I wound up getting their Oktoberfest beer, O-Fest, and my partner got the IPA they said is most popular, Shift. So tasty, and the IPA surprisingly I really enjoyed. These days it's hard for me to find IPAs that I'm willing to drink, and that one delivered. There's street and garage parking within walking distance. We came midday on a Sunday and parking was easy to find, and although busy inside the brewery we easily found a table. Highly recommend!

When you arrive there is plenty of parking out front or off to the side of the brewery. Walking in the brewery feels industrial yet cozy, dog friendly, laid back, and welcoming. To order you'll walk up to the counter, order a beer, and then grab any open seat either inside or outside. I ordered the no country for old penguins take two (hazy ipa; Hazy and juicy with passion fruit, mango, citrus, and blueberry. Paradisi, El Dorado, Citra hops create a smooth, tropical IPA with a crisp finish) which was excellent and well balanced. Definitely check out sneaky penguin brewing if you are in the north Raleigh area.

I didn't even realize there was a brewery over here until Gizmo hosted a paint your pet class (led by Victoria Lowry). The brewery is set back between Westgate, Ebenezer Church, and Glenwood. We never noticed it from the road and even with GPS were not confident on which building held the taproom. The class was inside, however, the outside beer garden looked nice with chairs and a TV playing the football game. The bartender was very patient and helpful. She allowed us all to taste several beers. If you like pickle juice then look no further than the Netflix & Dill. It was delicious. The inside is kept at a comfortable temperature and we enjoyed their music selection (classic rock, 90-2000s alternative). Overall, we enjoyed this brewery and recommend it to others!

Easy parking, dog friendly and a nice relaxing environment. Ben was very helpful and a nice guy. I sampled a THC Beer called Delta Quench. I enjoy edibles on rare occasions, so this was something new for me to try for relaxation purposes. Very refreshing ! I also had the Ginger Beekeeper. Very light and deliciously refreshing after an intense Pilates/Yoga class. I plan to return and bring my dog to enjoy the patio and other new brews.

I visited the former one and there was a clear reason it failed...their beers weren't good. Oaklyn on the other hand came in swinging and made some amazing top tier beers right out of the gate thanks to their head brewer Daniel aka Rusty, who developed all of their core beers as well as some knockouts over the years. This is by far the BEST brewery in the Fuquay-Varina area and in my opinion one of the best in the Triangle. I've been a customer since they first opened and I've had over 300 beers per Untappd at this location. I have several bottles of their rare barrel aged releases in my beer cellar. I used to be a weekly regular but I've since greatly reduced my beer consumption for my health and longevity so I don't make it out but a couple times a year now. Their beers are on a completely different level than any other brewery in Fuquay. They host various events and food trucks throughout the week. Long gone are the days of Wednesday night music bingo with DJ Gino and hot dogs with Chicago J Hotdogs. We used to be able to count on those two each Wednesday and a lot of us regulars laughingly joked that Wednesdays was kid night due to the amount of kids in tow and yes I am guilty of bringing my kids...J charged like $2 for a kids hot dog meal, was so cheap to feed them!! They really like to plug in with the community and host fundraising events as well as shopping events with pop-up shops a few times a year. When they were first getting started there wasn't a lot of business or traffic. One of the four owners would often be there, sometimes all of them, and they even paid their own tabs!! On top of that they always made sure the bartenders were taken care of on slow nights. I saw them hand them $100 bills multiple times so they really do take care of their people...you couldn't say the same of Aviator or Mason Jar Breweries. The only problem with the brewery is parking. There isn't much of it. Especially if there is a big event. And if you park in Enterprise's parking lot you will get towed. There have been times I went to visit and there was no parking anywhere. Sometimes you could stop and ask Kumo if you could use one of their spots or park in the collision center parking lot. Now they have two tap rooms so if the brewery is full I would just go to the Varina taproom. I love how community oriented this brewery is and has been and it will go on my favorite lists for best of Raleigh and the Triangle and best of Fuquay.

It was a totally bummer to get a few flights of beers invited some friends that live an hour away , just to be told this is the new policy and with no apologies or even refund on the beers , you could no longer could stay. Lonerider was very accommodating and accessible for both humans and dogs. Let's talk about beer and cocktails. As I was DD, you'll have to take my spouse's word for the beer. He enjoyed a couple of IPA's on the menu, and they very kindly made me a mocktail for half the price (which I'm grateful for as the drive back to Northern VA is kind of long, and I don't need to get pulled over with two newly adopted beagles already scared for their lives.) The outlaw extra menu, which is made up of specialty kegs on tap, also had a good variety on it. The big screen with all the different beers currently available is pretty cool. And I like that there's a fridge stocked up with take home beers, too. Plenty of parking outside. The beer garden was packed full of people and dogs and pop-up shops, still with room to sit and enjoy a beer or two. Inside there was plenty of seating and room to move around without stepping on any paws. I love that a portion of the proceeds from these events always goes back to TriBeagles, and I'm thankful for local businesses supporting these precious dogs in finding homes by providing event space. I wish we lived closer, Lonerider. We'd be here all the time.
