The service was good. The food was good. The portions are still bigger than I can eat so I always have leftovers when we go, which for me as a bonus. The stuffed mushrooms are good and the lobster linguine was delicious. The only issue that I really had was the bathroom was out of order for the women and as I have some stomach issues was unable to use the bathroom there. read more

The service was a little slow, but the food was delicious! Best deals are at lunch time. (Take a jacket if you decide to dine in. It's freezing.) My only complaint is that they up charge for a lot of different menu items. read more

My husband and I only went for drinks and appetizers. Our services was great from the bartender, manager and from the hostess who was fairly new. The hostess name was Keanna and even with us sitting at the bar, she came by to make sure we didn't need anything the whole time we were there. read more

Obsessed with this place! They are so consistent- service is always top tier, food is great, ambiance is great. My family and I have been dining here for years and we seriously have no complaints. I wish more people were aware that this restaurant is not a "ma & pa".... When their prices are raised or lowered, it has nothing to do with the staff you are being served by, only the super super higher ups. I think unfortunately this location has a lot of clientele issues, considering I've witnessed many situations happen in there and the managers on duty handle them nothing but respectfully and following rules that their higher up's enforce. We will continue to come here until the end of time, extra shout out to Terri & Angela. They are awesome at what they do, along with the GM as well. She's a badass who knows how to run a business! Y'all go check them out (: read more

I don't do reviews but this is the worst Red Lobster I've ever been. I and husband went here for dinner, their coleslaw is s*** the worst we have ever had also. The server took forever to get a drinks and we weren't half way eating and she asked us already if we want it in a to Go container. Dis appointed of this place. read more

Lee is an amazing host! So caring and thoughtful. She made the wait for a table enjoyable.

Great and quick service, hot and tasty food is why they get 5 stars. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. We just left so a Wednesday evening and started dining around 5:30. Emily was our server and the perfect accommodation to our dining experience. Not overboard and stealing the show but right there just in time. Our food for the most part was great. I chose the pick three and ordered blackened salmon, R-something shrimp and sea scallops. The scallops were amazing. Everything cooked to perfection even the salmon which most times I don't order out because it is normally over cooked. The only thing I would say is I ordered my salmon blackened but didn't taste any blackening season. Still a great meal. My sides were the bacon Mac and Cheese and the Brussel Sprouts... both very good sides. Hubby ordered the Crab Garlic Linguine Alfredo. His only comment was he was hoping for more sauce but was okay without the extra calories. I would order my meal again for sure and we will definitely return. I cannot believe I let the reviews make me think this was an awful location when my experience today was the exact opposite. read more

We came here to RL in Clemson, SC for my sisters birthday. No one really in the parking lot (that was the first red flag) this was on a Sunday around 1:00pm. Once we arrived we were seated, it was obnoxiously cold where we sat, asked them if they could turn down the air just a tad, we were shivering it was so cold. The waitress hardly came to check on us, had to pour our own refills, all the employees were too busy in the back chatting it up. The food was not worth the price that we paid, the hamburger tasted like it was out of date. The lobster rolls were the only thing fresh. We will NEVER be back absolute worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. read more

Today is Saturday, April 9 2022, at 4:30 PM, we came in for endless shrimp, our waitress was Natayya, (Tayya), she was awesome, I mean to tell you this is one of the best waitresses we've had in a long time, very pleasant very patient, and very cheerful. I commend the management of this location for hiring staff like this. Regarding the food what can you say it's endless shrimp and it's yummy, hot, and plenty, thank you for having it on the weekend and not just Mondays. It made our date night very nice. The only complaint was that the ambient temperature in the restaurant was very cold. Other than that our meal was great read more

The food was good... the biscuits are the highlight!!! We called before lunch was over to see if they would honor the lunch prices .. we were told they would. We got there 30 mins after the time but they did not honor the lunch menu. A little disheartening. They said the system did not let them. Customer was not first priority in this situation The table service staff was exceptional and food was good and consistent with other Red Lobster establishments. read more

Endless shrimp was tasteless and way overpriced. Lettuce in salad was spoiled, and service was absolutely ridiculous. Never again

We went Saturday afternoon for the Endless Shrimp event. Like many restaurants these days it was 1/3 full and there was a wait. They removed the seats in the lobby so rather than sit next to each other (to avoid COVID) now we stand next to each other (what?). We were seated in 10 minutes. Our server was Tayya who was exceptional. She was consistently attentive, overworked and kind. We ordered immediately Ama subsequently ordered 5 scampi orders and 2 Parrot Isle coconut shrimp. The food was hot and really delicious. The restaurant was clean, orders were accurate. The average wait for our food after order was 16 minutes, give or take 3 minutes. The restaurant was freezing. Not chilly. Not cool. Freezing. Which was really uncomfortable and cooled our food really quickly. The tables around us repeatedly complained about this. We brought home a lobster stuffed baked potato for lunch the next day which was also delicious. We will return here. A few years ago this location was run down and usually deserted. It's much improved alls very good food. Wear your fur coat alls mittens and enjoy really good food in good quantity. read more

I HAD TO DO IT!!! I couldn't give this Red Lobster another 3-star rating after tonight's visit. I had to go with 4. They did everything right. And the only reason I gave them 3-stars last time is because they serve frozen seafood at an inflated price. Well, I have decided not to punish them for being what they are - a food joint that sells/serves frozen seafood. And as places like that go, they do a decent job. Our server was on top of her game - fast, friendly, efficient, everything right. The food was served hot and in a timely manner. We got the Sweet Chili Shrimp (very good), Crispy Calamari and Vegetables (very good, especially the broccoli), Cole Slaw (excellent), Cheddar Bay Biscuits (exceptional), Admiral's Feast (bay scallops - very good///clams - not that good, in my opinion///large shrimp - good///fish - very good///baked potato - excellent, fresh/////All items were fried except potato, of course) The food looked and tasted good. It feels a little bit strange to be choosing 4-stars for this restaurant, I never really thought of them that way. But like I said if you judge them in context, they do pretty well. They never claimed to be a fresh seafood restaurant, although they do have a selection of fresh fish to choose from. And while some folks have reported having problems with service, that has not been my experience at alI. The one gripe I continue to have with Red Lobster is their prices...they charge as if they ARE a fresh seafood restaurant. Our bill was $44.43 and we had water to drink. If you go in knowing what you are in for, you might enjoy this restaurant. Expect to pay a bit more than you might pay elsewhere (but the food IS good), DON'T expect fresh seafood and prepare to enjoy the best garlic/cheddar biscuits you've ever had! read more

After a horrible situation at the Quality Inn had me thinking I was robbed, my partner and I went to Red Lobster for some drinks to decompress and from that point on Emily, Justin, and Meredith turned our night around completely. Could've been a lot better. The waitress was fine polite and half the food was really good, that was probably the best part of the evening. But you know we played full price. The star of the show was supposed to be Alaskan king crab legs which were old, The white under part was yellow they were soft they did not crack open and we had to dig for every little piece of crab. They burned one of my wife sides. And on the way home all we talked about was how nasty the crab legs were. I guess we should have gone to the Hook. David and Diane. read more

i give this a zero i can see why people do not come here. they had no chickin tenders they were out that made me mad

Worst experience eating here June 2021. They are still blocking off booths for seating and the menu is still small from Covid 2020. Asked for malt vinegar for fish and chips they tell us we're out of malt vinegar and oh by the way we are out of coleslaw. A seafood place has that has ran out of vinegar and coleslaw is just completely unacceptable especially when there's a Publix less than a mile from the restaurant and no one thinks to go there to get at the very least malt vinegar?! Anyway my son wanted to try their new burger called Kobe beef burger. Suppose to be the high end kind of burger. Well his burger was cooked so much it was like shoe leather. The biscuits were the only great part of the meal and we spent o er $50 for a terrible dinner there. I can honestly say we will probably never patron this business again. Our server was a young guy who did his best but the food was low standard and not having staples to a seafood restaurant is kind of pathetic. We work too hard for our money to spend in a place that doesn't seem bothered serving below decent standard food. We used to love eating there but can't see any reason to return. The menu has been butchered and not returned to normal yet. The pandemic took out their huge menu along with their high standards read more

Red Lobster in Anderson, SC. Most of the food (when we finally got ALL of it) was fine - and tasty too. HOWEVER, our dining experience was far from fine. Evidently, Red Lobster has a new policy (perhaps it is only THIS Red Lobster), to have the entire party present before being seated (only 3 in our party). The host also told the people that arrived just before us and the people that arrived after us that they could not be seated until the entire party was there. The 2nd party said they would just sit at a table for 2, and the host informed them that when the rest of their party arrived, they would not be seated with them, but away. None of us were happy with this new policy. Our food: - my lobster bisque was not good - no lobster or any fish pieces, very bland and caulk-like - and the bowl was only 3/4 filled. My husband said his bowl (filled to the brim) of clam chowder was very good. They were out of coleslaw (which we were not informed of until much later). Coleslaw is supposed to come with the special for that night, so how could they have run out - especially at a restaurant specializing in fish entrees. When the entrees were brought out, both my husband and myself were missing food items. They eventually arrived - I was almost finished with my meal by the time my potato came. They did not get our check correct which was the icing on the cake - so to speak - not good), so we first spoke to our sever about this. She said she could not do anything and would have to speak to the manager. She went and spoke with him and then came back and told us that there was nothing that could be done. We told her we wanted to speak with the manager. She kept trying to tell us that nothing could be done. We were not pleased that she did not seem to want us to speak to the manager which seemed really strange. Finally, the manager came out and spoke with us. We did finally get our issue of the check resolved. However, the manager should have taken care of this when the server first spoke with him. We like Red Lobster, but I am not sure when we'll go back. We used to go quite often. It was different then, in 2020. There may have been a different manager there then - a woman who was always coming around to each table ensuring all was good. She was great! We surely cannot say the same for 2022. read more

Went to the Anderson,SC Red Lobster today for our 34th anniversary. Everything was wonderful. Our waiter Jeromy was great. He was polite, funny, helpful and courteous. We got the Admirals Platter and the Sailors Platter. EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection, not one clam stip was overdone, the fried scallops were not dried out, the shrimp and fish and even the fries were all fried to perfection on the Admirals Platter and the broiled fish, Scampi and shrimp on the Sailors Platter was perfect. Our biscuits were perfect and the colesale was excellent. We drive over an hour to get to the closest location so I was thrilled that the service was top notch, the food was perfect. Also love, love, love the Raspberry Lemonade. read more

I wasn't impressed with the food. Growing up in New England near the ocean, this food they serve is not fresh or close to being fresh. The lobster does not have the taste like areal fresh one does...........scallops were rubbery and punched out with a machine............real scallops are not all the same size or shape. These probably came from the under belly of a fish. Fried clams were overcooked and dry. Rolls are to die for. Prices are high............guess I will wait to go to the ocean in cold water to get a real taste of good seafood. read more

Yeah, just meh for me especially for what I paid. Best thing was the service. Really attentive waitress, helpful with the menu, friendly suggestions. We went for the first time in a long time. I ordered the New Orleans salmon- full meal, it was great. The sauce is the best part. My husband got crab Alfredo. Also good, but ordered a 1/2 lb crab legs .... and the crab legs were definitely not worth the price. The claw was super small and was missing part of it. Kind of a rip off. The price for Red Lobster sort of makes it not worth the trip. We went because we wanted seafood and all the local fresh seafood places are closed on Mondays. read more
