Went in after the federal tax stamp of suppressors dropped to zero dollars. First time buying one with zero knowledge of suppressors. Took two trips in so far with a third incoming when the ATF is done. First trip did some finger printing and questions on the silencer shop kiosk in the store talked to guys at the counter and they informed me about additional stuff to do on ATF website. So went and did that and returned. Pretty average but helpful visit for being new to suppressors. 2nd trip in i spoke with a dude behind the counter explained I wanted a suppressor, but my knowledge is lacking. Told him what firearms I'm using and that I got the paperwork that was mentioned in first visit completed. So he showed me a couple options and grabbed 2 other guys and the lady at the desk processing the paperwork for their input for a first time purchaser and showed me a couple more options and ultimately ended up the the dead air sandman X. While I haven't received it yet (waiting on the ATF to process the paperwork), the staffs thoroughness, willing to answer my dumb questions for 35-40 minutes was a huge help and I felt i had to share my experience. They didn't disappoint and I have a feeling this will be my go to shop in the future. I came in to offload a few safe queens that haven't seen the range in years and to see what was available to replace them. The atmosphere is very cold and stand off-ish, I was ignored for the first 5 minutes, standing at the counter finally being asked if "minded waiting, while he showed a lady a pistol?" Mind you she walked in after me, but I guess I didn't have the right "incentives" for attention. After almost 15 minutes of hanging out I was finally approached and asked what I had in the cases. They offered pennies on the dollar for a handful of safe queens, when I asked why their offer was so low the guy shrugged and said "you can only sell these to gun stores now so there's no private market any more, take it or leave it" I left it, I can't justify selling a rifle/scope that I paid $5K for with only 20 rounds down range for $300 because that's just how it is now. The whole experience was so negative that I didn't bother shopping around, I'd rather take my business ANYWHERE else. read more

Went in today to pick up a firearm I bought a few weeks ago and I was shocked at how personable, attentive, and friendly the staff were. I'm not sure if I just caught them on a good day, or if they're always like this, but to put it simply I was really impressed. Specifically with Ari who was taking care of my transaction. Ned ( I believe is his name ) was there and offered some awesome tips on aftermarket parts that I was wondering about. Seriously, great work guys. I have been in Boerners several times 1988 ish 1990 ish and 2001 ish all three times I felt VERY unwelcome in the store. First 2 times after my friendly Hi. I got no response from the owner and the customer at the counter. It was a very small store at the time. As I started to look around I could feel both the owner and customer's eyes boring into my back and neither said a word the whole time I was in the store. I did not spend much time in the store as I felt so uncomfortable. When I left I gave them a good thank you and neither said a word back. The second time my 9 year old son was with me and when we got out the door his comment was what was their problem. The third time was a little better but I think unless they know you or are part of their "click" they do not want you in their store. I worked with several other gun owners at PSNS and that was their experience also. I have been in hundreds of gun stores from small to huge from New York to California in 50 years of shooting and have never been treated like this or felt so unwelcome. This company has been around for years....recently moved in the last year or so to this new location. Plenty of firearms to look, touch and hold...and buy if you have the money and are not otherwise restricted from doing so. They have a lot of used equipment rather than new, but from my view point they look well gone over and refurbished prior to any sale. When traveling through this area, stop in and take a look...you will like what you see. read more

Extremely nice folks here! Didn't buy anything - it was my first time at the store as I was just passing through the area. Easy to get to from Hwy 16. They have the old and new. Good prices and a really nice selection of rifle calibers both in Ammo and firearms. They even have free coffee - yup had 2 cups! Friendly service and an easy going atmosphere. Even had folks just shooting the breeze in their sitting area. Thanks for the coffee and letting me just browse around. Extremely poor customer service. Purchased a new S&W which I've had jamming issues with since day 1. Brought it back in they said it was fine (that was a lie). Have had multiple people shoot it and it jams every time. Brought it back in again and was told that this particular model has a spring issue. They refused to fix, refused to assist in any way, were rude, and overall they could care less. To say the least, I've purchased my last 9 firearms elsewhere. The guys at Boerner are always sooo helpful and they never talk down to me for being a single chick buying guns, which happens often at other shops. Recently I've been working in building some ARs and they have not only answers all my questions, been super patient with me and walked me though alllll the options they've been so honest as to tell me when I could buy parts online for a better price then they could get them to me. It's hard to find customer service and honesty like they have in almost any business these days, these guys are on top of it. Their selection is great also. I've purchased a few pistols from them and had my AR lowers sent to them for FFL transfer and they've been helpful and nice through it all. I also love the pack of old guys that hang out in the back of the store, they've got great stories and are happy to talk guns with you anytime. I know nothing of their store front or retail sales operation. But with HB 1240 looming, I wanted to order a pistol frame from a manufacturer and elected to bring the FFL business to a local store. I contacted Boerner prior to the order to verify they would process it. The individual answering the phone thought so, but checked with another individual before stated they would. I ordered the component. A few days later I checked the UPS tracker to see the delivery was declined and headed back to the manufacturer. I called Boerner to ask why they declined, and they said they were getting 30-40 boxes every day. By their admission they didn't have time to even open the boxes to see what was in them and perhaps contact the purchaser. They just declined them all. Now the seller has stopped all sales to WA and there is currently no way to obtain the component. Clearly, the volume of incoming FFL transfers reflected customers' concerns and would justify some extra effort to process them, but Boerner chose to shut it off. "These are unusual times...sorry" was their comment. I called Bull's Eye Indoor Range the same day to see if I could repair the situation, and they said they weren't turning anything away! From a customer standpoint, this wasn't a good business decision by Boerner and likely irritated many people. I wish them the best, but I'll not be seeking their services again. read more

So disgusted in the lack of help and friendliness of this place. I asked if my gun came in and they said I would have to just wait till I they called me when my gun was sitting right there in front of them. These old guys just sat around in their chairs bullshitting. This guy put the paperwork in front of me and walked away, and when he unboxed the rifle he looked at it and didn't even bother to show me. I attempted to purchase a firearm from boerners and NICS falsely denied purchase. It took 2 years for nics to resolve issue and grant me permission to pick up the firearm that I had paid 550$ for right before denial. Boerners was adamant that I not get a refund because it would cancel appeal. I go to pick up my firearm after waiting 2 years for NICS to resolve appeal and Boerners tells me they dont have any record of me or the pistol. The receipt they gave me 2 years prior is faded. I have a NTN number proving purchase was made. They were immediately defensive not showing any noticeable effort to help the customer resolve this misfortune. This is scandalous business practice. Dont give Boerners the opportunity to steal from you cause it's pretty obvious they'll try to make a buck even if it means re-selling a gun they already sold with the promise they would hold on to it until fbi nics got off there ass. 2 year wait Time for nics appeal read more

Went here looking to buy a gun as they were closest to me. I researched near by gun shops that carried the exact same gun and even though it listed for $350.00 they were selling it for $305.00 and $299.00, so I go in here and they would not budge on the $350.00 price so I left and drove 6 miles more and bought the $299.00 gun. These guys are OVER PRICED and will LOW BALL you on any trade you have. Will not stop here again ever. read more
