This is by far one of the busiest locations I've been too, not sure why but even on Wednesday have waited 10+ mins for just 2ppl so good luck if you got a big family. The food is what you'd expect, steaks cooked well, yummy rolls , well topped salads and delicious sweet potatoes always!! Wish they never got rid of the peanuts though. Staff was a lot better this last time we visited too, first time not so much the girl kept standing by the POS system with other girls talking most of the time. I ate there for my son's graduation 3 weeks ago. Service was terrible, our orders were wrong out of a party of 12 3 people never dot their food. The checks were wrong and we were very dissatisfied. I picked up a to go order today. Got home and my baked potatoes is brown like its been sitting in a warmer all day. My steak is under cooked, and my salad barely has lettuce. I called the restaurant to get our party of 7 on the wait list. I am not sure what good that did since we were told an hour and a half wait and nothing moved along until we arrived 30 minutes later. We all had to be there. When we were all there, we were told we would be called shortly to be set up for a table. Well, that meant getting in another line and waiting about 15 minutes to reach one hostess desk where they check you in and tell you to see the hostess at the next desk. This hostess then has you wait in a preselected spot. From there, it was quick but the entire wait AFTER we arrived was nearly 2 hours. The service was quick and the server was polite, accommodating, and did a great job. We tipped appropriately for his service. Managers came over to check on the quality of our food but this was due to use having issues. Drinks - The restaurant ran out of clean glasses so our non-alcoholic drinks were served in Styrofoam to-go cups. Not a big deal but I wonder why the alcoholic drinks were so weak? Saving money on the part of the restaurant? Running out of glasses also indicates a lack of preparedness. Food - 2 of us ordered Prime Rib. Our server explained that he would have to see if they had any left, saying they often run out of Prime Rib early on Saturday nights. If this is a common problem, one would think that they would purchase more Prime Rib to prepare for heavy ordering of it on Saturday nights. He came back after a couple of minutes to tell us there was no more Prime Rib. There were 4 sirloin steaks ordered. Only one was cooked to order. We sent back two of them to be cooked to medium which was requested. At best, the steaks were medium rare. When they were returned, they were tough and difficult to chew. The two of us who ordered Prime Rib ended up having the ribs. I agree that they are "fall off the bone" ribs. The flavor was good. The sauce was burned onto the outside of the ribs making the outside hard to chew. One of the orders was cold to the touch. And I mean cold, not cool. They took it back twice to warm it. One of us had a sweet potato with our ribs. The sweet potato was hard and almost crunchy, certainly not cooked thoroughly. Didn't ask for it to be cooked because it needed at least another 30 minutes in a hot oven. The cactus blossom was amazing. The rolls were hot and the cinnamon butter was delicious on them. The corn, fries, and mashed potatoes were good as well. The restaurant was very busy but that is no excuse for sup-par food preparation. I have no interest in every going back there. Pretty chill place for how busy it was just 30 minutes after opening. Seated at the bar was nice the bartender/waitress was attentive to not just me and my father but to everyone at the bar. We dinned in on 12/23/25 and had a group of 6. Wait times were reasonable and once we were sat we were greeted by Alexis as our server. She was so attentive to us. She communicated well when there were delays. She was as just on top of everything. I even witnessed another server drop rolls and butter on the floor and others walked by and didn't clean it up. I LOVE Texas Roadhouse. I know a ton of complaints revolve around their wait times and parking, however I recommend using their website to get the wait started. That way you can check it before leaving your home, and put your name down. Parking is always full on busy nights, but you can always park in aldis and just walk across the parking lot. The food is excellent and service is always great. The worst part about Roadhouse is how they have you wait. It's pretty chaotic once they have you wait on various numbers, it really just puts large groups right in the way of the poor waiters and hostesses. Loud, fun, happy vibes in there always. read more

So me and my friend and her child decided to stop at Texas Roadhouse on Clemson Blvd after we left the movies on yesterday late afternoon and soon as we got seated to our table within 5mins our waitress comes to our table touching our bread basket throwing things around on our table like she was looking for something and come to find out she had the manager approach our table and ask us have we seen some money on the table that was suppose to be her tip money and even had the nerve to ask us did we take it and we told her we didnt see no money while we got seated at our table and we have no reason to take money off a table, she then goes on to say ok well I will send your waitress back to your table as if nothing happened and we told her there was no need we got up and left immediately it was packed and to accuse paying customers in front of other paying customers of stealing money is mad insane. As many times I have came to Texas Roadhouse I have never had a bad experience like I experienced on yesterday that was totally unacceptable and totally unprofessional and they will no longer be receiving any more of my business in the future. Ate here on a busy Sunday night. Appearance: restaurant was not very clean...tables still had food on them, floor was messy. Service: Aside from the abrupt, rude young lady at the hostess desk, not too bad; our server was a nice person who checked on us regularly. The woman that delivered our second steak was very polite (see below). Check-in is kinda a joke, though. We got on the waitlist online, waited one hour, checked-in at our assigned time, waited outside 10 minutes, and then waited inside at our assigned "number 2 on the wall" for another ten. Although the rude girl at the hostess desk claimed to have texted us that our table was ready, we never got that text. Funny, I get all my other texts, though. And, what's up with the $2 service charge for the tableside payment...I get to pay $2 extra for the server's convenience? Why? It's not like you are protecting your patrons for us to have to use the little fingerprinted, sticky handheld device like the other 50 people before us. Food: Aside from the rolls and cinnamon butter, below par. We've eaten here before, and it was a good meal for the money. Not at this experience. Food took forever. Our server had to return to the table to tell us things they were out of. Cheeseburger resembled a hockey puck. The requested medium rare steak was delivered to the table well done. 1 stars = 5 stars for the super nice and good waitress. Food? I ate better in golden Coral for half of the price. My wife and I both ordered the 12oz ribeye. I ordered a blooming onion with it. 1. Halfway though the blooming onion, it tasted like fish- for the ones wo don't know, I'm close to puke, if I even smell fish. It turned out, there where pieces of shrimp (worse than fish- disgusting) in the onion. So I couldn't eat it- I normally pack it in- not this time. Just to explain the relationship between me and fish: If fish would be the only thing in the world to eat, I would starve in front of a full plate of food- not without having my stomach coping the whole time, I'd sit there. No- I don't like fish in any form. 2. Both of our steaks where over 50% fat. I get it- Ribeye are marbled. But this was far beyond. We asked for the manager- all she said was- well, Ribeye is marbled- you want another one? Well, we denied. With the slip of the waitress in mind- "yes, we have a lot of complains about the Ribeye lately...". This was the third bad experience at 3 different locations- overcooked- overspiced- now this...- we will not try another one. No Texas Roadhouse for us anymore. Let me start with the positive. Our server was great. He was attentive and genuinely apologetic for all the mishaps of the evening. Thank you Avery for your outstanding customer service. The burgers my son and his father ordered were perfectly cooked and they enjoyed them very much. Unfortunately, that's where the praise ends. I wish I had my phone with me during the dining experience so I could post pics. My daughters ordered mini cheeseburgers, grilled salmon, and a chicken tender plate. The mini cheeseburgers were burnt to a crisp and cheese less. Sent them back and what came back was what appeared to be two tiny triangles cut from a well done burger with a 1/4" strip of cheese. The salmon was so over cooked it had to be cut with a knife and had no flavor. Chicken tenders seemed fine. I ordered the 8oz sirloin rare with shrimp and two sides . What I got first was what appeared to be a pre-chewed shoe sole that was bordering on a hockey puck that had been run over by a farm tractor. The second steak they sent out would have made excellent steak tartar. It was raw. I get it kitchen staff, really, I do. Send the lady a slab of sushi - how dare she complain about her steak being well done. The third steak came and was cooked right - hallelujah. Unfortunately, I was over it by that point and just wanted to leave. The apps came out after the entrees. The blooming onion was raw in the center - the batter was still liquid - like pancake batter. The appetizer sampler - well, they were out of potato skins so we asked a double order of the boneless buffalo wings and the deep fried pickles. The chicken looked like it had been in a serious fight and lost the battle with zero grace I and the pickles were swimming in a pool of grease. Gross. The manager refunded the kids mini cheeseburger meal and the cost of my steak. Didn't offer an apology. Nada. Don't worry, we still tipped Avery 30%. I'm still waiting on my baked potato but somehow I don't think they will ever find it. Maybe while they are looking for my baked potato they could find a new expediter and a grill cook. Also - we made our reservation on-line and checked in with a full party when we got there. Still had to wait 40 minutes past the time we were supposed to be seated. I would think a large group to pay to eat at your restaurant you should accommodate. The food is good as always but the service lacks something to be desired, and having the waitlist for smaller parties is dumb. You should have the waitlist for larger parties 6-up. read more

My negative review is only for the call in for take out. I usually order online but when I've been on the road and driving, I will call in to place a to go order. Every time I call in I have to wait 6-10 minutes listen to the horrible song on repeat for a dozen time, finally I hang up and call back, wait another 6-10 minutes before someone finally answers, again being tortured with the same horrible song on repeat! Overall my friends and I had an incredible experience. Although we had to wait a little it was DEFINITELY worth it!! The food came out in a timely manner, the steak was juicy and tender, very flavorful and seasoned to perfection. I don't want to leave my review but Texas Roadhouse needs to do better. Waitress was friendly. It was the food I was so disappointed in. This is the first time I've visited this location. Our appetizer was brought out on a dingy beige plate and they items were rolling around and almost fell off the plate. Not a big deal, didn't look appetizing at all. I ordered Chicken fried steak. The outside breading was so salty, I couldn't eat it. So I attempted to eat the flat pressed thing, that I'm guessing was supposed to be the steak. It looked like almost paper thin and not any taste.
