Title: Unprofessional conduct, payment withheld, ruined personal time Review: I had a very frustrating and unprofessional experience with Longship, brokered by Colin Dwenger. I booked a load for $3,300 from Cleveland, OH, with a partial delivery in Nashville, TN, and final delivery in Florida. I made it very clear that I was trying to get to Florida in time for my daughter's birthday, and Colin assured me that everything would go smoothly. At pickup, the shipper clearly showed me which part of the load was to be dropped off in Nashville, and which was for Florida. The trailer was loaded accordingly, with the Florida portion in front and the Nashville delivery in the rear. When I arrived in Nashville -- nobody was waiting for me as promised. I had to stay overnight and finally got unloaded the next morning, which already set me back. 300 miles into my drive from Nashville to Florida, Colin called and told me that the receiver in Nashville had mistakenly taken the wrong freight -- specifically, a box that should've gone to Florida. He asked me to drive back 300 miles to fix their mistake. Obviously, I declined. Two months later, they just withheld $1,100 from the agreed rate -- blaming me for something completely out of my control. The loading, unloading, and miscommunication were all on their side, yet I'm the one who was penalized. This is unethical, dishonest, and disrespectful to any carrier trying to run a professional business. I do not recommend working with Longship or Colin Dwenger. You've been warned. read more

Crooks! They solicited our moving company for a huge job that was entirely mismanaged and a complete cluster of bad information by Damion Lawson. The dude is a complete liar and will tell to you anything to get you to do the job for him and promise to pay you but never will. I highly recommend you get paid upfront before taking any job from them. read more

Ask CAdams about a load and wanted information to make sure we could do the load be successful, he informed me that I sounded like a detective and "do you want the load or not" I guess asking pertinent questions is too overwhelming for Longship, if you don't mind be made into feeling like an fool haul for them, but if you want respect stay away. Update: 5/10/22 On 4/1/22 We had agreed on rate con for a load coming out of Wray, CO (potatoes) today I received an invoice where we are going to be $106 dollars short. Since my company hauled 2,000 lbs less than actual weight. I believe this is incumbent upon to know the weight on their load. Still have not received 3 half hours in detention pay. I have reed different reviews where they don't pay detention or pay for the extra weight given. Please report this Them for fraud and abuse!!!!!!!! People report this company to BBB!!!!!! Don't Book with this company!!!!! By far the most unprofessional team I have ever worked it. From the beginning trying to book a load the broker was offering $100 less, when was posted on the load board. This guys are Crooks. I worked with Dalton Faulks and Cody Jones. My driver had messaged a team member to clarify appointment time. Apparently, the time given by Dalton did not match theirs. And warehouse also stated this company knows better they are always booked at 5pm instead of our 7am appointment. I messaged Cody and called the office and spoke with Brandon several times. Stating he has not had a chance to call warehouse, been a busy morning. Eventually, the warehouse has took us in. I reached out back to the office requesting for detention pay (3 half hours).My phone number would not go through but personal number would. I send an email to Cody and Dalton to send me an updated rate con for detention pay. They never replied. I even notified the account coordinator Melanie Kincaid, in the hopes something could be done. read more
