I was really surprised that even at that hour the whole restaurant was busy. The interior was stunning!! I loved the lighting fixtures and drappy curtains. There's mood lighting and then there's "I can't see lighting" and it was definitely the latter, which I didn't care for. The food was absolutely amazing!!!! 10 out of 10, the staff was also incredible! Can't wait to come back for more! My favorite was the Pork & Chive Shumai (dumplings with caviar) it was my first time trying caviar and I loved it. I didn't like the seafood dumplings as much as I expected. They were really good. I just loved the pork ones more. The beef and crab rice was also EXCELLENT!!!! Well worth the price. Beautiful place.

The service is always fun and i enjoy the open atmosphere. This Belgian-inspired brasserie continues to be one of my go-to destinations for great food, craft beer, and one of the best Painkillers in town. My must-order dish is always the crispy beer-battered pollock paired with their perfectly seasoned truffle fries. The fish is light, flaky, and fried to golden perfection, but the real star might be their housemade tartar sauce--it's absolutely addictive. A few other standouts from our table included: Savory risotto topped with seared shrimp and blistered tomatoes The NRBC Juicy Burger loaded with onion straws and beer cheese Every dish was packed with flavor, and it's easy to see why this spot remains a local favorite. Whether you're stopping in for a craft beer, cocktails, or a hearty meal, this is a place that's always worth the visit.

The first thing we noticed as walked in was how warm the place was. They have an open kitchen which is generating heat. They didn't seem to have central AC. They did have one wall mounted AC which was nowhere enough to cool down the place during peak summer days. We almost decided to leave and go elsewhere but we sat down. We got the following: Grilled Caesar salad was pretty decent for what it was. Duck Poutine was quite underwhelming. It was pretty cheese fries with duck on it. Not quite the typical poutine that also has gravy on it. Blood Orange Crème Brulee was my favorite item of the three we had. You could taste the blood orange in the crème brulee which was amazing. The portion could have been a big larger. I was expecting it to be in a small coffee cup. I could have had another one easily. All in over an average experience. Not sure if I will go back!

They had a little tap on the patio. So we hopped in line. My friend went inside to see if we could get beer faster. You know divide and conquer. She won, however the line outside was still long so we stayed in line so we could get another. Sure enough by the time we reached the front of the line we were out. So we grabbed a couple more put them on the open tab from inside and walked around. We came back after walking around and decided after seeing everyone walking around with pizza boxes and Togo bags that we would eat here. We knew from being there earlier that they had outside first come seating seat yourself, but it was full so we went inside, turns out that is also first come first serve seat yourself. There was a table getting up as we walked in so we sat down and they were quick to come clean it. The waitress came and too our drink order and we saw her 1 more time after that. Even though they have a scan menu on the table for you to place your order I think they should still check on you. She came at the end to see if we needed her to close out our tab at the bar, we had already taken care of that. We could have used her during our meal. The wedge Cesar was ok, the lettuce was nice and crisp. The Cesar was good. I always get my dressing on the side sometimes when you get a salad it can be overdressed and I don't like that so I don't take chances. The Chicken schnitzel was ok not outstanding. It could use some seasoning. The salad "on top" of it was good. The dressing was really good. Now this roasted broccoli was the star of the table. It was so yumm. I only wish the dressing was on the side. It was so much of it in the top I had to rub some off. Otherwise it was so good. We would have ordered more but having to use the San to order and pay each time I didn't like that so we just ate that and moved on. Maybe we will try the pizza next time.

My favorites: Netflix & Dill (Pickle Gose with Black Garlic), Deep Purple (Dragonfruit Ale), and Deep Blue (Blueberry Ale). Next time I'd try some of their blends, like Blue Dragon (1/2 deep purple and 1/2 deep blue). I didn't even realize there was a brewery over here until Gizmo hosted a paint your pet class (led by Victoria Lowry). The brewery is set back between Westgate, Ebenezer Church, and Glenwood. One ale I recently tried I had to bring back to the counter as it was so warm I thought I'd accidentally been given a cask ale. Oddly, they weren't really apologetic about it and were happy to charge me for a different (colder) beer, even though I'd only taken a couple of sips from the ale.
