for the owner to hand-craft a specialty shot. We ordered the Mexicano shot and were blown away by his attention to detail. Just when we thought it was over, he pulled out an additional ingredient. There's almost a layer of comedy to how elaborate these shots are. He also explained to us that before taking the shots we have to do a little bow, bite the apple, and then take the shot. So fun! Definitely one of a kind.
