I was looking for a used 2021 Lexus RX 350 and needed two things: - Itemized OTD price - Clearance to take the vehicle to my own mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection I contacted other dealerships with this same request, only for them to dodge and not address what I was looking for. It literally took five email exchanges for me to get the information I needed. This was not the case with Longo. Do Not Recommend ~ the dealership has been overpriced for years due to constant Lexus ads creating higher public awareness yet their cars have so little features compare to Acura and Cadillac. The down payment is too high and over $1000 monthly plus tax license for plugins that doesn't save enough gas to justify extra hundreds paying monthly. Lexus maintenance costs from $200+ minor to $3500+ major and constant recalls and braking issues make it easy for people to let go of their cars. Will sell my Lexus for better car!!! read more

The car repair service is overall good. The car repair takes about one month from ordering the supplies to picking up the car. The collision repair quality is acceptable. There is a rental car service inside the repair center, convenient to drop off the car and rent a car back home. However, the insurance claim can be lengthy depending on your insurance company. Mine takes about one month and I end up paying out of the pocket money about 5.5 K to cover the discrepancy. read more

Sales and finance department will lie to you. They will tell you must finance from them to get some kind of add on services. They will check rates with multiple banks (shown in your credit report), but tell the bank with highest rate is the lowest they can get. I sent my car to check the noise from underneath when driving. First service advisor (Asian gentleman) asked for $200 for diagnose. I rejected because my car was under warranty; I felt was scammed. I talked to another service advisor for same noise issue when my car was due maintenance after couple of months. No diagnose fee at all. However, they could not find out the problem before I suggested they checked the TSB I searched online after they told me they needed extra day to check out. Although the nearest Lexus service center is only about 2 miles from my house, I would wholeheartedly drive for 16 miles to get my services done at Longo Lexus. Go figure! May it be a phone call or an in-person inquiry, my 16-mile drive to Longo is far worthy than the 2-mile drive to another Lexus service center. They are very professional and knowledgeable. My special mention goes to Gregory Martinez (estimator for the collision department). He is Santa in the month of January. After showing him the garage-accident-scratches on my car, he clearly stated all the options that I can do to resolve my issue; from paying $$$ (it is expected, it is lexus) down to clearing the scratches on my own. Story short, Gregory "Santa" Martinez did his magical scrubbing and I left the service center with much less scratches on my car. His honesty is yet another reason why Longo Lexus is worthy of my 16-mile drive. read more

I was looking to hop into a Lexus, particularly a Lexus IS350 F Sport. I told the scheduler that I wanted their most experienced sales person as I didn't want my time wasted. So they originally put me with Steven at 7 PM. I show up a little earlier than 7 PM and low and behold, Steven was not available. At this point I was already turned off. I mean if they don't keep their appointments that means they don't respect me and my time. I was eventually helped by someone else. I asked questions about the IS350 and was given some poor contradicting answers. I told them I wanted a fully loaded IS350 with every single option ticked. I mean, is it unreasonable that I want my luxury car to be filled with Luxury? I was told that this "60k" model is not kept at the dealership and I needed to run my credit check. I literally test drove my BMW M4 without a credit check when I got it, that's an 80K car. 20K more. Eventually I was able to test drive one of the cheaper versions by handing them the keys of my BMW as collateral. I was not impressed with the "Normal" IS350 and was told that I couldn't custom order a car to the way I wanted it. I think if I am going to spend 60K, I should get exactly how I want it to be just like my BMW. He gave me a story that Lexus is not a normal luxury car manufacturer and shares parts with Toyota. The salesperson wouldn't give me his business card and he didn't tell me his name. I eventually found it as "Matthew Yeung" on the Longo Sales team. I would have to say he doesn't make Lexus sound like a luxury brand and more of an econobox like Toyota. You don't tell someone that your luxury brand isn't really a luxury and is an overpriced Toyota. I called other dealerships about the IS350, they said that special ordering is possible. I also asked about discounts as well. There was zero discounts giving on the IS350 at the time. I called again to confirm what Matthew said about not being able to special order and the sales person "Jessica Chien" was really helpful and gave me much better info than Matthew. Jessica told me that yes, there is a special order process but it can take a few months. Jessica was really respectful of my time and responded to my questions in a timely manner and didn't give me any BS. I eventually started to look at a different car since I felt the IS350 felt like a stripped out luxury car so I looked at the ES350. When I say "stripped out luxury car", you lack some things compared to a BMW. Like rolling up and down windows with the key fob (was told Lexus got rid of this feature for safety). There is no easy entry, the screen resolution is terrible for a 2021 car, and there is excessive gear whine. This part has nothing to do with Longo Lexus, just Lexus as a car brand. When I was about to test drive ES350 car, it literally took three people to explain the car to me. Their "specialist" needed to review the manual for certain questions. They kept saying the car is an "Ultra Luxury Model" but the car they brought out wasn't a "Ultra Luxury" because the front windows weren't dual pane. So I don't know why I know their inventory better than their "specialists" which is another turn off. Overall, didn't really like the contradicting answers from two different Sales Person. Jessica is great to work with and would highly recommend working with her if you really want a Lexus. I personally didn't like how the sales team lacked knowledge of their own cars that they were trying to sell. But I still didn't like how my appointment meant nothing to the sales person. Probably should of just walked out of there if my original appointment was missed because the sales person couldn't make it. Maybe I will give them another chance in the future once Lexus brings their car up to "modern standards". read more

So many dealers these days try to add on extra after extra to bump up their price. Longo does not do this. We traveled 50 miles up from Orange county to view the vehicle. It was in exactly the state that was described. We worked with a really cool sales guy called Marc Fata. He was super low pressure and very helpful. After inspecting the car and testing it I knew it was what I was looking for. It then took less than an hour to finish the paperwork with no extras or upsell at all.
