Incredible food options, one of the most beautiful low-key bars in the area, and live music that actually fits the room. On any given night, you might be sipping Johnny Blue with expertly crafted sushi (trained by a local master) while the person next to you is enjoying a Michelob Ultra and a slice from the legendary Sal's Pizza--and it all just works. Think upscale Cheers. The service is a huge part of the magic. Bartender David is phenomenal--attentive, friendly, and somehow remembers what you like. Ray, the manager, keeps everything running smoothly and effortlessly, while owner Mico is always present, setting the tone and making sure the place feels genuinely cared for. Bonus: local artist Robin Lore hosts an open mic night every Wednesday at 7p - 10p, which perfectly captures the neighborhood vibe. More than a bar or food hall, it's a true melting pot of the neighborhood. You never know who'll walk in next. Highly recommend.

Next, bar mico is one of the coolest little lounges around. I was there on Friday and they had karaoke. It was so much fun. The host was entertaining and everyone was having a great time. I will definitely be back! If you've not been to this place, stop in, say hi and have a blast. Everyone is so nice and it's just a very unique venue. You'll love it! I know I did.

I sat there for a minute just smelling it, the jalapeños gave it such a wonderful spicy kick to it. The chicken was crispy, flavorful and so deliciously flaky, the texture was amazing, i was so shocked ! The macaroni was so good too, I've never had cold Mac but it didn't disappoint. The man was very nice and asked if we were enjoying our food, of course i couldn't answer cause i was stuffing my face with mac lol the cabbage had a tasty sauce on it and i tore it up. The chicken katsu also came either a delicious sauce. Do not pour, dip it! I tried the pork curry katsu too and that curry was so so good, I'd never had curry before and I'd come back for that alone ! The vibes were very chill, it's a chill spot, great with groups 10/10 i loved it

Service was pleasant and friendly. She took out offers and within minutes we were seated and served. I had the traditional omurice with a side of fried shrimp. Essentially a ball of rice stuffed with some veggies, protein of choice and then wrapped in an egg. That was the impressive aspect. I don't know how they did it but the egg was fried and wrapped that it almost looked like whipped cream. It was a savory and hearty meal. But I wasn't so moved as to try it again. My companions loved it. To each their own I say. But I can't take anything from it. It was a good experience.

Regardless of race, they greet you in their language, "anhyonghasaeo" which gives it more of an authentic vibe. The menu is hung above the cashier in both Korean and English language. We came during lunch hour today and they were pretty busy, though we didn't even have to wait long for the food. I grabbed a tray of their gimbal (spicy w/ anchovies) laid out in the front, I loved that it came with pickled radish and a wasabi sauce. It was everything I was craving! For only $7 there were like 10 rolls in there! As for the main entrees, I ordered the spicy pork ribs, which was so good and tender, falling off the bone! I also ordered the seafood pancake, it wasn't as crispy as other places I've tried but it was full of flavor and full of seafood! I'd take this seafood pancake over Maht gaek's any day! I also ordered the soontofu soup combo with stir fried pork. Each entree came with a side of purple rice and plenty of side dishes. Their kimchi was especially good. You can tell it's made in house, it was very fresh and delicious. Overall everything was so good, that I have no complaints about the food. I would honestly come back tomorrow

You order first at the counter then wait for the buzzer for your food. We ordered the soybean paste stew with mackerel. Our friend ordered the marinated meat with kimchi stew. Both were delicious but I think I preferred the marinated meat! There were lots of yummy banchan as well. My favorite were the marinated vegetables. The owner was super nice and friendly. Lots of parking available in this little plaza. Worth a try if you're in the area.
