Elvira and her husband are truly some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and they run their business with so much care it shows in every piece they touch. Their work? Flawless. Clothes come back looking crisp, clean, and honestly better than when I dropped them off. No weird chemical smell, no shortcuts, no "good enough"--they actually take pride in what they do, and it's obvious. At this point, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my clothes. I am so happy I found Candy Cane Cleaners! I had just bought two dresses for my daughter and when I called to see how early they would be able to shorten them for her they told me within 3 days. So we rushed over and met Elvira who was the sweetest! She quickly measured the two dresses and told us they would be ready before 5pm on Wednesday. Today is Monday. Perfect! I don't live in the area but my daughter does and I'm happy to know that she has a great Dry Cleaners AND a wonderful seamstress nearby! Definitely try Candy Cane! It's a family owned small business and these days it's very hard to find an honest, reliable and affordable Dry Cleaners that also offers alterations. Very expensive! For being in a small, lower income area, this cleaners is expensive... 1 jacket they were charging me $12. They don't have a price list and it took forever for her to find my jackets. I would not be returning. They probably charge what they feel like so I'm not sure how they are operating business. read more

Great Customer Service! I have been bringing my uniforms and clothes with Candy Cane since 2021 and it's always ready when I need it. I've live in garden grove since 1992 that's close to 20 years already! and I remember seeing this cleaners next to Domino's in the plaza that also includes Winchell's and vons. This is my first time actually doing a dry clean. I Dry clean a Express Wool Vest and it cost only $3.50 for a one day turn around. Thats awesome pricing and the quality of the cleaning is professional level. The dry cleaner is an older fellow and so is his machines that he uses to dry clean items. I've been shopping at Von's for years and I finally realized there was a cleaners in that plaza. I decided to try them out since it's close to my home. I went in to get my two pairs of designer jeans hemmed. I was happy to see a changing booth in the corner so I can show the lady the exact length I wanted. I told her I wanted original stitching done and a week later, it was ready for pick up. I was very impressed with the work, seeing that they were expensive jeans, I was really picky about it. A few months later, I wanted one of the jeans an inch longer and so I took it back along with other pants to be hemmed. She was also able to convert flared jeans and make it nearly straight legged. And it was a superb job! They really take great care of garments and the owners are super nice. read more

I have been coming here for about 12 years on and off. I used it when I'm living in the area and my property less than a mile away. This cleaners was the best when the original owners were working the front desk. Now that they hired The stuff to work the front desk it is completely unorganized. Any time that I order anything it's not done when it supposed to which means trips there for no reason and also getting alterations takes at least four weeks when they say it'll take a week. They are super super nice and friendly but The last five months I have made me realize I need to find a new dry cleaner. I'm really sad that the original owners are not there anymore because they were the loveliest people in the world. If you come here it just know that nothing will be done when you really really need it so you need to make very certain that this is an emergency and you need it. Also make sure when doing the alterations you give them a deadline. Otherwise skipping months before you get it. read more

This family ran business is a gem. Our entire family brings their clothes here for one simple reason. Quality Service. Most of the time they have our clothes ready within 24 hours. They've even had something ready for me same day. They're prices are extremely reasonable and will sometimes knock off a couple bucks off of the total. I just recieved a beautiful light colored coat for Christmas and I wanted it drycleaned asap so I can wear it. This place got some decent reviews so I decided to try it. I took 3 coats, a blouse and pants. I walked in, looked like any other cleaners, an older man was there. I was straight to the point he gave me a ticket said today is Wednesday so pick up Saturday. Ok fair enough, I wasn't in a huge hurry. The day came I picked it up and it came out to a little less than 40 bucks. Not too bad in price. I glanced at all the clothes and it seemed good. So I took them home. However, when I got home I noticed two brown stains on the right arm part of my new coat. I knew that was not there before so I took it back. It was really annoying but the guy was nice and so was the lady who was dressed all fancy. He apologized and did it free of charge. I picked it up the following Tuesday and assumed it was taken care of, but I was wrong! Not only was that stain still there, the area of the stain appeared to have been so badly rubbed the fabric was now sparse and ruined! To add to the frustration when I checked my other coat (it was technically a blouse which he charged me as a coat but whatever) it had what looked like water drop marks all over it. Seriously?! Now keep in mind I have not worn either of these clothes. So now I have to take them somewhere else and hope and pray it can be fixed. Never going here again, very upset for the ruined clothes, money spent, gas and my valuable time wasted. One star for being nice but nice doesn' t fix my clothes. I highly recommend this place! I brought my wedding dress to Candy Cane Cleaners after a night of dancing at my outdoor wedding. The bottom of the dress was filthy and I was sure that the stains could not be removed, but Candy Cane got it done! My wedding dress looked as if I had never worn it. I was so impressed with the outcome of my garment, and also with the customer service. The couple that runs it was extremely warm, timely, and professional. Located in the Vons shopping center next to Domino's. They have done a good job with my business wear, and I've never encountered any delays or lost articles. They will do alterations as well; I had a pair of lined suit pants hemmed up the other day and they did a wonderful job. They didn't have any problems when I've asked if they could sew a few buttons back on one of my coats either. A tad on the pricey side, but the family always treats me and my clothes with care. read more

I recently went here to get my graduation gown dry cleaned. They were very quick, not busy so I was helped right away. I was told my gown would be ready in two days. It was ready and looked great. I brought my business here and was initially satisfied but they ruined one of my shirts and melted the button as well as there was a slight blue discoloration. They did not take any responsibility and blamed it on the shirt manufacture when they were the ones that ruined it!!! I don't recommend them they we rude and did not bother to help me. I have been going to this cleaners for a few years. Fine service, until I brought in my drapes... I asked multiple times to make sure they were going to be dry cleaned, per instructions on the label. Pick them up a few days later and find that they washed and had shrank 3 inches! I took them back and they stretched them. Got 1/2 inch back... Took and and stretched again... Another half inch... They just lost a customer who comes in and spend money every week to there mistake that they cannot fix... read more

this place is the wortst took ,my $500 dress i only wore one time and when i got it back it was super dirt with hair everywhere ripped and the fur was burned. my other jump suit was cut with scissors on the bottom like it was done on purpase. i do not recommend anyone going there. they are rud and they dont do a good job. now i am taking them to small claims because they really did a horrible job and that dress was to expensive for me to just let it go. read more
