I had a really great experience here this past week and tried their food for the first time! My friend and I walked in without a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was super sweet and the service was quick and efficient. I had the "Look What She's Having Cocktail," which came with the most fun presentation! Thank goodness they told me to get my phone out because it was definitely an Insta-worthy presentation. The cocktail itself was super fresh and the strawberry flavor was prominent, which I loved. I did think it was pricey. Every signature cocktail is $19. For my entree, I had the cacio e pepe. The pasta is homemade and cooked perfectly al dente. I thought the flavor of the sauce was good, but could have been a bit more peppery. Overall, I would definitely come back here! It is a little pricey for what it is, but I enjoyed my experience,

Stopped by right after work one evening. We had some spritz for happy hour & then ordered a few dishes. The burrata was fantastic. All in all, a solid place but nothing out of the ordinary. Reliable & good.

This was an unexpected stop after a long drive into NYC. It was on the hotel's list of places to go so we decided to walk over and give it a try. The restaurant is quaint and has great outdoor seating. We opted for indoor but the doors remained open and we were able to still feel the city's energy. The food was absolutely delish!! Homemade pasta made Al Dente with basil pesto .... YUMMM. I mentioned it was my husbands fiftieth bday and this was a start to his bday weekend. The server graciously comped us a desert and sang happy birthday! We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine and walked back to Our hotel happy and full!

It's a solid italian place. Depending on the dish you get, the pasta is fresh, and it's cooked to the right amount. Pizza is pretty good too - it's neapolitan style. It's cozy but also nice at the same time, and it's not too loud in there. The servers are pretty attentive too.

Nothing about this experience to write home about, it was exceedingly average in every respect. The fried meatballs app comes with no sauce and while the meatballs taste ok the exterior is pretty tough. My friend's salmon was dry and had some bones in it. It happens, but is part of what makes this meal average. For 5 stars it needs to be moist and bone free. I had the pizza which was ok, but nothing special and not worth $25 for a bar sized pie. Crust/dough was the best part though it couldn't support the cheese. Service was slowish and a bit awkward. Noise level is restaurant is pretty high even when half full. I see no reason to return with so many other options in the neighborhood.

Came back and continue to love this place! The clams linguine and Diavola pizza were outstanding. We also got the carbonara, which was good but my least favorite. Also got a side of Brussel sprouts to balance out all the carbs - a little mushy but still good. Highly recommend!

My favorite thing about this place is that everything is made from scratch and is fresh. It's not very lively in there but it's probably because it was lunch time. The service was great and she was very attentive to us. The double cheeseburger I will say was not Five Guys level but it was dedefinitely still amazing with that egg on it. If you're near the Javits center and want a chill spot this is the place.

One night I was meeting friends for dinner only to find out they were going to be late. I decided to find a place to get a drink while I waited for my friends (maybe two!). After passing two bars (one too crowded and the other closed for a private event), I came across Longo Bros. The place looked cool, with a mixture of modern and old skool design touches that absolutely appeals to me. So in I went to ask the hostess if I could hang out at the bar. Have you ever had a person look at you in such a way that it made you question if you had grown an extra head when you weren't paying attention? That's how this hostess looked at me when I asked if I could sit at the bar. She told me half the bar was reserved for a private party but I could sit anywhere on the other half. So off I went feeling a bit uneasy. My uneasiness would be fully justified before I left. I sat down at the bar. To my right was the reserved section where there about 5-6 people eating, drinking and having a grand old time. To my left, two empty seats, then a customer already eating and then two more empty seats at the end of the bar. Behind the bar were three bartenders all making drinks and looking generally busy. Okay. I've been to enough bars to know that sometimes bartenders can get overwhelmed so I waited to see if maybe they'd even get me a glass of water. And I waited. And waited. Soon enough, the two seats immediately next to me were filled by a young couple (a man and a woman). Then in another minute, the other two empty seats were taken up by two middle aged looking men. So I watch this whole settling in routine and I confess, my brain froze a bit at the next minute. As soon as these guests sat down, they had coasters and glasses for water placed in front of them in a coordinated effort by the bartenders that I had not been privileged enough to experience. I mean, the bartenders were ON IT. Talking to these two new groups like old friends while I just sat there staring wondering if by some virtue of some unknown science I had suddenly become invisible to the naked eye. In fact, I had not. I made eye contact with one of the bartenders and he seemed to realize what was happening and raced over with an empty glass and coaster and set them down in front of me. And then he ran off. At the other end of the bar I saw a different bartender whip out water bottles from some unseen location and begin pouring water for the newly arrived guests. I thought to myself "Okay, here we go, he's coming down the bar and he'll get to me." He did not, in fact, ever get to me. No, I'm serious. He poured water out for the man sitting literally less than twelve inches to my left and then STOPPED. Didn't even look at me and walked away. And yes, there was still water left in his water jar. Finally a different bartender noticed (again) my distress and came over to give me water and a bottle. But he tried to dash away AGAIN but I yelled out my order (a cocktail called "The Gentleman" ironically enough) so he acknowledged it. A few minutes later I had my drink but there was no chit chat, none of the usual bartender banter. Nope, the bartenders were too busy yapping it up in Italian with the dude next to me (he made it a point to speak Italian with them and this was a Big Deal(tm) to the staff). At no point during their conversation did anyone ever check on me or look my way. Not even the bartender who was (I kid you not) maybe only a foot away from me to my right. Look, I'm just a Chinese dude from Brooklyn. Sorry I don't speak Italian or any Romance language fluently. Sorry I don't have perfect hair or a pretty young lady on my arm when I come in. Sorry I'm wearing a T-Shirt and jeans instead of a nice dress shirt. But you know what I have? A credit card with a pretty good limit and a willingness to support a local business that treats me right. If you get my loyalty as a customer, I will spend on you regularly and at times splurge. My dollar is just as good as anyone else's. I was disgusted and finished my drink, paid my bill and left as quickly as I could. The whole experience left me feeling unsettled and gross. You may wonder, was the drink good? It was actually DAMN good. But NO drink is good enough to be treated as less than a person by any business. I will never set foot in this business again.

I've been to this place twice this fall in NYC and they don't miss. Both times we've sat outside on the patio with the covered heaters and it's been very enjoyable. The food has been amazing both times and the cocktails are creatively delicious. Highly recommend the pasta and pizza dishes when you go!

I came here by myself to eat some good pasta! I opted for Longo Bros as a mid range Italian restaurant and that's what it was! The servers were all very kind and host recommended I get the Carbonara. He was right! It was creamy and the guanchale was perfectly smoky and porky. I had a very pleasant experience overall but the pasta was a little undercooked for my personal liking. It would be a good date spot because of the romantic atmosphere!

I was warmly greeted by the gentleman at the door (5 service there), which set a great first impression. However, as soon as I walked downstairs, it felt like the space had lost its speakeasy vibe. I was seated right near the stairs and could feel cold air from outside every time the door opened, which made the experience uncomfortable. I was also surprised to see how much the cocktail menu had been reduced. When I asked about it, the response was that "the place changed a lot." That's fair -- places evolve -- but instead of highlighting the improvements or new strengths, the explanation focused negatively on what the bar used to be. As someone who really enjoyed the former version, that wasn't reassuring. Unfortunately, the drinks themselves didn't make up for it. One of the two cocktails was simply not good. No one came back to check on the drinks, and when I asked for the check after about 20 minutes, there was no acknowledgment that I had barely touched mine or any inquiry about my experience. Overall, a place I once enjoyed and recommended now feels more like a standard dive bar where " Mixologist " were replaced by bartender and were fun cool looking and tasty drinks were replaced by " less complex cocktail ", lacking the warmth and attention to detail that once made it special.

It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. For drinks, we ordered the Smoke Show and the King Tusk. The Smoke Show was beautifully balanced. The Grey Goose vodka and Dolin Dry gave it that classic martini backbone, but the fino sherry and brine added depth. We walked in without a reservation around 6:20 p.m., and they were able to accommodate us at a shared table until 7:15. The menu surprised me a bit. Since I associated the address with Eleven Madison Park, I wasn't expecting to see items like wings stuffed with sausage, which were done in partnership with Jungsik. We ordered those along with the mushroom burger and asked them to cut the burger in half for us. The cocktail menu was creative and a little intimidating, with unconventional ingredients like cream cheese and green curry. I went with a fruity Hendrick's-based drink, and my friend ordered the spicy green curry martini. Both were good. Mine didn't taste very strong, but it also wasn't overly sweet because there was enough bitterness to balance it out. The green curry martini was more adventurous but still worked. Service was mixed. There was a woman standing near us, so we tried ordering food with her, but she seemed hesitant to come over. Maybe she wasn't a server or was newer. For drinks, she brought over someone more seasoned, who quickly helped guide us based on our preferred taste profiles. Her suggestions were very good. The mushroom burger was the highlight for me. It was a little salty, but the crispy mushroom and soft bun were a great combination. I honestly wished I had more than half. The wings were okay. They were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, but coated in a Dorito-like powder that made them very messy. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd come back, especially for the mushroom burger.
