Turns out its a menu you choose ranges from sushi rolls to appetizers(fried wings/potato fries/shrimps fried) to kani salads and matcha drinks to sliced fish. It was quite the interesting menu to try. And yes the ramen ofc. I chose the yunnan mushroom broth cause I was in a mushroom mood and it wasnt bad! Tom yum ramen had lemon grass too strong of a flavor and the sour spicy yellow soup hit the spot for my friend who is into those tangy a bit stinky, soups. The fried shrimps with pesto was good better than the coconut shrimp(for me). Both was crispy fried and cleaned well but shell on. The raw bar selection had tun salmon and yellow tail and other raw sushi with some cooked items like shrimp and tamago and crab stick. I really been on a kani salad kick lately so i loved it from here. I ordered it twice, first round came with cucumbers, second didnt. LOL. The red note review said the shaved ice was part of the ayce but when we went they stopped the included dessert, which is fine we ordered it to try and it was matchayy but the plastic spoon lowered the eating experience and it was served with deep spoon as if for soup. Came here for lunch around noon on a Sunday, and there were plenty of tables available. The interior is beautifully designed, and I appreciated that all of the chairs were cushioned, making the dining experience even more comfortable. It has a relaxing atmosphere that's great for everyone, whether you're with family, friends, or on a date. The only downside right now is that there's a lot of construction around Battery Park, so you don't get much of the waterfront view while they're working on flood protection. The wings were outstanding and easily one of my favorite dishes of the meal. I also really enjoyed the tonkotsu ramen--the broth was rich and flavorful without being overly heavy, and the noodles had a great texture. My only preference would be different toppings. I would have loved a soft-boiled egg and pork belly instead of the drier pork charsu, corn, and tomatoes. The soup dumplings were also good. I ordered the Rock Tea, which was beautifully presented on a traditional tea tray and "jade" cups. It made for a lovely presentation, but after steeping for a while, the tea became a little bitter with a dry finish. Although it was listed as sold out, my husband was able to get his thai ice tea which he enjoyed. Service was great. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the filet mignon over rice or the other wing flavors, but that's a good reason to come back. Came here with a friend after work since it's near her office. The menu has more variety than I thought -- ramen, sushi, fried rice, noodles, and small bites. We ordered a few things. The barley with filet mignon was a nice healthy option, and the steak came out tender. The black pepper mushroom fried rice was surprisingly good -- the mushrooms really brought out the flavor. The tonkotsu ramen uses a thicker noodle than the traditional kind, which I actually liked for the chewiness, and the chashu slices are generous. The baby corn was a nice touch too. Kyushu-style chicken wings were crispy with a sweet and tangy sauce, probably my favorite of the night. Black truffle fries had just the right amount of truffle -- didn't overpower the potato taste, and we finished them pretty quickly. Eel black pepper rice ball was solid. New ramen shop that opened by Battery Park. It was a bit out of the way, but I was determined to go venture out and see what they had to offer with friends. This restaurant sells itself heavily on the Michelin Star chef, so to me that raises the bar on expectation on the food, but it's also an excuse for them to charge for premium prices. Overall, I enjoyed the spread that we shared. We ordered a Da Hong Pao ($8) to share with the table. The staff will refill this whenever you empty the entire pot, so it's a pretty good deal. Very refreshing on a cold day. I personally also ordered the Signature Matcha Pina Colada (iced) ($8) and loved it. Highly recommend. We tried a variety of appetizers: The Crispy Butterflied Prawns ($15) were probably my 2nd favorite item we ordered. Kyushu-Style Chicken Wings ($15) - These wings were really small. Aside from that, they tasted good. Filet Mignon Black Pepper Rice Ball ($12) & Eel Black Pepper Rice Ball ($8) I would probably pass on. They were just a peppery sticky rice with a layer of the respective protein on top. Spicy Soup Dumplings (6 pcs) ($12) - These were my favorite dish. Loved the spiciness twist I don't think a lot of restaurants, if any, offer. For entree, I personally got the Tomato Chashu Tonkotsu ($20) and I have to say that I wasn't overly impressed with it. I guess that is because I wanted that typical bone broth, rather than a hybrid mix of the pork bone & tomato broth. Ran into this spot over the weekend and what a great find. Definitely not your typical ramen place--in the best way possible. The place is new, and everything feels spotless and well put together. The staff was incredibly kind and did an amazing job guiding us through the menu. I was there with my dog, and they went above and beyond--not only accommodating us but even bringing him water and their own version of a pup cup, which was such a cute touch. We tried a few dishes: the Rice tossed in Barley and Spinach Sauce with Filet Mignon, the Basil Chashu Tonkotsu Ramen (INSANE), and my personal favorite--the Filet Mignon Black Pepper Rice Ball. Walked in for a table of three without reservations and we were able to get seated right away on a Wednesday evening! The ramen options are reasonably priced and I ordered the Signature Tonkotsu. It was flavorful, not too salty, and a good, satisfying portion. We also got the black truffle fries to share for the table - I wasn't a huge fan of the type of fry and would have preferred something thicker. I would skip this appetizer option next time! My niece and I had a good time at Loong Ramen thanks to the relaxing vibe and really tasty food. The crispy prawns, eel rice bowl, and the spinach barley with filet mignon were all delicious. The spicy dumplings were very spicy but still worth ordering. The service was slow though. We waited about 25 minutes to be seated, and no one checked on us until after our appetizers. The staff was friendly but clearly overwhelmed, and we didn't get water until after we'd finished eating, which wasn't ideal with such spicy dishes. One of our waitresses was really rude and I did not have a great experience with her even after talking to the owner after the visit about the weight staff, they took my feedback which is appreciated. However, the experience itself made everything unpleasant. Loong Ramen is a great addition to the Battery Park area. There is a good variety of options to choose from. Their menu has some unique options such as the Basil Chashu Tonkotsu Ramen and the Vietnamese Tom Yum Shrimp Ramen. My sister got the Basil one and I got the tom yum ramen. Both broths were uniquely flavored and balanced. The basil ramen was something new I haven't seen. I also liked that the pesto did not make it oily. We also shared some soup dumplings with our group. They have two different types: the classic and spicy. The dumplings are on the smaller side, but they do pack with flavor. The broth is lighter in intensity. The spicy version has a nice kick of heat, but not too spicy in heat at least for me. I would say it's slightly above mild. There is also vinegar and chili oil on the table if you need to add to any dishes. For drinks I tried the iced matcha cheese dragonfruit coconut drink. It was refreshing and the drink has a nice presentation. The waitresses that served us were both very friendly and pleasant. They only recently opened at the time of this review and the waitress told us they plan on adding some more desserts. They also didn't have any beer, wine or liquor drinks. We forgot to ask if they plan too soon. The decor of the restaurant was very welcoming and has a nice casual feel. There are two private unisex bathrooms in the back which were very clean. The 4.5 stars on this place are a mystery to me. After coming here 3 times now, I can confidently write an objective, honest review. We live in the neighborhood and it's a food desert down here so we try to support local restaurants but never again. This place's wait staff consistently forgets your orders, doesn't refill water, doesn't check-in on the customers during the meal, and doesn't even come back to take entree orders. The first time we went, our mains came out before our apps and our drinks came after everything lol. The second time, they forgot my husband's (insanely mediocre) ramen so we had to wait along with the rest of our family for his meal to arrive long after everyone else had finished. And most recently, my husband got the pepper eel rice ball and it was just an all-out pepper assault and they forgot to bring my entree entirely so I had to just get it packed to go. I've also never met a soup dumpling I didn't like but this place proved me wrong, they were weirdly bitter (and not because of the vinegar). The service here is trash and so is the food. The ONLY good thing they do well here are the Osaka Wings but I'm not going to an overpriced restaurant just for its wings. They've also been here over a year and still no liquor license or BYOB options. TLDR don't recommend- don't waste your money. Bring back the hot pot restaurant please!! read more

I ordered takeout, consisting of fried rice, unagi-don, and chicken wings. The chicken wings were not the best, sitting just around mediocre, but it only goes downhill from there. The fried rice was extremely over-peppered, containing no protein, and filled with a weird type of greens that added to the peppered taste. The unagi-don wasn't too great as well; it was soggy, but had a pretty decent taste to it. Overall, this experience was terrible, leaving to a waste of food. The food was overpriced, terrible, and left a weird aftertaste in my mouth. Although the negativity, I will return as a seated customer, and try again.
