I'll keep editing as our food comes Free fresh hot table chips, thin but crispy and sturdy. Salsa is medium heat. Guacamole could use a little work but isn't bad. I ordered the "K. Combo" and it consisted of four items though the chalupa is really just a tostada. And I asked about it and he confirmed the tostada thing was in fact their Chalupa. Kinda disappointing. The enchilada and taco sauce tastes canned not made in house. The ground beef flavor and texture was very good. Wife's chimichanga was merely okay. The guac, ground beef, and hot chips were my favorite. Some of the chairs are garbage. I likely won't return because of how many Mexican restaurants are around and you can easily (should be able to? hopefully) do better. 3.25

I met a few friends here for dinner. Two people I used to work with and on creepy crawly fellow we named Roger. The California burrito was HUGE filling and good. With the exception of Roger, an unwanted interloper, it was a good evening. Food was good, reasonable prices, they do get busy!

I love the soft tacos. Soft tacos are the best tacos in the world. They are good because the texture is great and the flavor is just great.

The food was really great! So great I didn't even get a chance to take pics of the apps. Our server was fantastic. He was very eager to give us service with a smile. He explained the menu thoroughly because it's intense. The restaurant had such a happy atmosphere. We were greeted with smiles as we walked in the door. I will say thé Chorizqueso dip was so good. The Guacamole was fresh. The Salsa was spot on and the authentic chips were HoT! If you visit this restaurant, bring your appetite because the portions are huge. And don't forget to order the Guacamole

This is our 2nd time here, the 1st time we were with a group of people and I couldn't remember what the food was like so we went again, just the 2 of us. The food was delicious and plenty. I love the fresh seasoning they use. The chips were only luke warm wish they would have hotter. The server was nice and attentive

Stopped in for dinner and was greeted warmly and led to a table. This location has had several aliases and so I was curious to see the latest rendition. They have done a nice job of freshening up the inside and created a number of semi private eating spaces which is a plus as the previous open seating "cafeteria" style layout was loud and made table conversation difficult. So, kudos for that. The prices are also reasonable and in line with other Tex-Mex restaurants in the area. The food? It was solidly good without being great. Beef taco, Beef enchilada, Beef and bean burrito. The taco needed some help in the presentation area. The burrito and enchilada were plated separately and were smothered/drenched in a tomato based sauce and it was too much. The burrito was a little doughy. So I didn't eat it. And these too could have been helped by the presentation. I think all of these things are fixable and I wish them the best.

Ok I would first like to say that the choriqueso is the best I've had anywhere, EVER. This reason alone is enough reason to give this business your money. And I bet you're wondering where the beautiful picture of it is. Well...there isn't one because my boyfriend and I were so excited to eat it that it was gone before I could think to snap a pic! But let me tell you. Their chorizo queso is LOADED down with fresh vegetables (mainly onions) and fresh meaty chorizo. It even comes with four, warm tortillas that you can load down with the sloppy cheesy goodness. Another perk of this restaurant: reasonably priced margaritas! And - they were very good! Not too strong but don't worry there is definitely a kick. I ordered the asada burrito and it was pretty tasty. My boyfriend got the O combination platter and it was sooo much food for the price (which was around $13). We both came home with leftovers for the next day. The waitstaff was super lovely. Shoutout to the girl that complimented my hair. I have absolutely no critiques for this place. The takeaway: if you are in Slidell and want Mexican food, choose this place. It's really great for a lot of reasons (but especially for their chorizo queso)

New Location: Gorgeous. Large. Clean from what i can tell. I…read morego every other week. But - staff badly needs service industry training including manager/owner. They are nice, but clueless. Inattentive. Food is very decent. Good complimentary salsa & charbroiled beans with chips. Sometimes chips taste burnt oil. Go for taco Tuesday a lot. Have bands & $1.50 street tacos if order minimum 4. They're good. Only Taco Tuesday deal on tacos in Slidell I've found besides Tacos & Beer (ew) $1 tacos. Drinks are overpriced. Cocktail/beer menu not detailed enough with prices or ingredient description. Margaritas 2 for 1 sometimes and on taco Tuesday BUT they are cheap syrup instead of lime juice. Then barely shaken or cold. I disliked frozen and regular. Servers aren't trained well or familiar with menu or prices so you're on your own as far as familiarizing yourself with any specials and advocating for drinks refills or literally anything else you need. Double check your bill before you pay ive been given wrong ticket for another table multiple times. They also have issues honoring Toast loyalty program with points you build up. If server cant figure it out, ask for manager... who is capable of figuring it out but doesnt want to comp you coupons if the machine doesnt do it automatically. If anyone wants vegetarian options aka grilled veggoes or something be prepared for them to completely upcharge that more than the price of meat for a few skimpy onions... no sizzling fajita veggie selection like other places. Also, always out of the tajín and candy for micheladas. Always forget the pineapples that are supposed to come on al pastor tacos. Just ask for it. PS also good $ deal on the street tacos on uber eats & door dash compared to other places. Birthdays get complimentary scoop of ice cream and singing with decorative accessories worn by servers and sombrero for you. Old Location: New Place. First time there. Staff friendly & quick even though only 2 people were front of house. About 8 tables full at a time on Wednesday night.. Ambience cute for small space, nicely decorated inside & out. Food, horchata & michelada really good ! Food plated nicely. Birria plate on big cutting board with sauces. Churro share portion set up on cute cart. All good! Just recommend getting bottled beverage or horchata b/c tap water & fountain drinks tasted weird water.

I regret ever walking into this place. From the moment I stepped inside, it felt like the…read morerestaurant had given up on the concept of quality entirely. The tables were sticky, the music was way too loud for no reason, and the menu looked like it hadn't been updated (or cleaned) in years. The food somehow managed to be both bland and confusing at the same time. The chips were stale, the salsa tasted like watered-down tomatoes, and the tacos were so soggy they basically fell apart before I could even pick them up. I honestly don't know how something that should be simple ended up tasting this bad. It felt like the kitchen just threw random ingredients together and hoped no one would notice. Service wasn't any better. It took forever for anyone to come by our table, and when they finally did, they seemed annoyed that we were even there. Our drinks were wrong, our food took way too long, and no one checked on us after it arrived. By the end, I was mostly impressed that a restaurant could get so many things wrong at once. If you're looking for a place to test your patience and question your life choices, this might be it. Otherwise, I'd recommend literally anywhere else.

I've done here several times when visiting Slidell, restaurant has been consistently clean & provides a pleasant ambiance.
