This company uses "fine print" to make their products look more attractive. They advertise "free shipping" when the reality is so different. One product I wanted they claimed weighed too much, the other weighed very little but they claimed it was bulky. What a batch of crap, this company lies on something as simple as "free shipping" or not. I have zero interest in doing business with a company like this that uses "fine print" to get customers to buy their overpriced products! This is a bad news outfit. I ordered chain from them, and after the order was placed and confirmed, they came back to me and said they had made a mistake on the shipping costs. They refused to honor the confirmed price, so I cancelled here is my email to them: Dear Jennifer, Your website says " Free Shipping $99 ", which is not true when you look at the fine print. Your charge of $166.15 for shipping was automatically added to my Sales Order #264397, and charged to my credit card. The fact that 'the system is unable to process shipping cost properly' is not my problem. This is classic ´bait and switch'. The fact you won't honor the Sales Order is telling. Secondly, I have been a customer in the past but as is typical of most on-line shoppers I look for the best price. I can say that in future shopping for items on my 50' motor yacht I will make every effort to use Go2Marine in appreciation for the speed at which I received my order but also wanting to support business in Washington state. Go2Marine had the item in stock that was unavailable in my local hardware stores. It was listed at half the price of the same item at a famous Amazing online seller. Go2Marine delivered the item in less than half the time they told me it would arrive. Under-promise and over-deliver is something often missing in these days. Thank you. I ordered a fuel pump for my boat stove yesterday early morning and paid $50 + for next day delivery. At 3:15 pm today I called to see where my order was and was told it had gone out for shipment and I will get an email with tracking number this after noon. When I asked about the overnight shipping I paid $50 bucks for I was told he needed a day to process the order and i would get it tomorrow. I was pretty upset and tried to explain that was not what I paid for and he said I'm sorry but there is nothing he could do. I said thank you with disgust of service. Stay away. Probably the worst customer service I have ever had and I have been buying boat parts / supplies for over 15 years. I purchased a "cold plate" for my boat refrigerator. The fittings would not work with my compressor. Yes, I should have confirmed this before the purchase, but the description was not detailed enough on the web site and it was my fault that I did try to call or email and confirm. When I realized that it would not adapt to my compressor I called Go2marine. The customer service rep said "we don't really have anyone here that knows about refrigerators". I called the manufacturer and confirmed that the cold plate would not work with my compressor. I spoke to Go2marine about returning and they said just ship it back with a return form completed. The unit was returned in new condition (I did not install) in the original packaging (even the original plastic cover). I received an email with a "blanket" statement that they could not sell as new and therefore no refund. I asked specifically why and if there were pics to support. I purchased insurance for the return and if damaged during shipping, I could potentially get my $400+ back this way. The reply said see attached pictures. There were no pics attached. When I asked that the pics be resent.... silence. Now I cannot get anyone to talk to me. So, I would recommend to stay away. read more

I placed a significant order on 2/3/2019. I was careful to order only items listed as In Stock and Leaves Warehouse in 1 Day. The products were available from other online sources, but Go2Marine had the best prices for the products I wanted. I received one product of the 10-item order within 5 days. I called them on 2/10/2019 and was told they have no control over when their vendors ship from other warehouses. I just checked my order status and all other items in the order have an estimated ship date of 2/25/2019. Today is 2/14/2019. If they can't guarantee items are In Stock and Leave Warehouse in 1 Day, they should not advertise it. Dishonest advertising. They should state, "We have no idea if your purchases are actually in stock and when they may or may not ship. Good luck." I will continue calling and emailing them to try to get the products I paid for. I could have walked into my local West Marine store and walked out with every product I ordered from Go2Marine. Avoid this place at all costs. They are completely unorganized and the guy who answers the is rude and doesn't give a crap about his business. I order parts for my boat that I needed badly and they lied and said they were in stock and would ship within one day. I buy a lot of marine products, from several online dealers, as I have been refitting a sailboat for the last 3 years to sail around the world. I have bought several products, at very good prices (the lowest on any of the items I have bought from them). I have never had any problems with their service or any thing else for that matter. Just today I realized that an order I placed yesterday afternoon, for a Caframo fan (Taku - they had the best price - and free shipping), was not going to fit my overhead hatch. I called them the next morning and asked them to hold the order, while I confirmed the issue with the manufacturer. I then called back and canceled the order. I ordered a $700 fire bottle on 30 Nov. I HAVE to have this by 18 Dec. The website and my confirmation email says "ships in 5 days" and ground shipping is 5-7 days. Ordered 20 feet of Amsteel on November 3 2017. The item said it would ship the next business day. On November 13 I got a "item has shipped" email with a UPS tracking number. On November 15, 2 days later UPS had no such tracking number in the system. I called and spoke with Lindsey, who was apologetic and professional, and after investigating, she said it actually when out USPS priority on 11/14 ... which was 7 business days after I ordered it. The USPS number she then emailed me did map. It will arrive 2 full weeks after I ordered this if USPS is correct. I am a bit underwhelmed. Placed my order Monday evening. Called on Tuesday and Wednesday to check on my order as per the website it would leave the warehouse in 1 day. Did not receive a tracking number until Thursday evening. I paid for USPS priority hoping it would arrive by Saturday as it should have left the warehouse on Wednesday the latest. Now per tracking my item will arrive on a Monday 7 days after my order was placed. Inaccurate description on website and would recommend looking into other sites that are more accurate with their shipping time frames. read more

Mistakes can happen and the folks at Go2marine stood up, took responsibility, and did the right thing. I ordered some parts (at the best price I could find online) and they shipped the wrong (and unusable) parts. Unfortunately, we didn't find the error until my wife had returned to the boat in Grenada with them. After one day to verify my order, they refunded the whole amount without any problems. Obviously the expense and logistics of two way international shipping and the time waiting for the new parts would have made an exchange a horrific experience. I shall shop there again, for sure. Very slow shipping. I ordered two elbow gaskets and the bolts to go with it. The total package could have fit in an envelope. I was charged over $15 shipping and it is taking almost 10 days to get it. The funny thing is I ordered a new oil cooler from another company in Michigan and they also sent it UPS Ground. I had it within 36 hours. I called go2marine to check on the shipping and the the young lady I spoke to said I should have called and told them I needed it right away and they would have shipped it differently. read more

I ordered a raw water pump on Monday morning. The representative that I spoke to told me that it would ship the same day. I ordered it from Go2Marine because they were shipping from a local warehouse and I needed the pump quick! After multiple phone calls and being told it would ship, it finally did late Wednesday night and I finally received it Friday morning. I am very disappointed in two facts, 1) I paid a MUCH HIGHER price to get the pump quickly, and 2) I didn't receive the pump for five days and the only reason I got it that quick was because of the four or five calls I made to the company. I could've gotten it here at the same time at $60 price decrease if I had ordered from another source. I won't use Go2Marine again! It cost me more money and two days of vacation awaitng a pump. BTW, Go2Marine made no attempt to offer me a discount or an apology or anything. There is way too much competition out there for this kind of service. I only regret there isn't a way to assign Go2Marine with a negative review number. I ordered a steering cable from them on the 28th of November. It was supposed to be shipped within 3 days. Today, I checked into their website to check the status and saw that it now wasn't scheduled to be shipped for another 3 days from today. That was supposed to be a week after my order. I called to see what was really happening. The sales representative spoke with their warehouse and returned with the news that the cable not only wasn't in their supply, it hadn't even been manufactured yet. The earliest that would even happen was at least 10 days after my purchase. That is beyond even unbelievable. I have never had a business promise to ship an item within 3 days for something they not only didn't have in inventory, but something that hadn't even been made. I would have never even known this if I hadn't called. Go2Marine wins the award for the worst customer service and order fulfillment I have ever experienced. My electric pot puller that I have used and abused for years finally pulled up it's last shrimp pot and I decided to switch to gas. I expressed my need for a rapid turn around (wanting to hit the spotted shrimp fishery again in one week) and traceable/reliable shipping. Marv went beyond the call of duty! He personally contacted the supplier and shared my particular demands, and by the end of the day my 40 lb engine and 20 lb davit were being shipped/tracked and convenient delivery times set. I ordered 2 fuel filters on 11/21/16. Their tracking service made no sense as it said the parts would ship 11/24/16 but were still showing in process days later. Multiple calls and voice mails were not returned and today their tracking indicates a shipment date of 12/01/16. This company has awful customer service. I was reviewing the carb kit online and called to ask if it would work with my engine (I need three carb kits for 3 carbs). I called and they said yes to both. I had a 2 month old baby at the time (now 3 month old) thus it took me about 47 days to get to this. I disassembled the first carb last night and realized it was the wrong kit. Now they are refusing to accept a return on the carb kits (even though they are unopened) when all I want is the correct carb kit. They were wrong on the analysis and now they claim that because I relied on their statements that it was correct, that they can keep my about $210. There are far, far better online boat parts companies online I have used. I will never use this one again and I recommend if you read this review that you avoid this company as well. This is completely ridiculous and this company is basically saying too bad we are keeping your money even though we told you that it was correct. Ridiculous. All I want to do is substitute three carb kits THAT ARE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE ONES I ORDERED. I offered to pay the difference and for the shipping back. This company would clearly rather profit from a $200 one-time sale at the expense of future business and even making more money off of the same sale. I don't think 15 days to get a small circuit breaker is good customer service. Apparently the item was on backorder but I was never told that. When tracking my order their system gave a date as to when it would leave their warehouse even days after the supposed date. A "contact us" email went unanswered, and then my order disappeared from their tracking system. A phone call provided no accurate info, and then I received an email that the item had "arrived to" their warehouse on 5/1 and would be shipped on 5/5.
