That decision turned out to be one of the best moves I've made so far. The experience started with their on-site consultation (BD) which was extremely thorough. The rep carefully documented every single one of my needs/preferences and quickly turned around a draft 3D rendering of the proposed siding, which allowed me to visualize the project and modify things that didn't quite suit the house, etc. Later the rendering served as an invaluable reference for tracking progress towards accurate installation of the siding and trim. Once we launched the project, the team started a group chat, including the entire core team (BD, project manager, and the owner), so everyone was always in the loop on the project at all times. If I had *any* questions, they responded immediately, even on the weekend. In my experience, this level of transparency and accessibility is unheard of in construction projects like this. The owner, Yuk, is absolutely outstanding, a paragon of business owner excellence who clearly values client satisfaction. Definitely want to comment on the actual site team, who produced very high quality work, and were super courteous and friendly (which is especially appreciated when you have neighbors who have to live through a construction project this big). I was impressed with the back office team as well, who was consistent in their communication and always friendly and accommodating. If you hire this company, you will not be disappointed. They do really cool projects (check out their IG ), and their prices are super competitive (though I would have paid extra money for the peace of mind they gave me in running this immense project). If I could give PlumPro more than 5 stars, I genuinely would. Thanks to the PlumPro team for making this project a success.

Where other contractors canceled appointments, arrived late, or were just no-shows - Mikel (out of their Hudson office) arrived on time and did a thorough assessment of the roof including taking drone footage. He sat with me and walked me through the whole process clearly, explaining all my choices in materials and didn't push any product or add-on. I did receive marginally cheaper quotes, but they did not leave me feeling like my home was in good hands in the same way that Mikel did, and I felt the extra money was likely to be worth it. Once I decided to go ahead with them, again, everything was done very professionally. I was kept informed of times and everybody showed up exactly when they said they would. I made a small change to the scope of the work in replacing additional plywood sections of the roof, and these were easily accommodated on short notice. On the day of the work, the crew showed up on time and Jurgan (the site foreman) kept everything moving with minimal disruption to us. I was working from home, and my wife and kids were in and out of the house for school and errands. Despite replacing the entire roof of the main building and two additions over approximately 9 hours, there was minimal disruption to our days. The house was protected during the work, and even with snow still on the ground, their cleanup crew constantly walked the property picking up and disposing of any debris, nails, old material etc. Ultimately the roof was replaced successfully and looks good. Every step of the job was explained to me, every question answered, and every decision explained. The team was professional, punctual and courteous throughout. A couple of weeks in and we've had snow, rain and strong winds. Everything is still perfect. I can highly recommend Mikel and Jurgan from Golden Group, Hudson.

d aspects of this end. From here I am going to just recount what happened and you (the reader) can…read moredecide if you want to use them. The problem with Ray Wiese started immediately. Demo: The kitchen was scheduled to be demoed and the demo company arrived. Instead of letting the demo company tape off the kitchen (hang plastic to protect the rest of the house) Ray decided to tell his handyman/site manager to tape the rooms. He did an ok job except he left loose openings in several spots. This let to a substantial amount of dust being spread over the first floor of the house, including a decent amount of plaster dust on a new $12,000 audio system. The good news is that the handyman/site guy did a decent job cleaning it up. It was not a gigantic deal and was resolved. Enter first real "on the job Ray Wiese" experience. I called Ray and told him that it was not a great way to make a first impression for work being done at my house. It was a gentle push back to get Ray to understand that it was a little sloppy. RAY STARTED SCREAMING AT ME. He screamed at me that I should "never say that to him" that "maybe they should not finish the job" and many other things. I was unable to get a single word in. He SCREAMED at me every time I tried to say anything. Here is the fact: I gently told him that it was not ok to get dust all over my house and his reaction was to scream at me. He never apologized to me. Ever. Then as the project progressed several small issues came up. For example the water filter for the kitchen sink and the heat for the bathroom that is attached to the kitchen and a few other small items. The water filter: The water filter was placed under the sink in the extreme back of the cabinet literally up against the power outlet for the disposal. It is pretty much impossible to get in there and get the leverage you need to change the filter. I brought this up to Ray and he would not budge. He refused to have the plumber move it, got angry at me again and told me to hire a plumber to change it when it needed to be changed. The heat in the bathroom: The heat in the bathroom was a radiator placed right next to the toilet. As anyone with experience knows, the salt in urine will splash on the radiator (no matter how careful someone is), this will cause the radiator to rust. I asked the guys (contractors) if we could put a "toe kick" heater under the vanity - they had installed two of them in the kitchen. The contractors told me it was "definitely doable" but there would be a cost difference. I said "yeah, I get that, lets do it". Then they said, "...And we have to get that past Ray". Meaning they had to ask Ray. Well, they did. And I did as well. And again, Ray yelled at me and refused to make any changes because that would "push the timeline". I told him I was fine if it got pushed but he yelled back "Well, I'm not!" Other small issues got the same response -- yelling and refusal to engage. I made multiple attempts to resolve the water filter after Ray told me to "hire a plumber." He never responded. Texts, calls. Nothing. The bathroom heat was the same -- yelled, refused, went silent. I even sent a detailed email agreeing to his communication standards and asking only to be treated with respect. He never acknowledged the screaming. Not once. I cannot recommend The Wiese Company to anyone.

They were able to completely transform our space by tearing down a load bearing wall and open up the kitchen and dining area. This has renewed the way we now use the space and has made the kitchen the social gathering area that we have always wanted. The second project was replacing 30 year old windows in our bedrooms, master bath and den. The Wiese Company was thoughtful to think about our existing windows and pick new windows that complement the overall home's design. Our last project was a complete overhaul of our home's exterior. Our home was insulated and sided with a combination of metal and wood siding. In turn, the updated siding modernized our 1974 home to the contemporary home we always wanted. What we liked about the Wiese Company: 1. The design and build process was seamless. They owned the project from start to finish. We didn't have to deal with any additional contractors. 2. They thoughtfully incorporated our design ideas. 3. They kept us updated on the progress through weekly meetings, so we always were informed and involved. 4. They finished on time and budget! Overall, the Wiese Company is great to work with and always listened to ensure that our vision was captured. Our family looks forward to working with the Wiese Company on our next future project.

I also would like to mention the cleanup, which was like nothing I have ever seen. They left my yard in better condition than it was when they arrived! The professionalism started right from the first visit - Manuel came to our home, and rather than pushing expensive ideas and knowledge on us, he kindly informed us of all options, at times even suggesting ways to save money. We have a toddler at time, and had trouble with other sales folks keeping the appointments short and to the point - Manuel was very understanding and helpful. When comparing the quotes, they were the best balance of cost, quality and commitment according to references I checked, and we decided to move forward with them. Throughout the installation, Eddy, Luis and their whole team was very professional. They worked quite fast - we had quotes for 2-3 weeks for project, Power finished it it 5 days, not by cutting corners but by having more people - at times there was a dozen workers there. They cleaned up the surroundings everyday for 45 minutes at end of each day - and when we found a small nail in garden bed, went hunting for them till they got the last one. During the whole project, if I found a small change I wanted, any small imperfection I asked to fix, they got it done. They even corrected small tilts in the building (most houses in new england are not perfect) so it is not noticeable at all. They even painted my door (did not expect, was not on the state of work), and cleaned for hours in the end to make sure no debris is left. I consider myself a little particular about these projects - I found some small imperfections that were only visual in nature months after the project, and asked if they can do something easily. Eddy brought a small crew, and basically redid the whole area to fix it to perfection. I also benefited from their in-house electrician (Mario) who I hired to reroute wiring and get some exterior lightnings and cameras - he was very responsive, reasonable and worked well with the siding crew. Lastly, Danielle in the office is very helpful with scheduling, payments and other support as needed. Siding is a big project. There are going to be some mishaps - any contractor that guarantees that nothing will happen, is lying and will shake off responsibility of fixing things if something happens. Since the beginning, power construction team was clear that they will get the job done, and if something is bothering us, they will fix it. When I noticed that the ladders scratched a couple of boards on the deck, they got a decking crew to replace them with new boards. To me, that is the contractor I want - who will stand behind their work, take responsibility and deliver what they promised with quality and speed. In the end, I believe Power Construction is an excellent contractor for complicated projects and excelled in getting a new siding in our home. We get compliments from all our neighbors, and multiple people have asked for company's info - because one can just look at work and see the effort they put in. Can't recommend them more.

Steve at Mr. Handyman reached out right away and asked me to call him to discuss the details. I called Steve to explain a job I needed done involving an access door from my garage. He explained what he thought would be the best approach and that one of his employees would give me a better idea when he arrived for the quote. Steve explained the pricing, hourly rate, etc. and that his employee would give me a final quote before starting any work. Derek arrived on time for the appointment (I also got a text when he was on his way which was a nice touch). We went through all the details together, he explained what he would do and the estimated cost. I agreed and he got to work. He did an excellent job and the door looks great. I asked about a second project involving our swing set which he thankfully had time to include. Again, he went over all the details and estimates before proceeding. The work quality was again absolutely excellent. Derek cleaned up his work area completely. The final price came in exactly where expected, which I will also say I think is a fair price for the length of time he was here and the quality of the work performed. He asked me about any other needs I had and gave me some documentation regarding the most common jobs his company handles in case I need anything in the future. I can't think of anything about the process that could have been improved here. I would definitely give them a call again if I need anything!
