    DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE. SALES The salesperson misled us about two things and the time it would take to start the project. The old walls were not capped with stone, as the salesperson said they would be. The showroom model she showed us had a shower head and a side wand attached. However, the shower we had installed is an all-in-one model, where the head is a wand on a magnetic latch. We made the down payment for the project at the end of February, but installation didn't start until August. The paperwork estimated completion within 8-12 weeks, which would have been by the end of May at the latest. INSTALLATION 1. The shelf we ordered was installed almost 60 inches high, making it nearly unreachable for my wife. 2. On the day of installation (8/4), they discovered the door we ordered was the wrong size, despite two different people measuring. They had to install a makeshift shower curtain while waiting for the correct door to be ordered. 3. After weeks of no updates on the installation date, the fit of the door is so poor that I'm now looking into having it replaced by a local glass company. The alignment of the glass, due to manufacturing issued, at the top was off by half an inch. Even when I tried to press them to fix the issues properly, they seemed more comfortable offering a discount on the final price, rather than actually addressing the problems. In the end, they knocked $1,621 off the total project cost of $19,232. And God knows what it will cost to have the door done correctly. AVOID LONG HOME LIKE THE PLAGUE. The only even slight bright spot is the installers were very professional and courteous. They just couldn't outshine the incompetence of their leadership. 9/5/2025 UPDATE: so even the installers are incompetent. I waited for the silicon to dry on the door and first shower flooded the bathroom. The idiots install the door on the outer lip of the shower instead of the inner, funneling all the water under the door.

    Self that gets wet it's in the worst spot you have to take everything off it to clean it after every use. And it still looks gross - A shattered glass panel is propped against a bathroom wall near a shower area, with water droplets visible on its surface.

    Finally Finished... we signed the contract for this project on October 1. After about six weeks, I was called that the material I originally wanted was not in stock anymore so I had to go with something else which I just didn't care for any of them so I settled on one and it's just been an awful experience .They started doing the assembly on December 28 and they finished it on April 14 after four sets wrong doors shelf's I didn't want ,molding that I didn't want which I'm stuck living literally the molding is just horrendous. it was just the worst awful experience.

    $10,000 and I am so unsatisfied, the caulking is prone to mildue ans my shower makes crackling sounds after being out for 5 minutes or more . They have come to fix 3 times. They re-caulk, but a month later, same issue, going on 2 years, going to call the BETTER BUISNESS BUREAU. Worst purchase i have ever made. I was told I have to dry the surfaces after showering. Really, that's not acceptable.

    My husband and I agreed to have Long Home Products install a new shower for us at the end of January of 2024. The first part of the installation took place fairly quickly, in the middle of February 2024. As of today, nearly 6 months later, we are still waiting for the shower door and glass wall to be installed. I have called numerous times asking for an estimate to when the job will be completed. No one can give me a straight answer. As of June we finally got a hold of a manager and asked that something be sent to us in writing so that we could either terminate our agreement and go with another company to finish our project. We were given apologies and promises to lower the price for our inconvenience and assurances that the job would be "moved to the top of the list" and would be finished soon. Our project manager came out, took new measurements, shook our hands, looked us in the eyes and promised the job would be done by July 5th. We never heard from him again, July 5th came and went, and we still don't have shower door or wall. Management promised once again to look into this and then never called back, and has still not sent us anything in writing about the price reduction, which we have repeatedly asked for. I was so excited to be getting a new shower, but never expected to have no use at all of my shower for 6 months. I have been a homeowner for 40 years and have NEVER had such terrible customer service with a so-called professional company. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I wish I had done more research BEFORE hiring this company. If I had seen all the complaints and bad reviews before we signed a contract, we would NEVER have gone forward with using Long Home Products for this project. We should have done more due diligence, and that's on us, but after over 4 hours with their sales rep we were worn down by 10pm and agreed to this without interviewing more companies, against our better judgment. I suppose that's on us as well, but again, in all our years of being homeowners, never have we run into anything like this. So many empty promises, outright lies, and horrible customer service. Lesson learned, never say yes to the first sales pitch, check the BBB website (tons of complaints against this company), and do the due diligence of meeting with more than one company rep. The picture I've included shows the showers with no door or side wall, and my dog laying in it. He uses it as a dog bed and that's about all it's been good for since we still have no door or side wall!

    Contracted Long Baths to install new shower on 3/21/24. Salesmen were very professional. 4/18/24 New shower installed. The contractors did a terrific job on the installation, very hard working contractors. All was good, except they were suppose to extend one shower wall about 4 inches around corner. They did not do that and they knew nothing of this. Called that very day to Long Baths, left message to call back. No call back! Called a few times and finally spoke to representative. She said she would have someone call us. No call back! Called one of the salesmen. He remembered our conversation of wanted one wall to be extended to cover a problem area. He also said he would call us back. No call back! Its now, 2 weeks later and still no call back?? Bottom line, do not contract Long Baths - bad customer relations!
