One of my favorite places for dine In or even take out is amazing here! Never have I had a complaint! While dining in it has nice dim lighting amazingly tasteful food and some strong margaritas!! I'll go back time and time again!!

The staff is extremely attentive and the food is very good. It's nice to have a good Mexican restaurant in the area!

Great food, great service, and generous portions. This is a great place to saddle up to the bar solo or bring a family for dinner. 10/10!

On March 21, we had a reservation, but when we arrived, no one addressed us for about 20 minutes. When we finally spoke to the "hostess", she mentioned that we were assigned a table "out back," which sounded unappealing (though it turned out to be fine). She then informed us that it was really busy and "it could be a while". I said back to her "well, that's a bad start", she said "I know". The whole restaurant had a strong fishy smell, which shouldn't happen with fresh seafood. No one came over to greet us until we decided to go to the bar to find a server. It was the same server who was attending to the table next to us, and she only acknowledged us after we spoke up. She didn't take our drink orders or offer us water. After we finally ordered drinks, we waited 20 minutes only to discover our drinks sitting at the bar--our martinis had already become warm. As for the food, the Rib Eye steak was perfect, but the Shrimp and Scallop Scampi was terrible, and the other pasta dishes with lobster were just okay. Overall, it was a disappointing experience with mediocre food and inattentive staff. I will not be returning to this restaurant again.

The oil was infused with lots of crushed garlic, which left the oil itself so fragrant and tasting of garlic. Perfection. I ordered a Greek Salad with some grilled chicken added. My husband ordered a Caesar salad and their Margherita pizza. The Greek salad was magnificent... beautiful presentation, huge salad and lots of wonderful ingredients (mixed greens, marinated artichoke hearts, chickpeas, red onion, Greek olives, feta cheese and roasted red peppers), all of which I love. I always get it with Caesar dressing, just my preference, and I'm always glad I do. Their Caesar dressing was particularly delicious to add to the enjoyment of the salad. What was even a greater surprise was how much I LOVED my husband's pizza. He always offers me a slice, and I usually take one bite and say thank you. This pizza was so freaking good, I ate the entire slice. It was amazing. I think it was the pizza sauce because that pizza style usually is boring to me. This was AMAZING. Another restaurant I'm sad I don't live near. It'd be a really long car ride to get here from where I live, but if YOU are in the area, make sure you give them a try. So worth your time and money.

We enjoyed the mussels gauzzetto and calamari fritti. The Mediterranean chicken was well prepared and tasty. The pasta special was spinach feta almond slices in a light tomato sauce and I substituted penne for fettucine - I thoroughly enjoyed this dish. The margherita pizza was good. We suspect you need reservations for prime dining hours on a weekend. The decor feels a little dated but the food is great. We can forgive the $2 for a quarter loaf of bread because it's only a few dollars and the bread was fresh and served with garlic oil, not like overpriced $10-$12 Parker House Rolls, but it's not a good trend to charge for bread. Service was good until we wanted to pay our bill - that took a little bit. We'll happily return.

Every bit of food was prepared just right. We did eat a pineapple salad that was so fresh and crisp and not overly dressed, which was on the Specials menu. I also ate the Halibut for my main course, which was also on the Specials menu. This was nicely done as well. My wife ate the pork tenderloin, from the regular menu, and it was delicious. The coup de grâce was the dessert. The ice cream of the day, which was an maple gingersnap flavor was outstanding, and carrot cake was hands down the best I have had in my life! The service was good, fast and efficient. If you are looking for a very good, but not inexpensive meal, we would absolutely recommend Harrison's.

Con - none of the 4 of us even liked our meals - they were inedible. We descended the narrow steep staircase into the dark dining room; outdoor seating was not open. The waitress promptly brought us menus and waters. There was a good variety of wines and we settled on the Sancerre. Charging for bread is not a good trend so $10 for 4 Parker House Rolls was disappointing. We also ordered the mussels and asiago fries. The chef seems to favor creamy white wine sauces - the added cream adds a heavy taste without adding flavor. The shrimp & sausage on mushroom ravioli had the cream sauce and cubes of sausage. The pasta primavera also had the cream sauce. It was super bland. We added chicken (see the photo of the chicken breast added to the top side of the dish not cooked in the dish). The salmon and its corresponding carrots were spiced with bebere which is very mild but not particularly enjoyable. And finally, the grilled rib-eye was bad, really bad. It was gelatinous and the worst steak we've ever had. I've only ever seen a steak cooked like this when it's cooked at too low a heat. We fed the leftover steak, chicken, and salmon to the dog.

I always love their sushi bar! It is fresh and AH-Mazing!! If you get there early you can watch the chef prepare it fresh. They have so many rolls and combinations, it is hands down the areas best.... And I'm not just saying that, because trust me, I'm a picky sushi connoisseur! The hot bar is also the best, because the soup combinations and choices are usually awesome... Lobster Bisque being my fave! Just be careful with the soup lids because they don't always close too tight (ouch - I've gotten burned once, hence only 4 stars). Sometimes the fried chicken at the hot bar is dried out, and I just can't deal with that! OH NO...Don't mess with my chicken!! Then the selections at the deli are awesome, but mostly pastas... They need to work on that, but they do have some higher end gourmet soups and quality microwaveable meals which are hearty and delicious, but a little pricey... And...(drumroll please) STARBUCKS! Woo hoo! Need I say more.... And next to that a nice spot to eat your lunch, snack or dinner.. And with it being open 24 hours a day you just can't top that!!

Aside from Barre Dogs, there's hardly anything to look forward to eating at in Barre. The Quarry I hope is the start of a good turn in Barre business however. The employees they've hired have shown that they're very determined to give the best service they can and it shows. The menu isn't very large, but their portions certainly are. I have a very special place in my heart for any restaurant that sells Calamari. Seeing Calamari on the menu was certainly unexpected and when I saw that they flavor it with buffalo sauce, I nearly soiled myself from delight. I certainly hope this sets a trend for better businesses and adds to a more aesthetically pleasing Barre Main street. Keep it up guys!

Then came the food 45 minutes later missing French fries and pickles on mine, no pickles for my husband and just a few fries. It too the poor little waitress 30 minutes to find out they ran out of fries about pickles. This is another local restaurant going to crash and burn. The poor 3 top next to us waited over an hour for 3 salads. I spoke with some of the other customers who expressed they wouldn't be returning as we would not. So disappointing.
