First off kudos to their Salesman who talks a big talk about how they are great and everyone else…read moresucks. They will say they are the best in quality of the window, installing the window and customer service. So far 1 out of 3 applies. First let's talk the Salesman, they are pushy. Always playing the "sign today and you get this deal" which is complete hogwash. If you say no repeatedly they will keep lowering their prices so that initial price is way too high, this company brags about being so profitiable so they won't lose a dime on those reduced costs. Next comes the guy who measures your windows, easy to do so no complains there. Now comes the fun part, the installation crew. We had 11 windows ordered and only 2 man crew shows up, kinda weird because I had another company show up with 4 guys for 4 windows. Anyway, they show up and before they make sure they have the correct windows, they are ripping out the old windows. Notice how I mentioned they didn't ensure the windows they came are the correct ones? Well they arrived with 7 wrong windows. They had already ripped out the old ones before they realized they came with the wrong ones. To top it off, I could barely understand the guy telling me they are the wrong windows. I'm sorry but if your English is bad, then why are you working in a job where you are going to interact with customers? Once they realized the error we had to call customer service, weird because why didn't the installers call the company? After some back and forth with customer service, they put in another order to "rush" the correct windows to us. Installers put back the old windows and sealed them (poorly and the fact that the salesman talked big about their kind of sealent for their windows). Now we have the old windows which we cannot open and it is January so my heating bill will probably be more than what it usually is. As for the 4 windows that were correct, I just noticed one doesn't lock properly. You have to jimmy it to get it to lock properly because O noticed there was some fog spots in that window (Salesman talked big about how their windows are top quality, no outside gets in and installed correctly). AS of now we are waiting on the 7 windows they owe us and hopefully someone can take a look at the window that wasn't installed 100% correclty. I should note that some debris was still on our lawn (screws, springs, vinyly pieces, etc.) so it's a good thing I found them before I ruin my lawn mower blade. I also found a piece of the old window track on our garage roof, how did it get up there? Overall I would avoid Window Nation, they talk a big talk with not much to back it up. Maybe it was just my experience but after seeing much of the other reviews, I am not alone. Also, the salesman said he would stop by during the installation, that didn't happen.

That should have been easy enough to get to me, but it has now been 2 months and I have spoken to Window Nation 5 times about the fact that it has not been received and THEY COULD NOT CARE LESS. I spoke to the salesperson, John Pitro, about the issue 3 times and I STILL HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT. Spend your money elsewhere. Don't pay for things that you never get.

Weird but fine, if the text etiquette is on point. His was a mess. He asks me to take pictures inside and out, of the windows. Ok sure, but I'm one town over and you could just pop by. He asks what I want, I say picture windows. He sends me a picture of double hang and says he recommends them. Don't need them. Then he just TEXTS me a price range. Red flag. Where's your quote with the type of door being used? Also, the number is high. I ask for the SKU to look it up on my own. He sends me a generic link to an affiliate landing page for DOUBLE HUNG DOORS. Ok, so here's where you have to use your best judgement. These guys have great ratings on multiple pages, so they obviously do excellent installs. But that doesn't mean they aren't ripping people off, because you can get similar work done for MUCH cheaper. That's where I got him, bc he wasn't willing to disclose where his range was coming from and then immediately tried to pass me off to Renweal by Anderson, which is widely known as THE biggest price-hike in the game. The safe bet with them is whatever they quote you initially is about double what it should actually cost. So it makes sense the owner thought it's a reasonable peer in the industry. (Proposal…read more#16872151) OCI360 Exteriors sent out someone to look at the project (June 7, 2024) and spent a few hours measuring and talking about procedure and policies etc. He gave me a quote within a few hours and even offered to lower it if we would pay cash. He called his boss while we were sitting there, who offered an even better price if we would let them put a sign up and pressure us to agree to terms on the spot, which I said I would not do without my spouse. They sent the proposal (June 18, 2024) and we agreed to terms that day or the next and I signed the contract. They sent an invoice for the first third of the work (June 28, 2024, I didn't see this the first time, and requested that they resent it on July 1, 2024). They sent the project manager out to look at the job (On or about July 3, 2024) and look at logistics. He told me that once the deposit was paid they will file a permit the same day with our town. I texted them immediately after the deposit was sent (July 8, 2024) and my phone rang within 10 seconds. They said they mismeasured the job (two weeks earlier) and it would require $5500 more for them to do the job. This was a 68% increase over the agreed upon (signed contract) price. They asked me how much my other offers were for and I said I wouldn't tell them that and that I expected the company to hold up their end of our contract. I do not think they are losing money at all. After two weeks since I paid and they have still not filed a permit or delivered a dumpster as promised. The project manager texted me today to say that his office would start processing the return of my deposit as they would not do the job unless we agreed to pay 68% more than the quoted, signed upon price. If this review is still posted here, then this matter has not been resolved, and my money has still not been refunded.
