My favorite coffee shop !!! Always a smile and a "welcome friend!! We're glad you came " Jordan the Owner tries so hard to please everyone and they change things up to keep you interested in what may be available. There aren't many places that make you feel this special. I think after 2 or 3 o'clock the baked goods are discounted so if you want a croissant to hold you over it's nice to know. Pull in the lot and drive behind the ups building. I hope this turns into a northeast chain someday the owner really tries to please !!! read more

As always for me, it's people first. The folks who run Longfellow's are just awesome. When there's a line of cars at rush time, they'll come out, ask what each vehicle wants to order and by the time you hit the window your hot or cold drink is coming up right on time. I appreciated the respect for my time as a customer. I have no problem waiting in line if a business makes these kind of gestures. The beverage was great. I am an Americano guy - plain as can be, I guess. It was excellent. Tasted fresh and not bitter - but had a great kick to it. Price was very reasonable - less than Starbucks or the like. I recently moved to the area and have visited Longfellow's almost every single day! Their iced coffee is absolutely perfect with the BEST flavors... I personally go for the shortbread flavoring and it is fantastic and unlike anything I've had before. All of the staff members are completely lovely. Although it is a busy drive-through, the wait is never too long - someone comes out to your car (masked and 6 feet away) to take your order so it's ready at the front. They also have a great loyalty program. Such a great way to start my day! read more

Love it The line can be a bit long but if I am not rushing to get to work I will wait for a fresh cup of coffee.There is one thing I must admit, I noticed the fairly new,younger staff members don't quite get your order correct.I love a light coffee for the creamy flavor and a lot of times I'll get it very dark because they aren't listening,don't care or simply didn't put enough half & half there!! When you drive up to a building so small that your bathroom dwarfs it and it says COFFEE on the outside, you have to think one of two things: 1) Thank god I don't have to live there; 2) if coffee is what they got, they only have room to make one thing...and it's going to be good. This place is great. Excellent espresso, latte - iced, hot, etc., nice people to greet you (outside also, if there is a queue on busy mornings!) and you are supporting an independent, small business. Driving back from a day of skiing my husband asks me if i want coffee, ahead in the distance i see the infamous pink and orange Dunkin Donuts sign, i sigh and say, "yes, but not that crap again please".....we get to talking about why i don't want D&D anymore; high acidity, mild flavor, boredom and then ahead i see this small hut and it says coffee - drive thru. I tell my husband, "THERE!" And there we were, staring crazily at the sign - tons of different drink combinations, healthy snacks, it seemed too good to be true! the coffee was excellent, we both got the "red eye's" which had shot of expresso. i wish we had cute little coffee huts down the by where we live, rather than this commercial coffee joints...loved it and would definitely visit again on our next trip skiing! read more

I dream of dark roast with the aroma that comes with it like a fine wine. Yes, I am a coffee snob. Longfellow is way above Starbucks although we do drink the Italian Roast & French. Waiting for K cups because somehow the do it yourself don't work as to brew strength at least for me. But the French Press, perc, pour over,drip etc Are all amazing. If you can try all different ways with your fav.It just switched things up and gives you fresh eyes on your fav brew. I do have another go to Grumpy but that's only in NY and touted as the most expensive cup of Joe in NY. They have gigantic machines imbeded in their store to produce their coffees ( they don't allow take out cappuccino because they claim it gets bitter) Nope,Longfellows is the best for your money and your taste buds. read more

Longfellow's started out so wonderful.......and then I returned from being out of the area for 5 years. The coffees have declined in flavor and quality, but my biggest disappointment is the baked goods. I used to crave their fresh scones. Even though they were wrapped in plastic, I could tell that they were made that day. The last 3 times I have been there, however, even as I specifically request the freshest scone, the scones have been old. They are selling 1-2 day old scones to people, and this is a huge disappointment. When the shop was managed by the owner and his son, the place was great. Now the place is managed by others, and we are getting poorer quality........and oh by the way, the prices have NOT come down. Too bad that this once great place took such a dive. read more
