We were at Longhorns in Anderson SC @245-330pm today. We ordered a well done sirloin today as usual. The steak was brought to table dropped off as waitress fled off. The steak had blood running from it and it was very easy to look at the meat & tell it wasn't cooked thoroughly. She brought it bk the second time and it wasn't done. The same thing happened the third time. By now steak was charred & dry on outside. Not fit to eat. The bake potatoe reheated. Shouldn't be served at all. Left over from previous meal it looked like. She got manager who was also involved at this time. He knocked off 25%. The waitress told me she didn't cook it. (But she brought it to the table 3 times not right.) Offered to cook another one but we couldn't Stay there any longer. To get some of our money s worth we just ate it. Not fit to serve. We eat here at least once a week. The potatoes have been reheated two times lately. We sat third booth behind the person s station who greeted us when we walked in. Ty. read more

I have visited many other Longhorns in the past and they have not been my favorite. My steaks have always been tougher than other places. After this visit we will definitely return. We arrived at 5pm on Friday evening. Cara our server came right over and through the meal provided excellent service! Great personality! She wasn't over the top but gave us what we needed when we needed it and we wanted for nothing. I love when a server gives their opinions on the options, who would know better? I ordered the 12 oz ribeye, brussels sprouts (which were amazing and a nod given from Cara) and the sweet potato with 6 shrimp and a Strawberry Margarita. Everything was delicious and came out in great timing. My steak was not super tough as in the past. I think we left around 7:30 and there was a long wait at the front door. Oh - it looked so promising from all the photos! Alas, it was not. The Onion Soup was barely warm. Salad overdressed. The burger was good - the fries had to be sent back because they were ice cold. The ribeye did not have a sear on it. The twice-baked potato had minimal portions of all the goodness it was supposed to have. But the real culprit? It was the lack of picking up dirty dishes between each course. So look closely in the pic - we are finally at dessert, having to lean over the remnants of our first course (salad/soup) and second course, entrees. We had even asked our server to pick up the plates, which did not happen. This wasn't just our table - it was everyone's table. And then you pay by scanning the QVC code at your table. There were runners dropping food off at the tables, but for some reason management deemed it not necessary to have bus persons pick up dirty dishes. This is the 2nd time we have been to the longhorn in Clemson, the food was excellent service not so hot my drink was served with her fingers on the rim of my glass, that's a big no no. Our server never came around after our meal was served to see if cooked correctly (it eas) or to see if we needed ant thing. I really like this place. The steak was delicious and the lobster was awesome. I have dined at LongHorn multiple times for the past few months and I have always served by excellent waiters. I can't wait to return. I suggest perhaps LongHorn could start taking reservation for small parties - 2 people or maybe collaborate with third party website for reservation. read more

The food in this restaurant is absolutely the best food from a steak restaurant I have ever had for starters, the buttermilk chicken sandwich is amazing, as well as the sirloin steak the chicken fingers are also very tasty and all of these are in a great price range. The servers almost immediately ask what you want to drink and they take your order very quickly and the cooks get your food ready in almost no time. Inside of the store also gives you a vibe of Texas restaurant combined with sports. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Coco our waitress was great. I think only one of two that were actually wearing a mask the right way. The baked potato was not cooked through. Oddly enough it was hot on one side and barely warm on the other side when we split the potato between my husband and me. Steak was a perfect color but barely warm as well. We ate here last night for my wife's birthday. I have to say the steak was wonderful. We did not receive our salads until our meal came. There were apologies everywhere. As usual. My little small lobster tail was undercooked. I did not say anything because the waitress seemed very busy. But I was not happy paying $32 for an under cooked large shrimp. there are not many places in Anderson worth spending your money at. The restaurant scene here is mediocre at best. We came here for my fiancé's birthday dinner. Drinks came really quickly. It took about 20+ minutes for our entrees to come out and when they did, it was pretty subpar. My mother-in-law order baby back ribs and they were only warm, not super hot. My fiancé's shrimp were pretty cold. My lobster tail was good, not really seasoned and kinda room temperature. They also forgot to bring the salads for the meals so we had to wait for those to come. Since it was also my fiancé's birthday, we wanted them to sing to him. Dinner on a weeknight when I arrived at 9:00 PM and I was the only one in there when I left at 9:30. It's a chain, so your experience here is going to be the same everywhere. I went with the 8 ounce sirloin steak with a loaded baked potato and asked for the "steakhouse mac & cheese" as well. Steak was cooked to order, the potato was perfectly fluffy. That mac & cheese? Horns not long enough....food was short. No cowboys . Wanted athletic Mexican food. Did not have salsa and chips.

It's been awhile since I've been here. It was for my husbands birthday and this is where he wanted to go. They were pretty fast to get us seated. Bread was nice and fresh and our drinks came out fast. I went to open the silverware to cut the bread and there was a chunk of previous food on it. I opened the next set of silverware and there was food on the fork and the knife was dirty so I just tore the bread. I asked the server for new silverware and showed her the food and she just was like okay and never brought anymore back. Thankfully my kids ordered finger food so we used their silverware. The kids food was pretty good. My sons burger was a little undercooked with pink which isn't how we normally eat it but she also didn't ask how we wanted it cooked. My husband ordered the salmon with rice and broccoli and he received fries and broccoli. We had 3 different people serving our table so communication was not the best. The salmon was over cooked which was disappointing but I used Tatar so it made it a little softer. I think next time I'd still to burgers and steaks and wait to go to red lobster or fishbone for seafood. read more

Longhorn is a great place to stop in a small town because you know what to expect- and this location exceeds those expectations. It's clean and you can tell they're taking extra steps to keep diners safe. The service (by the bartender, Kimberly) was perfect! Attentive but not intrusive, and she seemed to know everyone by name beside us. Both my boyfriend and I used to work for the concept in a previous life (not the same location or even same state) and we've eaten everything, but as usual the 7 Pepper Sirloin Salad didn't disappoint. We both couldn't resist. The soups are consistent and the blue cheese dressing is always remarkable. This location seems to be head and shoulders above the ones we've been to, and that credit goes to the managing partner, Jotham. He has a culture here that puts the employee on the same level as the guest and it doesn't go unnoticed. When you take care of people, they take care of people, and you can see that in action here. This is one of the happiest and well ran restaurants we've eat at in this area. Our server, Orchelle, was an absolute wonder. Made our meal so enjoyable. As we were seating and enjoying our meal, we could tell by the smiles and banter between the staff and that's including the GM, Jotham, you could tell that they all enjoyed being there. The Longhorn restaurant in Anderson is very good, we went there on a Friday night around 8 and only had to wait 10 minutes to get a table. I ordered the 6oz filet and it was about the best I have ever had, served with salad and baked sweet potato made a great dinner for me, my wife had the grilled chicken salad and it was so big she took half of it home. Anderson has limited choices of nice restaurants, and I do like this one, but Sunday night, it took 3 tries to get a drink order correct (30 minutes), food was OK but not to specifications. Med Rare steak was Rare, Medium burger was Well. What was surprising is that with all the issues we had with drinks and dinner, we never saw a manager or received any kind of accommodation.
