The dispatch services did not schedule an appointment with us for delivery. Instead the delivery driver showed up at our house, while we were at work. I missed his call because I was in meetings but soon called him back. He said that dispatch would reach out to reschedule the appointment, he couldn't bring it back then and that I had to be present because the delivery requires signature. I wait a day, no call from dispatch. So I call the driver back and leave a message, no return call. I THEN find and call the main office. The man on the phone (did not get his name but now realizing that I should have) was very nice, said my package was there and I could schedule a redelivery or come and pick it up. To reduce any more snafus with the order, I opted to pick it up, specifically asked what hours they operate for pickups so that I can plan accordingly. He said "pretty much All of the time." I asked for clarification and he said "yes, someone is here all of the time". My husband and I rearranged our evening (it's 8:30 pm for reference) and made the trip to pick up the package. The person in the office had no idea what we were talking about and said "no one would have told you that we are open all the time. That's not how we operate". Basically calling me a liar, multiple times. Why would I have dropped everything to drive across town to pick up a package THAT WOULDN'T BE AVAILABLE...like I have nothing else to do with my time. I'm irate. I could tell that the guy behind the counter was trying to be professional but it did not come naturally to him as I got the immediate impression - before he heard our story or what we were there for - that he would not help us at all. From there he was terribly rude. So...I still don't have the package and will have figure out another time to make the trip to pick up something that only I can sign for. I will do everything possible to avoid using Professional Expiditing in the future and would advise the same to anyone else.
