The terrace definitely has a better ambiance, and a gorgeous view of the golf course and mountains; the dining room is arranged a bit awkwardly and doesn't have much of an atmosphere, but the exceptional staff & chef make up for it. Really classy move how the chef/owner comes out of the kitchen and stops by every table to greet guests and thank them for coming! And the food... amazing. We *love* the duck tacos! I've had the churrasco steak, fish tacos, lomo saltado steak... every dish was tastier than the last. Boyfriend always chooses the steak fajitas, he loves it. Perfect every time. Great desserts too! We are really looking forward to going back and especially on the terrace.

I ordered the special - blackened salmon tacos. Nice pieces of salmon with fresh corn salsa in a sauce I wanted to drink! Every bite was delicious. Two others order the regular fish tacos with mango slaw and they both loved their meal. The fourth person gave an enthusiastic thumbs up to the chicken fajitas. It was my first eating here, but it won't be my last. Great food, service, and ambience. Easy 5 stars.

I love when the local bike shop is *truly* a LOCAL bike shop, and not some generic conglomerate that has hired locals. We got so many excellent recommendations on where to ride, what to look out for, and any setup changes we should make based on our individual setups. For those who didn't bring bikes, renting bikes was quick and painless. They took the time to get us dialed in before we were off to ride. The merch was top-notch. My only (very minor) disappointment was that the green hat that I bought to match the jersey I also bought was a children's hat. I missed that at time of purchase and didn't realize it until we were back at our rental for the night. It's okay, I brought it back the next day and they were cool about it and let me swap my kids hat for a different adult-size hat, even though they didn't have any green adult hats. I wish we had a few extra days in the area, I would have loved to join some of the local group rides that seem to meet here to ride regularly. We did eat lunch here one of the days. It was so nice to eat outside. There was a good flow of people in and out, but it didn't feel overwhelmingly busy. We had a group of 8, and yet everything arrived just as quickly as we ordered it. I had a crunch wrap. It felt like a lot of food, but it hit the spot. If I find myself back in the area, I will definitely visit again. Highly recommend.

Ranch Camp is a cool little restaurant and bicycle repair shop combo -- for real! I just wish the…read morefood was as good as the overall vibe and the amazing service we received. Let's start with what we enjoyed during our visit: the drinks were good... the atmosphere was cool (more like a contemporary "cabin" vibe, which was definitely inviting)... and the staff were all stellar!! Where Ranch Camp let us down on this visit was the food. In fact, we desperately wanted to love the experience because everything LOOKED fantastic. However, all the food we ordered was bland. It all started with the pork nachos, which our party of 3 ordered as an appetizer. It was piled high and dripping with ingredients... but the dish completely lacked flavor. The pork was perfectly tender but tasted flavorless (until I added hot sauce and salt). I would also recommend they serve the dish with pico de gallo or salsa to boost the flavor. We had the same feeling with the burrito bowls. Two of us ordered different burritos (opting for bowls instead of tortillas), and we both thought the flavor was just okay. And on top of that, both of our bowls were lukewarm. In fact, the entrées weren't even hot enough to melt the cheese. I wish I would have sent the food back, but we were in a bit of a hurry. Finally, my friend James ordered the Chicken Quesadilla, which he also thought was "just okay." Oh, and we noted that a table near us sent back food... so not sure what was up with that, but we we weren't surprised based on our overall experience. Final Thoughts: Prior to visiting Ranch Camp, I read plenty of reviews praising the restaurant, so I'd like to think that they were just having a bad day.

And what a great choice it was, too. We were greeted by a host as we entered the restaurant, and we were offered seating indoors or outside on the sidewalk patio. The air outside was cool, so we opted for the patio. After looking over the menu, I chose two street tacos filled with braised pork, bbq sauce, and pickled jalapeños. While we waited, we snacked on the chips and salsa appetizer. The chips tasted as if they were the last of the day's batch, but to be fair, we arrived late in the evening. However, the salsa was delicious and seemed as if it was made in-house. Enough heat to make your tongue dance, but not so hot to have you gasping for water. And it was just so flavorful, too. When my tacos arrived, each one came with two corn tortillas, which was good because the tacos were a bit juicy. And they were oh-so good. The bbq sauce was not too sweet and very flavorful. The pork was well-cooked and tender. It was one of the top 3 tacos I've eaten, and I've eaten many. I wish I could say the rice was special, but it's your garden-variety Spanish rice, not unlike the box mix from the grocery store. And the black beans, while good tasting, seemed no different than the canned variety. Had the tacos not been so dang good, I might not have been so forgiving of the sides. But it looks (and tasted) like whatever money they might have saved on beans and rice was more than made up for in the tacos. (My wife chose the traditional tacos, and she loved those, as well.) If I had to pinpoint it, I would say it seems like Cali-Mex instead of Tex-Mex, as we're used to, but others might see it as more like actual Mexican fare. (I'll admit to not being too familiar with that style of food.) As for the restaurant itself, I didn't see much of it except for when I went to wash up (as I said, the tacos were juicy!), but there was a full bar and plenty of tables (it was quite full at the time). As for the staff, Hannah did a great job of taking care of us. She was friendly and attentive without being overly so. We're visiting Vermont for about 6 more weeks, and I think Julio's will be a weekly visit while we're here.

We were seated quickly, but waited quite some time before we got our order in. The portions were small for the price, and mediocre flavor at best. The service was friendly but sparse. Went for lunch a few months ago had an incredible experience with our server and food. Reached out to them about catering for a party more than 6 months away. Additionally I brought back my whole family a few weeks later for dinner. 100% completely different experiences. Food was terrible, server was horrendous, they placed us next to a loud Bluetooth speaker that was for the whole restaurant. I had to switch chairs with my partner because I literally couldn't bear how loud it was I couldn't focus. Fast forward to today. Wrapping up the catering menu for the event coming up and ordered a small take out order for myself while passing through from a hike in Franconia. I've ordered the same thing the 3x I've been there. They called me and told me it's not likely I would be able to get it celiac friendly( when every other time I ordered it, they welcomed it with no hesitation), we spoke briefly and the agreed they likely could. They told me it would be ready soon. I got there 10 minutes later and stood at the check in/host stand for 5 minutes. I was looking down the hall where you could hear all the wait staff in their waitstaff room. I waited to catch someone's eye so I could pick up my order. I almost walked down the hall but decided to be patient. As I was about to walk down or call out because it had been so long of standing and waiting I am greeted by a cloud of vape smoke. A few seconds later a server walked out and caught my eye and looked like they had seen a ghost catching them in the act. I told him I was picking up for myself and he said he would be back with it. Another female server followed them out and I asked hey was the vape smoke and she laughed and said it was. I said huh that's pretty bad, she said nothing. I got my food, asked the first servers name. Left. I emailed the person coordinating the catering and he said that he has been getting on the staff about vaping in public spaces and they claimed it was someone vaping outside across the waitstaff room where the door was open. 100% not the case as I literally watched the smoke exit the room they were all in and the servers walking through it after they knew I was there waving it out the outside door. Do not bring your kids here. What really bothered me was the wait staff lying about it to their boss. On top of that. The steak in the Honolulu bowl tasted absolutely disgusting, like it was old/outdated. This is so unfortunate because it use to be amazing, the staff was incredible and food consistent. You will find 100x more consistency at the Little Grille right down the road.
