We were in Garden Grove on business staying at a hotel. Laundry started piling up and I just wasn't feeling like going to a coin laundromat . I found Lords Cleaners and Laundry close by and decided to give them a whirl even though some of the reviews on Yelp were trending negative but the reviews were more than a year old. I called the establishment. The person answering was helpful with providing information on their services. I went there and handed over a small load of laundry with standard items with no specialized or sensitive cloth or materials. I could have opted for one day turn around or next day service. Nice options! The establishment itself could use a remodel or update, but you can't go on "looks." The next day I received a reminder phone call that my laundry was ready for pick up. The laundry was neatly folded and stacked in a paper bag. The price was just a tad bit over what I estimated but I was very satisfied with the outcome and fresh clothes for my trip which made it worth it for me. I should mention that there is a dry cleaning service available but I did not inquire about this service. So this place is not spiffy or modernized. But I respect that this is a family run business and they know what they're doing. I would strongly recommend this place for laundry and I would expect their dry cleaning to be a similar efficient service. read more

Highway Robbery!! POOR SERVICE!! Worst cleaners I've ever been to. They charged me $80 to hem 2 pair of pants Same Day Sevice. Then when I questioned the expensive rate, instead of explaining, the man took my pants into the back as to hold them hostage until I paid. I took 2 dress shirts a dress(for my mother) and a pair of pants with a special request. They told me that It would take aproximally 3 days and they would call me when done. 3 days later they didn't call so an hour before they closed to see if they finished and they stated they were done after I called. So I hear this place is pricier than other dry cleaning spots. To me, service is everything. The owner is always so pleasant to deal with. Always in a great mood and very welcoming. You can ask for faster service but I am normally never in a hurry so I that usually takes about 4 days for my clothes to be ready. I don't think that's bad at all for lead time. I brought a coat and dress shirt to get cleaned here and it cost about $16. Maybe a bit pricey? read more

I am VERY disappointed with the service provided as well as the customer service. I brought in a coat for cleaning and repairing a seam. When I picked up my coat the new seam looked uneven, my coat had hair and lint on it still. When I mentioned this to them they told me to buy a lint roller....... Isn't that there job???? I will NEVER go back to this cleaners and highly recommend you do not either. In addition I was charged $19.50 for a cleaning that was quoted at $18.80, they claimed the credit card machine could only do increments of $20....... how is $19.50, $20? I absolutely love this dry cleaners! I have been going hear for the last 2 years. Great customer service. The man that works there is very accommodating when I need urgent services. The seamstress there is amazing! She has been hemming all of my pants as well as taking in most of my blazers and dresses since I lost weight. I've read some reviews, and noticed they were negative. We flew into LAX one morning and I realized I spilled a little bit of leftover Latte onto my white polyester jacket! Took it into Lords and picked it up 3 days later all cleaned up. Yay! It took him several different cycles to clean the coffee, fat and sugar off the jacket separately but he didn't charge more. The service was quick, helpful and friendly! We flew to Cali from Pittsburgh for our destination wedding. Needless to say the trip was a little rough on my wife's wedding dress. Lords took the dress on short notice and got the job done just in time. The dress looked immaculate. They spent 2.5 hours On it and it showed. He personally walked the dress out to the car and carefully placed it so it wouldn't stop wrinkles. Talk about taking pride in your work! Outstanding service, I would definitely recommend using Lords Cleaners. We are in town for a national pageant that my daughter is competing in. Since we had to fly here we could not bring our steamer to remove the wrinkles in her formalwear gown that were created during our travels. I called in the morning and they had the dress ready for us a few hours later. The employees were very helpful and friendly and were concerned about our satisfaction.
