My server, Marilyn took care of me. She was very hospitable and was a delight. I ordered tacos, enchiladas and tried their queso dip, with a side of Jamaica drink. After ordering I enjoyed some free chips n salsa (the best thing about Mexican restaurants!) The food did not take long to come out, and was hot and fresh! Everything thing tasted pretty good. The enchiladas were okay, such as seemed like it was too much tortilla. Maybe they used a thick one? The decor was pretty cool and different versus other Mexican spots. Overall, I would want to stop by again and try other things!

As well as the loaded fries. My drink was a pineapple mojito. First it was peaceful and not crowded, second immediately greeted and seated. My server was a very nice lady. Engaging and friendly. As far as my order. I would not order the tacos again, the flavor just wasn't there for me. However the surprise hit was the loaded fries. AMAZING. Seriously unexpected and absolutely delicious. I haven't found my favorite taco truck, for my beloved street tacos, yet since moving to the south.... however I'd come back ABSOLUTELY for the loaded fries and friendly service.

I had to walk all the way to the back after waiting for five minutes for someone to come to the front and when I walk to the back, noticed that the workers were sitting on their phones on the table very unprofessional way to run a business and then when I did pick up the queso, I noticed that it was very small and size compared to other restaurants to go large size queso dip, especially since it was $10. We'll be taking my business elsewhere next time absolutely love the one on Pot train though.

First time I went to Cantaritos was 3 months ago. I had Beef Fajita Nachos & flavorful refreshing Cucumber Margaritas which I'll never forget...totally amazing! I recently revisited Cantaritos since I was in town again. Once you walk in, you are immediately greeted. Once seated, complimentary homemade chips & salsa is served. Queso dip is also served complimentary on Monday & Wednesday. The chips are perfect, light & crispy. Salsa & queso are just as tasty! It was time to explore the menu, so I decided to order the Carne Asada. I gotta admit, It was the best Carne Asada I've had in a very long time. The meat was perfectly prepared, tender & full of flavor. Rice was good, but I was especially impressed with the Charro Beans....so good! I would highly recommend the Carne Asada to anyone! So after two awesome memorable dining experiences at Cantaritos, I'll be looking forward to much more visits!

We spend a lot of time eating out, and we like to try to bounce around from time to time. We recently tried Carreta's again after a few years, and honestly we have been pleased with the price point. Family of 4 consistently under $50 is rare, for us especially. Taco Tuesday hits the spot, super cheap, enjoyable for all ages. Nothing stands out, and I wouldn't tell family from out of town this is a must do, but certainly worth keeping in the Rolodex for family meal suggestions when nobody has a preference.
