Great dinner! for a national chain steakhouse. You get what you expect at a reasonable price. The complimentary honey wheat bread is ok -the Outback Steakhouse bread is better. We started with and enjoyed the parmesan crusted spinach dip - the parmesan cheese topping added an extra flavor. Flo's Filet and NY Strip are favorites and they were cooked as ordered. There are a ton of great side choices. The extra charge for signature mac cheese and crispy brussel sprouts are worth it. The loaded baked potato is good but could use more of the toppings. The broccoli and salad are healthy choices I always like the French onion soup. Skip the asparagus which was dry and wood like. Service was prompt and friendly. We are return customers to LongHorn, and this was our first bad experience. My family of five arrived at the Williston location around 5:00 PM and were told there would be a 45-minute wait, which we were fine with. However, as time went on, other guests were seated before us. After waiting about an hour, we asked the hostess why we had not yet been seated. She explained that the restaurant only had three tables that could accommodate parties of five or more. We continued to wait another 30 minutes, at which point both our children--and the adults--had reached their tipping point. I questioned the hostess again about LongHorn's ability to accommodate families larger than four and did not receive a satisfactory response. I then offered that we were willing to squeeze into a booth just so we could be seated and eat. Once we said that, it was suddenly acceptable, and we were seated--after more than an hour and a half of waiting. LongHorn advertises itself as family-friendly, but this experience calls that into question. Having only three tables that can accommodate parties of five or more during a dinner rush is concerning and makes us question whether our family should attempt dinner at any LongHorn location in the future. read more

Steaks are seasoned just right and cooked perfect. The ribs are fall off the bone and delicious. Chicken is juicy and very flavorful. My favorite desert is the chocolate stampede which serves two. For the price, not bad food. Good portions: It's your standard chain steakhouse, and this location has pleasant service and looks fairly clean. However... However, as we were about to leave, we saw a bus boy use a broom and dust bin -- the kind with a stick handle that you use with a broom to sweep the dust into -- on a TABLE TOP to clean up a glass he had broken. While I'm sure (or I hope) he used a solid disinfectant spray to clean the table after, I still would not want to eat off a table that had been swept with a floor broom. Okay, where do I start? Californian local visiting Vermont and I must say the food me and my date had was phenomenal. Appetizers were outstanding to say the least. We had their version of blooming pedals along with some stuffed mushrooms. Both of those items were mouth watering down to the last bite. We also had two alcoholic beverages being the mango margarita along with the white peach sangria. Not the strongest, but also not the weakest when it came to alcohol content. Regardless both drinks were delicious. Both of us had a steak dinner plate, both steaks cooked to our liking and both steaks were 11/10. Staff was very helpful and extremely tentative. We were immediately sat and immediately greeted by Morgan, she was so attentive to us the ENTIRE time. Not to mention in the duration of us being there she got completely slammed and was still so on top of making sure we were taken care of. I have been serving tables for years and I was seriously so impressed by her ability to multitask and give incredible service. I want to come back just for her alone. On top of her amazing service everything we ate was delicious, and came out in a very timely manner. She also let us know about the status of all of our food coming out. The day was quite hectic and we finally found a place to get some dinner... it took a bit to get seated and then the waitress looked rather tired but we all pressed on to ordering. I decided upon a strawberry daiquiri with whipped cream, a bacon cheeseburger with apple smoked bacon and fixings with an amazing fully loaded baked potato with a garden fresh chopped salad with honey mustard dressing. All aspects of my dinner were quite delicious.... my friend ordered a cosmopolitan adult beverage, a hearty steak fillet with fresh broccoli which was a bit raw and had to to go back for a bit more roasting... and a chopped salad as well with vinaigrette sauce. The bread was hot and fresh outta the oven with smooth and creamy butter. The food was all quite delicious and the ambiance was very nice not too loud. Came here on a Friday as a first timer for lunch- Immediately loved the kitsch cattleman decor, warm woodsy barn look. We were seated without a wait and served promptly- My bf opted for the rib eye steak and I had grilled shrimp skewers with rice and my choice of side: smoked mac and cheese which was insanely rich and delicious, although the bacon and smokiness can be overwhelming if you had this as a whole meal. Perhaps fortunately for us, the rib eye came back medium well, rather than medium rare as ordered, we had to send it back and once it arrived properly, the flavor and texture was definitely up to par- We ended up getting it for free, comped on the house! My shrimp were juicy and well seasoned, for 12.99 I thought it was a perfect price and portion for lunch. I'd be interested in coming back for dinner next time, I know the portions and selection are a little more generous, also because I didn't get to experience Longhorn's full potential in terms of appetizers or desserts. read more

We had a really good experience at this location. We were in the area on vacation during COVID. When traveling we always like to support local places but everything was closing so early so we decided to go with Long Horn. The person who took the order was absolutely fantastic. Polite, happy and really personable on the phone. Our order was simple, 2 orders of wings, one loaded potato soup and a kids sirloin. Everything was really delicious. Better than the locations in Jersey near my house. The one thing that really stood out was the staff. The person who took the order and the person who delivered the food were just so great. We seem to be caught up in an unplanned quest to see how many Longhorn's we can discover. This one is the latest, and not surprisingly pretty much the same as the others. And we ate pretty much what we always eat here, starting with a Flo's Fillet. It's a consistent and consistently pretty good cut of meat, and when it's cooked correctly -- as it was here -- it's a reliable and tasty dining choice. From the Ceaser salad, to the steaks, to the kick ass red rock river shrimp... it's all so damn good. Right now, as many of us do, I have a lot of free time on my hands. So I decided to write this review based a 2019 experience. It was Father's Day and even though my party had a reservation, still had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. I don't fault the restaurant for this though they were probably overbooked. Once we were seated, I ordered the teriyaki ribeye medium rare with a baked potato. I was then informed they did not have the pineapple garnish that it's topped with. Again, it was busy and I don't fault them for this. What I do fault them for however, is the horrible way in which my steak was served and the mortifying service which accompanied it at no extra charge. After being served what is pictured below, I politely explained to the waitress my steak was completely raw an inedible (even though my entire family was outraged). I'm fairly familiar with the restaurant business, so I know sometimes these things can happen. They shouldn't; but they do. And at a place like Longhorn steakhouse, you almost expect it. What I did not expect were the next words out of my waitresses mouth. She asked very casually if I would like to "take the steak home and cook it myself". To her, this seemed like a perfectly reasonable solution. I was overwhelmed with options for how to reply. Should I inform her about how unsanitary and unhealthy such a task would be? Should I mention that I paid upwards of $20 plus meal tax for a raw steak to be served to me, when that cut of meat costs probably $11 at the grocery store at most? If I wanted to cook my own steak love, couldn't I have just stayed home and done that? My jaw hung there a bit, as my indecision grew stronger. Seeing the startled look on my face, she offered to "get me something else". I let her know that my appetite had subsided and the entree was removed from the bill as I sat there eating a baked potato for dinner. I guess in the end, I kind of just felt bad for my waitress. Poor girl. She probably considers places like chili's and longhorn to be high end restaurants and has never enjoyed a true fine dining experience before. Which is okay. But to be a server and be so naive as to ask a customer to cook their own meal and pay full price is just a bit inexcusable. 2 stars because they were busy but my God...look at that thing. I hope in the future longhorn will do a better job of training their staff (both kitchen and front of house) so no one has to have a similar experience, even on busy nights read more

Our daughter graduated from Champlain College when Covid was raging, so her graduation was virtual ... from our living room in NJ. This weekend they had a real ceremony on campus so the students were able to come back and experience what they missed last June. To celebrate, we tried to go to Texas Roadhouse around the corner but they said there would be a 90 minute wait. We drove over to Longhorn, instead. They were busy as well and we were told there would be an hour wait. Okay, we could do that. To kill some time we went to the stores there for 45 minutes and then came back and were seated right away. Our server Maura was awesome and attentive. Our food was delicious. All three of us had steaks -- so good. When Maura realized we were there for our daughter's graduation she took our daughter's entree off the bill! What a nice and unexpected surprise! Excellent time with friends at Longhorn during our vacation to Vermont. The food was cooked perfectly and we did not have any complaints. We were pleasantly surprised that the location was open during snow storm Harper. I did not take pictures of the food because I was soo hungry...pictures were an afterthought. I ordered the cowboy ribeye and i requested it to be prepared well. The sides were salad with ranch dressing and broccoli. The steak was cooked perfectly. The waiter was also so kind to bring complimentary soups. Lobster and shrimp chowder and loaded bake potato. Both were very good. The waiter was attentive and helpful. He would often check in ask if we needed anything as well as refill our drinks. We did not have to ask for refills. He refilled without being asked. Great customer service and friendly. The decorations remind me of a Texas ranch. Not that I've ever been, but just saying. They have cattle horns on the wall with pictures of ranch hands and mountains with waterfalls. Crisp apples, gooey caramelized sugar baked into crisp crust with ice cream topping. Yea that tasted pretty good. The cheesecake was just cheesecake.
