Sometimes you just fall into a great experience. Four of us were in Slidell for a Cajun swamp tour and we were all hungry and thirsty post tour. We initially were going to a sports bar across the street when Whiskey and Ashe caught our eye. What a great find and experience. Spoiler alert I like cigars and bourbon and Whiskey and Ashe exceeded my expectations. They have a wall of bourbon and rye plus and additional spirits and beer for non-brown liquor drinkers. since we were the only ones in the bar our bartender took excellent care of us. We had many samples and the local Louisiana Seven Three Distillery rye was one of my favorites. If you want a smoke they have a fully stocked humidor and cigar specials. There is a very comfortable outside area with TVs. We all agreed that if Whiskey and Ashe were in our area, we would live here! Since we were ride sharing we spent the afternoon here, ordered food from next door and shared it with our bartender/bourbon guide. Plus one is now a bourbon drinker (sort of) as she was introduced to a bourbon espresso martini. Wow, it was delicious.! Our bartender, Griffin, was young but so knowledgeable and he expertly guided us through our tastings. Pro tip: If Griffin your bartender tell him the folks from Austin said he needs to tell you his apple joke. read more

Wow..... Can't even explain why the bartenders are so slow and confused. They don't seem to have any idea how to serve drinks.

Visually a beautiful lounge. Bar, Humidor and lounge all very nice and well stocked. Staff not so much. Tried to buy a cigar and waited to pay at bar but both bartenders were deep in personal conversation and ignored me. Sitting in a comfy chair next to another patron who had a few too many but was fun to talk with but messy. Ashes all over the table next to ashtray but not in, eventually bartender came by to clean and just wiped them off table onto my pants and shoes. After that I got up and left. Disappointed read more

Had a chance to drop in briefly last night to check out "the new kid in town" - and was pleased to see how well they have transformed the space into a cozy, stylish whiskey/cigar bar that adds yet another dimension to Olde Town's continuing renaissance. Great selections of premium spirits and, while I am no cigar aficionado, judging from the looks on the faces of those around me - they were pleased with what was on offer there and I look forward to sampling some of that myself very soon. Hank the bartender is a rockstar. My boyfriend LOVES whiskey and was beyond excited to come here... butttt I was reluctant. Although I love the song and want to be a "whiskey girl" I'm not. However, I think Hank won me over. He made me a strawberry-peach bourbon smash. I just learned that all bourbons are whiskey, but not all whiskeys are bourbon. Who knew Whiskey and Ashe would have a bottle of one of the best Tequilas made?!? I've never seen a bottle of Tears of Llorona in person and it was unopened so I got the first pour. The best premium drinks you can find in Slidell. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. My favorite the key lime brûlée whiskey sour. So yummy! A huge selection of cigars with a nice patio to enjoy. Checked out this place last Friday and was very impressed. Good cigar selection as well as bourbon and whiskey selection. Nice location both inside and outside. So glad they put this place in slidell, these kind of location usually are in the big cities and when you live outside of the city it perfect to be able to go to a location like this close by.
