Was a little iffy about eating here after reading a few reviews. I used to always eat at Long Wong's back in the day and it was always good. Last night we were nearby and just decided to stop in. We walked in and the cashier quickly greeted us and told us to let him know when we were ready to order. We looked over the menu for a few minutes and decided on: Loaded potato skins Wings - 6 hot and 6 garlic parmesan One mushroom burger special - came with fries and drink He was super friendly and handed us our number after we paid. We sat down in a booth and waited for our food. Our food all came out separately and so we ate as it came. The mushroom burger was delicious. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and cooked well. The curly fries were my favorite as they were hot and crispy. The hot wings were really good and I would pass on the garlic parm as they were too greasy. The loaded potato skins had no flavor but with some salt and pepper they tasted a little better. The booth we sat in had holes in it so it does seem a little run down. The inside was clean though and the worker was sweeping as we left. Overall, I'm glad we gave them a try. We received great service and good food. read more

I've been dining at Long Wongs for years, since I was a young kid! A Chandler staple, this establishment is one that is great for both dine in and carry out. They have a lunch menu that is also offered on weekends! Long Wong's offers quite the variety from their famous wings, to pizza and burgers and their teriyaki chicken and rice. I love their appetizer selection which includes one my favorites- fried zucchini! I usually opt for fries & traditional or boneless wings extra crispy tossed in their "suicide" sauce. Everything they offer is delicious and you can never really go wrong with whatever you decide to order. Service is always quick and friendly and the establishment itself is clean! I arrive at 7:40 and my pizza and wings are sitting on the counter - "We're waiting on your fries" she says when I get there. I ordered my wings well done extra crispy and had to send my wings back twice because they were not well done or crispy so the third time I sent them back she told me her manager said they will not make them again because I should have asked the first time. So I've been wanting to try Long Wongs For a while and my daughters had a chorus concert at Chandler Center for the Performing arts, So when they broke for lunch I was driving down Arizona Avenue and decided to try it!! When I first pulled in, the parking lot was empty at roughly 11:45am, being someone that works in the food industry I know that's normally a bad sign, but I proceeded to park and go in, As I enter, I immediately notice that it's colder inside than it is outside and there's one lonely person sitting in the entire restaurant!! The young man at the register (Either not trained Correctly or didn't care), as I asked him questions about the menu, he clearly didn't really know the answer. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, potato twists and a drink, paid and went to sit down after five minutes or so I went up to request my drink started at the counter for a good five minutes. Nobody came out so I got to sit back down two other people walk in. He comes out as soon as they get to the counter. After Probably 10 to 15 minutes the food comes out and this is where things go bad quickly. The potato twist were raw and cold. The burger had no bacon or onion (When requested I was treated like an inconvenience and given some broken up bacon in a hotdog boat) it was also thinner than some toilet paper I've seen, dried out and looked like a mushroom due to being cheap Processed frozen freezer burnt Questionable beef!!! When I asked to speak to a manager for a refund, the kid disappeared to the back Returned gave me a cash refund when I use my card to purchase never gave me a receipt and I never saw a manager!!! I'm hoping that this is not normal practice and not how things are normally done, But in the world were first impressions or everything and restaurants are a dime a dozen, The experience I had today is definitely not one that would make me want to return in the future!!!! We got home and the skins were hard as a rock, wings were soggy and the mozzarella sticks were hard. All the food was cold along with the salad. This place needs new management or new ownership. I have not been to this location in twenty some years. I know there food was yummy back then. So my family and I decided this was a good place to dine in. All staff were wearing mask and there is sanitizer too. We ordered a chicken salad, pizza and mild and hot wings with a couple of drinks. The drinks were provided immediately. Due to the incoming to go order pick up they were behind schedule. They took about 20 minutes brought the pizza and wings to our table. They told us our chicken salad would be out shortly. My daughter had to wait additional 25 minutes for her chicken salad. The server did not apologizes or male eye contact when she dropped off the salad. Other then this incident the food was delicious. Awful, terrible service. Great Food but terrible service and after three tries, never again. I loved their food and when they were in Tempe they were amazing. Now this location, we have tried numerous times to order to go and even given it an extra 30-40 minutes before going to get it we still had to wait an extra 30 minutes for french fries !?!?! I will make sure to spread the word to my staff to never go there. Ever. Not worth the hassel, no apology, nothing.
