You hardly see brands like Columbia, Under Armour or others go on sale. Even when they have the annual tent sales during the Summer in August, hardly see things on sale that much. As for customer service, guess it depends on the days, because we have received mostly great to pretty bad and slow services on different days we have visited this store location in Fife, on occasion. We still shop for our fishing gear here as we like the selection and variety of items for different fishing seasons - Salmon, Steelhead and Trout.

It was 13 minutes until closing, but we knew what we needed. As soon as we walked in, a woman at the front counter who was helping a customer held up her arm to eye level and made a lengthy, obvious production about staring at her watch. I apologized to her about coming in 13 minutes before closing. No reply. I waited for my husband to finish his purchase; however, no more than a minute after we entered my husband told us we were leaving. When I asked why, he said he overheard the female employee at the front complaining about us to her customer. They were talking about customers coming in just before closing loud enough to be heard by others. We used to love Northman's and wanted to support our local business. No more. We will gladly take our business to other merchants who have the integrity and professionalism to not gossip about customers to other customers.

When I finally had enough and cancelled my order, the owner refused to refund me until the order eventually arrives, so he could charge me a 30% restocking fee. He was incredibly rude as well, as if it was unreasonable of me to expect to get something for my $750. Thankfully my bank was able to put a back charge and force a reversal. Avoid this business. You can get better inventory and vastly better service pretty much anywhere.

Sign in at a shelf in the clubhouse wall and leave your money in the box mounted on the wall. It is an honor system thing. To the right of the clubhouse is a graduated distance outdoor range although you shoot from a covered area. Targets are stacked hay bails within lean to type structures. The sign out front says they are open 7 days a week, no hours but pretty much can assume daylight. To the left of the clubhouse there is an outdoor walking range through the woods. The trails are fairly level and marked as accessible. Most stations have distance markers and there are some boardwalks over the seasonally wet areas. Lots of variety as to terrain so bring some extra practice arrows as if you miss the target completely, at some of the stations it would be tough to find them in the woods.
