Seasoned Steakhouse Wings
Lori N.

My first time ever at a Longhorn Steakhouse. Knowing this was a chain, I didn't have high expectations. However, I was very pleased with my experience at this location. An extra star goes to the excellent service we received from our server, Denisha (not sure if I spelled her name correctly). She was super friendly and helpful! Denisha was familiar with all the items on the menu and provided great detailed suggestions. And she was spot on! She also checked on us regularly, and really helped enhance our dining experience! The soft and warm bread is pretty addicting. For apps, the Texas Tonions and Seasoned Steakhouse Wings are popular classics. Both good starters, and the tonions weren't overly greasy, which was a pleasant surprise. The porterhouse was nicely grilled. The meat itself was a bit chewy, but fine for what it was and reasonably priced. Actually, overall, the food is well-priced. This location was so lively and fun! Totally PACKED. Looking forward to returning next year!

Pretty much your typical LongHorn location -- consistent food, good service, and a clean, comfortable atmosphere. Nothing more, nothing less. You'll get exactly what you expect here, and that's not a bad thing at all. Solid choice for a casual steak dinner.

LongHorn Steakhouse is a casual steakhouse chain owned by Darden Restaurants. This location can be found off of Grape St. in Whitehall. It's been a little over two years since I been here and not much has changed. The food and service are still fantastic. I ordered the Outlaw Ribeye again. It was juicy, had minimal fat, and cooked to a perfect medium rare. No sauce was necessary. I also had the opportunity to try the Seasoned Steakhouse Wings, the Shrimp & Lobster Chowder, and the Steakhouse Mac & Cheese. All delicious! If you're a fan of dry rubs you have to try the wings! As far as service goes, the hostess wasn't very welcoming, but our server Denisha was awesome. She was friendly, respectful, and accommodating. LongHorn continues to impress me. I will be back! Great service! This restaurant is consistent across the country. Was here for a college graduation celebration. On a busy Saturday night, kudos to the host table and server. Absolutely excellent. Extra thank you for the dessert for the graduate. That capped a special night, and made the young lady extremely happy. As usual the steaks were so tasty. My recommendation is Medium rare Sirloin "Pittsburgh Style." You'll thank me later. This plus the sides were so good. Comfortable dining table and clean place. If you're in the area, by all means go here.

Came for hub's birthday last Thursday. Came out around 7:00 pm. We were seated right away. This was our first time at this location. Our waitress was great. Took our drink orders promptly and provided hot bread. She checked on us regularly. We ordered our meal and I was told no baked potatoes. I was bummed but went with mash. When our meals came out low and behold there was a delicious baked potato. The waitress said she decided to surprise me when the kitchen informed her they were ready - it was a very nice surprise. Husband's salmon was great. My steak was outstanding. He even got a small birthday sundae! We ordered cheesecake to go. Their cheesecake is very good! All in all it was a nice night out with absolutely great service!

Haven't been to one of these in a long time and was very impressed. Service was a little slow but very polite. - Bread: Nice and fresh and tasty - Margarita: strong and delicious - Babyback Ribs - Not fall off the bone but good and tasty - NY Steak - Cooked to ordering. Tasty. - Ribeye - Cooked to ordering. Also tasty. - Mash potatoes - already super buttery and on top they put whole slab of butter - I could see my future self sweating butter so I had to remove it. This is one of the cheaper steakhouse options. It's not crazy priced and the food is tasty. They LOVE butter. Expect them to add it to everything. Potatoes? butter. Steak? butter. Water? butter. Your arteries will clog but either way...was a fan and would go again. Food: 5/5 Pricing: 4/5 Service: 5/5

I went here today for brunch with my friend and we had the vegetarian empanadas. Wow. I think they were the most delicious ones I have ever had. That's saying a lot cuz I'm Latina. The dough was the perfect texture and you could taste the freshness. And the filler ingredients were a delicious balance of flavors. For lunch I had the Ensalada nicoise. I'm very picky about my tuna - I only buy tuna from Basque Country in Spain. The salad was absolute perfection. The tuna was incredible. Each ingredient was fresh and absolutely wonderful. The salad was a perfect voice for lunch. The service was wonderful. The space was beautiful. Can't wait to return.

The only food similar to Argentina was the empanadas, but were really small for a $12.00 price point. The flan was really disappointing, they don't even put dulce de leche or cream on it, it tasted t like one bought at a supermarket, so dull and again $12.00 ?? The Milanese de pollo was really good but not close to Argentinian style, no fries no fried eggs included. My issue is that they use the Argentinian style label as a marketing tool and they are not even close. The price was ridiculously high for the experience.

It's pretty dark in there, so they have those little green shaded lamps at the bar. I went with the Cardamadre, because it has pineapple and absinthe and sounded interesting. Definitely glad I chose that - it was fruity, but not overly sweet, with some bitterness from the absinthe and spices. I also had an order of fries, which were shoestring cut and came with a garlic aioli. They were a good snack before the show, and while $9 for fries is steep for fast casual, was not bad for a solo diner at a seated restaurant.

Upon entering the restaurant, there are crystal chandeliers, bright colors, French posters, and a lively atmosphere. The restaurant had a lot of potential until we experienced the service and cuisine. I brought my Supper Club here, and we had a group of 8 of us. There was also a very large group at the restaurant. We were neglected on several occasions, and it took us 2 HOURS just to get our food order. That's not an exaggeration. Our waitress was rather snippy with us, and ended up apologizing at the end but it did make for an unpleasant experience. When we finally received our bread, we were so hungry that we scarfed it down despite it being not so great sour dough bread. Every dish was flavorless and left us wanting more. I had to send back the steak on two occasions: once for being undercooked and once for being overcooked. I ended up getting my meal for free. The Coquilles St. Jacques had the smallest scallops without the lovely scallop shell its usually served in. The shrimp cocktail tasted like anything you could get at the grocery store. The Nicoise Salad was just sad and flavorless. The porkchop and escargot had the most flavor. I will definitely not be back to this establishment. Our group did enjoy each other's company, and it created a very memorable experience even though it was an overall bad experience!
