We initially were going to a sports bar across the street when Whiskey and Ashe caught our eye. What a great find and experience. Spoiler alert I like cigars and bourbon and Whiskey and Ashe exceeded my expectations. They have a wall of bourbon and rye plus and additional spirits and beer for non-brown liquor drinkers. since we were the only ones in the bar our bartender took excellent care of us. We had many samples and the local Louisiana Seven Three Distillery rye was one of my favorites. If you want a smoke they have a fully stocked humidor and cigar specials. There is a very comfortable outside area with TVs. We all agreed that if Whiskey and Ashe were in our area, we would live here! Since we were ride sharing we spent the afternoon here, ordered food from next door and shared it with our bartender/bourbon guide.
