Every once in a while, you have an experience with a contractor that is reminiscent of the times when the contractor is experienced, courteous, and fair. It's been a while since I have had that kind of experience, but I had one today. I had no previous experience with Maynard Roofing. I had a roof leak that needed repair. I called Barry after a quick google search and he came the next day to assess. He said he would be back the next day with help to do the repair. I don't imagine this type of small job is one that many companies would entertain. Maynard Roofing took care of it as promised. Barry and his team are great. Prices are very good. He installed my roof in 2021 and they were very professional from start to finish. On December 26, 2025 I noticed a shingle was loose on my garage roof and Barry came himself and fixed it on the same day. I offered Barry a tip for coming out and fixing the roof in 20 degree weather and he wouldn't take it he said we take care of the roof's we install and took only a handshake. Maynard Roofing came to my family by word of mouth as they are reasonably priced AND professional. My first impression of them at the start of day #1 (of two) was that they are extremely friendly, communicative, knowledgeable and conscience of our property. My best friend did roofing for many years and taught me a bit, so, as to not look obvious, I observed their work progression. What I can say is that they never once attempted to cut corners, to the contrary they did everything requested better than we expected. In fact, I was personally impressed that they actually took the time to hammer down everything by hand rather than utilizing an air compressor and nail gun as this prevents potential blow offs caused by compressors pushing low psi (for many ressons). The crew took great care as to keep the area clean of debris and stray nails. Upon completion, Barry (owner) personally performed a walk around to be sure the yard was property cleaned up. From the start of the bidding process through the end of the project, Barry Maynard (the owner) was responsive and quick, always providing updates. As for the new roof: Barry's team did an outstanding job replacing my old roof. They hand nailed everything and were quick and friendly. A problem did come up with the structure of my garage roof and Barry offered a quick (and cheap) solution. He wasn't pushy and the issue was legitimate.
