I ordered some parts (at the best price I could find online) and they shipped the wrong (and unusable) parts. Unfortunately, we didn't find the error until my wife had returned to the boat in Grenada with them. After one day to verify my order, they refunded the whole amount without any problems. Obviously the expense and logistics of two way international shipping and the time waiting for the new parts would have made an exchange a horrific experience. I shall shop there again, for sure. Thank you Go2marine.

I would rate this higher if not for the fact that I have often felt pressured to make a purchase, especially if it's a major item...rods, reels, boots, waders. That type of uncomfortableness is generally reserved for auto dealers. Just saying.

They start off with a half hour introduction that includes each of their backgrounds regarding kayaking experience and some of the knowledge they have gained that pertains to the kayaking tour. Then they give a brief lesson about the bioluminescent plankton, then the safety talk. By the end of the talk you can tell how much they all love what they do and how committed they are to making sure you are safe and that you have a wonderful experience. The kayaking was easy, nothing strenuous, making it easy to watch the bioluminescence. And the bioluminescence was absolutely magical! They look like fireflies in the water! You can light them up with your paddle or even your hands. If you stir the water and scoop it up you can even get some lit-up plankton in your hand.. I would highly recommend Olympic Outdoor Center for this tour and we plan on returning again!

Neither my dad or I had ever kayaked before and honestly we were terrible at it initially but one of the guides came over by us with words of encouragement and eventually we were able to pick it up and get into a rhythm. It ended up being quite a fun and memorable experience! The bioluminescent plankton was subtle but still quite magical looking and just being out on the water under the night sky was breathtakingly beautiful. My dad and I agreed that we would absolutely come back and do this again!

Dorito Dan was our guide for the day. Dan was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The first hour is dedicated to introductions, procedures and safety. Be sure to use the restroom before departing. Once on the water, there is no turning back. Kayaking is great for teamwork and communication. Both are required to avoid frustration. I recommend wearing weight-lifting/bicycle gloves in order to prevent blisters. Each person in our group started getting blisters towards the end of the tour. During our 3 mile kayaking trip, we spotted starfish, seals and majestic bald eagles. Thank you Outdoor Adventures for providing a magnificent day of play while surrounded by gorgeous Mother Nature. Booking was a breeze, advanced communication was timely and informative, check-in was friendly and easy, and even the drive across the island from Friday Harbor was engaged and informative. But the real magic happened on the water, where we started under mild, overcast skies, and ended with sunshine and perfect weather. Along the way we saw: 1 black fox, 2 harbor seals, 1 harbor porpoise, a rhinoceros auklet (unique diving sea bird), 13+ Bald Eagles, AND TWO HUMPBACK WHALES! The beach side lunch was fantastic... the best turkey sandwich I've ever had, made exceptional by the views and the company. The lack of an Orca sighting made this full day trip an eyelash shy of perfect, but we could not have otherwise been more thrilled with our experience on the water with Brandon and the Discovery Sea Kayak team. Thank you for a magical day on the island. PS - we paid half as much for a full day tour with Discovery as we did for a half day tour on Orcas Island, so this group gets our strongest recommendation!
