From the slickster pretty brochure guys with 50% premium pricing and high pressure closing tactics (yeah those guys are still around) to the ones who never call back. In selecting a roof contractor, I had time on my side and began the selection process months before needing the work done. I chose to go with Mike Franco because he was a local, straightforward & straight talking guy who seemed knowledgeable about his craft and proud of his work and longevity. Mike met with me when he said he would, walked me around my house, explained the importance of various aspects of a quality residential roof replacement and provided a competitive proposal on the spot. Mindful of the weather, Mike scheduled the work on an ideal day in March. Once again, Mike and his crew showed up on time, completed the job on time with no upcharge surprises and cleaned up so that one would never know the property had any work done on it. Mike even offered to install my cupola which was not to be delivered until after the roof was completed. Outstanding job, Mike!

My experience working with Northeast Roofing Contractors LLC was amazing. I would absolutely…read morerecommend them to my friends, neighbors, colleagues, or anyone that is looking for a new roof or roofing repairs. The owner was very honest, transparent, and upfront right from the beginning. He takes great pride in his work and his word. He and his workers have a very strong work ethic. We had constant contact throughout the entire process. The workers worked non-stop and the work was completed on time as promised. They take pride in their work and they worked diligently and efficiently. This included the cleanup process. They also offer a financing option which was a big deal for me. Most contractors require a percentage down in the beginning and then the balance when completed. I was not able to have all the funds available, so I opted for partial financing. I wish all contractors were this willing to go the extra mile for their customers. It says a lot about a person who really means what they say and stands wholeheartedly behind their word and their work. They really did go above and beyond what I ever expected, it was a great experience. I wish they did more than roofing because I would hire them for all my projects.

I decided to go with Roof Kings because based off of four criteria: 1. Quality installation 2. Equipment 3. Warranty and coverage 4. Price Roof Kings installed hundreds of homes and are one of the largest roofers in the city with over 20 years of professional roofing experience. They also provided high quality shingles, presented me with multiple types, and let me choose what I thought to be the best value and quality. They were also able to do the roof quick, within a week and the job would have taken 1-2 days max, which was important to me. Price wise, they were not the cheapest (due to all the insurance the company holds being general liability, workers comp, auto.) but they were not the most expensive. Right in the middle. Honestly, I probably would have chosen them even if they were the most expensive. I felt comfortable when talking to the owner about his background and experience and felt that he was most knowledgeable and competent to do the job. More importantly, I had an issue with a small are near my window a year after the installation. The owner immediately came over, and within a couple of weeks, remedied the issue at no cost to me. How you service me after I give you my money... that's something we don't know tis something happens. The last thing I want, is for a contractor to win the business and then dodge my call when I need service done. This showed that they stand by their word and warranty. Service couldn't better!

It was later discovered that they had failed to properly install the original drainage system back, because the rainwater stayed on the roof and couldn't be drained away. It used cheap glue, perhaps because the canal was submerged in water for a long time and started to loose after two years. At the beginning there were only two or three places, but later there were more and more loose and later, bubbles began to appear in many places. It turns out that the entire new replacement was not built to standard. It's very difficult for ordinary people like us to notice. Therefore, you need to consider this before choosing them.
