Spring Rolls Delish!
Juana S.

Long Life Vegi House is my go-to Chinese vegan restaurant. The food never disappoints and is always delicious. The service is exceptional, as it's a family-run restaurant, and you might even have one of the kids lending a hand. Plus, the prices are reasonable given the location and the current economic climate. Pros: -hot & sour soup no egg -green beans and veggie chicken -Spring rolls Dos cinco dos mil viente cuatro

Writing a a revised review, after some years of going there pre-covid. This place is still amazing. Service is great. Food is still bomb! When I was younger, I actually never really liked hot & sour soup, but as I am older, I actually enjoy it, and theirs is really good, even not adding the egg, so it's vegan. This time, other items we had were: salt and pepper tofu & braised tofu w/ mushrooms. Yum!! Definitely, still a fave Chinese Regular/Vegetarian/Vegan Restaurant.

This review is both to express how incredible the food is and a call to help this local business out! They currently do not have enough consistent staff due to budget issues to have someone to wash dishes so they only do takeout or give dine in food via takeout boxes. My family and I went to this establishment for lunch and were totally amazed by the quality and taste of their food. A true vegetarian dream restaurant with a multitude of options. The restaurant manager who was female (did not catch her name) was incredible sweet and made sure we had a lovely time. Do check this place out and support them!!

Went in for lunch, and the service was nice and prompt, and food came out pretty quickly. I enjoyed the spring roll that came with the meal but didn't particularly enjoy the food otherwise - I feel like there was a funky after taste. It was disappointing to me because the vegetarian menu looked great and good vegetarian Chinese food can be hard to find. Ambiance is lacking, and they do use to-go containers and offer paper plates for your meal.

This is a vegetarian spot that is great for vegetarians, vegans and omnivores. The restaurant is a large space and can accommodate big groups. I came in with my brother (who is vegetarian) and recommended this spot. The service was quick and friendly. The lady, whom I'm assuming is the owner, was very inviting and ready to answer any questions we had. The food did not take long to arrive at our table and the portion sizes did not disappoint. We also got some (vegan) hot & sour soup on the house. It was very tasty! We ordered the potstickers, salt & pepper tofu, eggplant tofu and kung pao chkn. Everything was delicious. I can't wait to visit again to try something new!

Are you still serving people in to-go containers and paper plates?

They were in January

What kind of oils are used for stir frying and deep frying?

You can bet it's cheap refined oil (taste it)

Is the food oily? Are there any steamed items?

Not super oily and but I don't recall about steamed - it'd think yes

After ordering at the desk, waited 45 minutes, and then asked how much longer. Turns out, my order was sitting behind the desk, but have no idea for how long. I was sitting right in front of them. So, 1star on service. No detailed receipt. If you call, no answer. Food was excellent, although pricey. The mussels were yummy and will order again. The artichoke dip we had before, and I forgot to order TWO servings! So very very good!! The clams we had before and were delicious, so ordered again, but this time they were very spicy so will NOT order again. Other than spicy, had little flavor. Overall, very good food, beautiful place, extremely busy even at 2:30. Will order 2 artichokes dips next time and the mussels.

I called to make reservation explaining waiting didn't work for our son and she said if we came at 8 instead of 7:30 we wouldn't have a wait. We went at 7:45 and waited half an hour (just missing the sunset over the water ;( We got our food an hour later. fortunately we got an appetizer in only half an hour and he was ready to go after that. So we ate very quickly and packed his up. The mahi was dry, the green beans were mostly yellow (old), the couscous good, melted in your mouth except for the pieces that were literally hard as rocks (maybe rocks?). The waitress forgot about the non alcoholic drink, when reminded after 40 minutes, she apologized and it came in 10 minutes and was way too surgery... was supposedly ginger, elderberry, lime (hmm... didn't taste the elderberry and the drink was clear no blue/purple so ...?) too much trouble to get the waitress and ask about this. She was very nice, just not on it. My husband and son left (we had 2 cars) and the waitress came 5-10 minutes later asking if we wanted dessert ("we" weren't there anymore) The hostess that seated us was very sweet and on it. I never post reviews but wanted to get it into the AI that parents with autistic children use to scan for places.

We loved the concept that every cocktail comes with an amuse-bouche style tapa of your choice since it lets you sample different dishes before committing to more. The mushroom croquettes were flavorful, though the mojo verde could've used a little more acidity. The patatas bravas/aoli were perfectly crispy outside and soft inside with great sauces. We also enjoyed the shrimp and onion fritter (buñuelos) and the lamb sliders (hamburguesa), where the mint paired really nicely with the richness of the lamb. The broccolini (bimi) was the only miss for us. It needed a bit more time on the grill and some salt since it came across bland. Service was good and balanced. Staff checked in enough without hovering. Overall, a good experience with solid tapas and cocktails.

Bathrooms were clean. There is street parking around. Food - great. We tried the meat paella and was smaller than expected, as were the tapas. The pulpo and calamares were good, sure, but again small servings. I don't think the tapas stood out enough compared to other non-Spanish restaurants that serve the same dishes. Drinks - cocktails were around $20 each. There are also wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options. Would I come back? Maybe to try the weekend brunch menu.

Date: 3/27/2026 Time: 7:25 PM 68° Cool…read more My male companion asked where I wanted to have dinner this evening. I had a taste for Chilean sea bass. A search on this website resulted in Marica having it on their menu. He booked a 7:30 PM reservation for two. We arrived early. What started out as a not too pleasant experience for us was the attitude of the guy who greeted us when we entered the restaurant. Attitude bordered on rudeness (3 star). We somewhat tolerated it, not knowing what to expect next. The restaurant was filled with diners, and the only available seating was not far from the front door. Oh, the chill was in the air, and my not wearing a sweater and/or light jacket to stay warm had me shivering. I had to brave the element (LOL). Since there was no Chilean sea bass on their daily special menu, it took a little longer for my companion and I to peruse the menu, and decide what entrees we were willing to have. Usually I would order an Arnold Palmer as a beverage; however, this time I decided to be adventurous - reisling peach spritz please - to whet my appetite. My date had the Temescal pilsner. Eats: Grilled salmon arange ginger saffron blanc beurre, roasted potatoes and vegetables. Korean short ribs, honey garlic gochujang marinade, mashed potatoes and vegetables. Our meals were on point and bomb-diggity delicious. The arange ginger saffron was perfect with the carrot. It reminded me of glazed carrots. The green beans were fresh and not overcooked. Ooh, the Korean pork ribs were tender and that sauce was sweet and had a subtle kick of spiciness. (Definitely a perfect complement for the pork ribs.) I have to admit the chef knew how to burn. Food tasted so good that figuratively speaking y'all gotta slap the cook and his mama. Ambiance: Comfy and casual. Despite the dining area is small, still it is a great restaurant for dining on a Friday evening. From my perspective and vivid imagination with the indoor lighting, it exuded a romantic atmosphere. Only in my mind I can hear soft jazz in the background. What convinced me to give Marica a 5 star rating? It was none other than Enriqueta, our waitress. She was pleasant, attentive and so accommodating. The chef lost our order ticket; thus, the wait time for our meal took a bit longer than we anticipated. She came to the rescue and comped us with dessert - chocolate souffle with homemade vanilla ice cream. It certainly was a gesture of kindness to have my date and me smiling from ear to ear. Return visit? Yes, mos def...not the rapper for Chilean sea bass. Enriqueta said I can always call to find out what their daily special is.
