Tried Taco Spot for the first time. Excellent carne asada tacos with amazing seasoning. Really enjoyed the handmade tortillas. Will certainly be back. read more

The food was really good and authentic. There were plenty of options to choose from regarding the level of spice that was added to the food and a variety of different birria based items. From tacos to noodles, there were countless combos. The service was good, it is a standard fast food location with people behind the counter and chefs in the back making the food. It's not a traditional sit down restaurant where a waitress comes over to the table and takes an order. The ambiance was a mixture of Dallas and Mexican based ideas. Mockingbird is a really busy street so the location isn't the quietest and there are TVs all around for people to watch. Check them out. read more

I wanted 20 minutes on lunch break.. to receive a taco with nothing but meat. I asked her for flour shell.. and come way that summed up to only flour and nothing else. The host handed me my food without a bag before a coworker stopped her and told her to get a bag. Overall bad experience read more

Came to this taco spot on the 12/07, I ordered the birria balls, surf & turf burrito, carne asada fries & also quesabirria tacos! total came out to 70$ well not worth the amount we paid for the birria was dry and bland nothing juicy or tender about it, the food itself looks different as to the pictures shown online , better off going to real authentic flavorful street tacos vendors !! NOT WORTH IT save your coins! read more

I just tried this spot for my first time and was wowed! I got the keto birria taco and the birria quesadilla. I expected the portion size to be much smaller than it was. Excellent portion to pricing ratio! The flavor of the birria was phenomenal! I already can't wait to go back! read more

The Taco Spot - Mockingbird - Birria quesadilla and birria keto taco - Tacos Near Me - Dallas, Texas

Cold, canned beans with rice mixed in as if it's spilled in there from serving it too quickly. The place was empty. And they literally use American cheese slices in their tacos. The meat flavor is good, but I would not call that carne asada. The starry is out in the fountain drinks so I was forced to choose between three kinds of Pepsi, lemonade, or Mountain Dew. Waste of money. read more

The only thing good about this place was the girl taking the order. It literally took 20min for 3 tacos to come out. In that time someone from the kitchen came out to take the order to the people next to us. The order was wrong so they took the food back, so when my COLD tacos - unheated tortilla came out, my shrimp tacos had pastor meat underneath. So they gave me the other tables wrong order because like the kitchen staff said "Se va a desperdiciar" read more

Not good. The rice was hard and not edible. Beans lacked flavor. Birria had no flavor. The cilantro, lime and onion saved the tacos. Not worth the price at all. read more

The worse Burrito I have ever had. Definitely not worth $14. First and foremost Patricia over the cash register cannot be trusted. I ordered a. Chicken Burrito she charged me $16.01. When I asked her for the receipt she laughed and said sorry I added 4 oz nacho cheese to your order. So then she goes and gives me money out the cash register. Then I said why did you charge me for a drink when drinks are free today it's Thursday she again had an excuse. On top of that when o get my burrito there is no CHICKEN. It's just beans, rice, cheese, and lettuce. I'm beyond pissed. My first and last time to THE TACO SPOT. I do not recommend it at all. And lastly who puts American cheese in their burritos absolutely disgusting. read more

Nice clean spacious place spot. The man had a burrito and I had 3 birria tacos with fries 2 drinks. The food was good. When walked in there were only people at about 3 of the tables. But it filled it kind of quickly. It took. A while to get our food but it wasn't too bad. The woman 2 tables away had the birria ramen and it smelled really good. She said it was tasty. I also ordered a churro but it wasn't put on the bill. So I went back up to order and pay for it. Lucky me they were bringing out a fresh batch in about 3 minutes. The guy behind the counter brought it out to me for free; which made it even more delicious. I would go back and get the burrito next time since the man got tired of me eating off of his. Or maybe try the ramen since it smelled so good. read more

A great little taco spot! Counter service was friendly and fast. Breakfast burrito hit the spot! Clean and modern interior.

Service was good Food was just okay. Needed more seasoning on the birria tacos. I might go back to try something else.

Very tasty taco's. First time here and definitely will be back. Good service, good atmosphere.

Had an amazing experience here, the manager was incredibly friendly and gave us free drinks. I got the Ramen and tacos, which was spectacular, especially when I put the lime on them. We also got the burrito and the churro, which were fantastic! Will definitely be back :) read more

I got the birria taco combo which is 3 tacos and a fountain drink. While the tacos were good I don't see myself coming back. 18 dollars for 3 tacos and a drink is alot. It's not like the tacos were big or anything. They were just regular size tacos. read more

Got 2 chicken street tacos and a carne asada burrito. Street taco was good but they only put one in my bag when I ordered 2 and it was a To-go order and by the time I got back it wasn't worth me going back to get the second. Would get more street tacos, probably only on Tuesday because they are 2$ each otherwise not worth 3$ a taco for the rest of the week. Burrito was average at best. Didn't have much flavor, wouldnt get the burrito again. read more
