While in town for work I received a few suggestions from some co workers and this was one of the…read moreplaces to try. Is it knock it out the park amazing... no, but also it's not a 1 star like many have given it. I have to say what would have made this a 5 star was if the chicken would have been a little moist n a bit more seasoning. I did a double rice double protein half chicken half steak bowl. There's reviews on poor service and I do have to say service - 5 stars. The team tonight looked like they were working very smoothly together, and were communicating very well with each other that made the line move pretty quickly. While I did not try the tortillas, I did notice them being pressed n cooked right in front which I think definitely makes it stand out a bit more than a traditional chipotle per se. I would come back to Pancheros.

I was looking for something small to tide myself over for supper as I left work a little early…read more Mission accomplished on the small part! I was overall confused by the way the menu is displayed. From what I can tell, you need to know what you want going in or you are just going to make stabs in the dark, or maybe that's by design. So I figured two tacos would be the simplest way to go, should be pretty straight forward, right? Menu said $7.50 for those. I thought, well with a drink i shouldn't break $10. Come to find out there are upcharges to add toppings, I believe. Toppings were applied in teaspoon quantity. Was told there were no small cups so I would have to do a large. Wish I would have kept the receipt because that large diet coke must have been around $4.00 if my theory on upcharges for toppings is incorrect. If it's the fountain pop, is that really that hard and expensive to make? Just trying to figure out how the gap bridges from $7.50 to to the final price tag. Again, I thought I would be in the $10 dollar zone. Nope, $13.40 with a sizeable tip suggested. So with a tip I'm into it up to $16+ dollars. I guess this would have been a little easier to accept if the tacos weren't the size of tootsie rolls! I wondered if there was anything in the bag on my way to the table. I found the foil wrapper was rolled into both tacos, still scratching my head on how this can be done. Diet coke is the only diet choice. Tables were filthy at this location. If you plan to throw anything away be prepared to force it through the small hole in the cover over the overfilled trash can, therefore getting other peoples trash on your hands unless you just leave it on the top of the surface with said hole.. Trash also overflowing the trash hole by the sauce. Not sure why but I echo the other reviews, everyone exudes the vibe that they would rather be in hell than making food here. Why? It is absolutely palpable. Also the lack of attention to tables and trash cans does NOT inspire confidence on a clean kitchen. Sauce situation is confusing. A bunch of bottles by the fountain pop. Am I supposed to unwrap everything right there and sauce it while people wait behind me? Or do i grab a bottle and take it to a table? I saw one person do it that way. If thats how to do it why not just put them on the tables? Sauce bottles were all sticky fingered and gross. I mean, a pump bottle of each sauce would be easier and more hygenic, no? Or even packets, people. The food itself tasted good. And if it was scaled up to an adult sized taco and not something that seems like it should be on the kid's menu, I would probably go up a half star. I just get the vibe that you are being pulled in at one price and upcharged by a considerable percentage by the time you leave. Taco Bell shows you clearly what you are getting and how much it will cost. And the portions are not tiny while paying about half of what you get here. You have good bathrooms from what I can see. If the rest of the place could come up to that level you might be on to something.

I dont think it was too bad as he didnt mention anything after that. Price wise, you are looking at $12 to 20+ for lunch depending on what you are looking for. The drake specializes in bbq type items, and they used to have duck and similar game-type items which is where i think the name of the restaurant came from. When you go by there is usually a smokey smell coming out. I got the chicken hoagie that has buffalo chicken and peppers, onions etc. I probably would have gone for a burger but didnt see a lot of options other than the angus which seemed pretty high. I went with baked beans and blue cheese dressing. The wait for the food seems normal for a sit down place. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. The blue cheese dressing was the bomb. Big chunks of cheese, which couldnt have been out of a bottle thats for sure. Beans were good and sandwich was fresh and good. The only thing i would critique is the chicken could have been a little crispier, but when the chicken is in buffalo sauce, that is going to reduce the crispiness automatically so kind of the nature of the beast. The waitress did a good job of getting us the bill and taken care of there. If they could maybe get the price down a little and incorporate some more burger options, that might be a way to pump up business a little more. Didnt use the bathroom but based on overall cleanliness I saw, I bet they were fine.

I paid in cash and I had to ask for my change 3 times, everyone else from my party was waiting outside at that point. They didn't bring me change in fives/ones, so I was forced to either tip my waitress 40% or $1. Because it took so long for them to take our order, they not half of us were able to get the happy hour drinks.
